Spent so so so much time talking today during CoS because Wyn is the defacto face and I still feel like I could go for longer. I love this game so goddamn much that even when I'm having to do so much of the heavy lifting, I don't even mind it because the lore is so interesting and the characters are so good and the DM is so much fun to play with, UGH. WISH I COULD BE PLAYING AGAIN.

That said, WOOF what a lore dump today. We learned some very interesting things about the original inhabitants of the valley from an extremely firsthand source, and his retelling of things was... harrowing. Which was a stark contrast to the wizard spending the entire conversation just staring at him because he was hot.

Have you ever thought about using magic to create prosthetic arms or legs for a person? Or maybe you've seen someone with such a feature?

I have indeed met a couple of people that enjoyed freedom of movement yet again thanks to magically enhanced prosthetics. I was personally never involved in the their creation, however, as there are mages that specialize in healing magic more than I do.

All the prosthetics I have seen have been crafted expertly by dwarfs. The enchantment must be flawless to ensure proper and immaculate bonding of prosthetic and owner. Thus the need for specialized support mages whose experience is much favored for such a task.

I think that people who try to play a character who is like one level in every class are very tedious but I did just get an idea for a D&D character who's like "what if I tried to develop every power" and so they do a number of things (try to make deals with various powerful entities, dabble in religion, try to tap into forces of nature and the echoes of creation, walk through a weird wild magic field, sword and martial arts training, etc) but accidentally through the process of learning so much in order to try to cheat the system just becomes a wizard.

Kitty's programming relies heavily on AI; she has the ability to instantly learn and adapt pretty much.... everything? Dancing, singing, choreography, cooking, the list is endless! She just has to see it once, or perhaps even a couple of times, and after that be able to generate her own recipes, songs, etc. Granted, she is a prototype unit, so her AI is not 100% perfect, but it is quite sophisticated!

Having all that said, let's talk a little bit about songs!

Kitty has the ability to record any conversation, read text messages, emails, etc anything written or spoken, she can use as input to generate a song! And she can do it in any voice!

For example, this? This would 100% be a conversation she recorded between Valentino and Vox; And this? This would be a conversation / fuck session she recorded between Ozzie and Fizzarolli ( please teach Kitty that recording others without the consent is quite rude and inappropriate! )

Upon arriving in the Singing Mountain Clan's territory, I asked where they kept their books and scrolls. There was... confusion. At first they thought I meant to take. Then, they thought I wished to read. It took more words than I could easily bring to bear to make them understand I wished to add.

When I presented the knowledge-trading book, one of them must have recognized it, as I was quickly taken to see an elder. The witch was old, pushing a second millennia if I was to guess, blind and frail. She was more magic than flesh.

The elder took the book from my keeping, and bid me stay with the clan for a few days. Hospitality, again, as a gesture of respect for my... consideration of the tome? Perhaps... it was never made clear.
