As always I am blown away by your art and shall hoard it like Tim hoards his birds AND To each- (My ramblings below)

1.YESS- I love the fact that Wisp isnt even visible its just the mask from the shadows and the money is all this poor worker has to go off of. I like to imagine handing the taco out they just see a clawed hand emerge from the shadows and then slowly pull away.

2. Bruce conspiracy stance?? 10/10- and this man kept a VERY close eye on Shivia and Cane, but when he tried asking about any sons he almost got stabbed- three times (the third time by cass)

3. HASGASKD His lil MASKK and Wisp looks like one of those fancy greeting cards. But yes he releases her and is like "Cause some chaos, but for good" and Wisp (sorta) listens as long as its convinenct for her

4. Ultimate transportation, and REALLY adding onto his "pathetic wet cat" vibe even in the mask which is perfection

5. The birds crave their fathers embrace (The father cannot feel his limbs, and is 80% sure hes being activly pick pocketed)

6. Many things have changed in the new time- Tims height definency has not. (Though since they're always so far away and Cardinal 100% has a booster in their shoe- they're tiny but not TINY- and to be fair everyone is small to Bruce)

7. THISSS I love how you managed to portray three different versions all in one, Timothys mask, Tim showing himself having pulled away, and the shadow of Cardinal just behind him. Because in reality Alan is the ONE identity Tim feels free, because Timothy & Cardinal are masks, and Tim is alone.

Im watching CA:TFA and i have yet another critic for the whole ‘peggy is so important in steves stiry even though if you replace her with a lamp, there’d be no difference’

The part where steve is getting the serum and they show peggy in the booth with the senator, the colonel and that hydra spy, why the fuck do they keep focusing on peggys reaction, when a literal hydra spy is right there? Like how is her reaction to the serum so important but the guy who was sent by the leader of hydra’s was not?

Oml i have so many complaints about this movie 😭

YES, you can really see how comphet is the main priority! Also how they've forgotten to make Peggy competent by having her, eg. notice both the spy, or the spies hanging around outside that should've clued her in too. Too busy thirsting over power to notice. Typical! 🙄

(And how egregious that What If...? treated the moment prior, when Erskine told the non-scientist, non-medical, non-engineering person to get out the way, as if this was somehow misogynist and exclusionary of him... Conveniently forgetting all the unnamed female nurses he allowed to stay 'in the room,' because they're actually of some use, and supposed to be there, doing their jobs! I guess centring female characters is only important enough to do if they're dating a man?)

I think I've mentioned elsewhere my headcanon that CATFA is the events of Steve's life as told from Peggy's POV; that it's like a propagandised 1950s version of events, to whitewash all the interesting stuff (all Steve's politics, the uncomfy relationship with his male bestie, all his missions with the Howlies, all his time in the USO with unsuitable-because-non-Peggy women) ...to really drive home that the only message you should be thinking about is that Captain America is definitely straight and taken, okay??

If you've ever seen the show Frasier, you might remember an episode where Diane, a deeply obnoxious ex of Frasier's, shows up with a play she's written about their past life. She shows him the play and it's a horrific Mary Sue-lead warping of events, made to frame her as this beloved figure whom everyone adored (in actual fact they couldn't stand her).

That play... that's CATFA all over. It's the Play What Peggy Wrote. Her memoir would probably be titled something like 'The Woman Who Made Captain America.'

Even Steve's Smithsonian exhibition she manages to make about herself -- while married to someone else! -- though it's supposed to be about Steve and the Howling Commandos, of which she was not one. They don't even show Howard Stark, and you'd think a showman like him would be all over that free PR! 😬

Been practicing playing my boy Frank, only third time playing against people rather than testing the AI (even though rn just doing quick play) and I'm pretty proud of how it's going.

I keep scrolling my dash in search of "the most hopeful post to reblog before bed" and for each hopeful post I find there's another reminding me of why hope is needed.

Instead of scrolling in an endless loop, here's a picture of my budgie being cute and some adorable facts about him.

- His name is Pond both because he's blue, and because he used to have a flockmate named Lilly. Together, they were Lilly Pond. I'm probably gonna name his next flockmate(s) something that also fits the theme.

- I've had him for about a year and while he still doesn't trust me enough to perch on my hand or sit on my desk (I got a special mini-bird tree just so he could), he has a perch that juts out from the front of his cage and he'll climb as far onto the edge of it as possible so he can be close to me while still staying a safe distance.

- When he does go to the end of this perch, he'll increase the volume of his chirps until I tell him he did a good job and is being very brave. Then he'll tap his feet, wag his tail, and strut back and forth on the perch proudly.

- He's not a strong flyer, but when he does practice flying he'll do low-altitude laps around the room until he's ready for me to help him return to his cage. When I notice he's ready, I'll take the tiny hand perch I got for him, hold it up to him, and ask "Taxi?" He sometimes wants to challenge himself, but when he's tired from too many laps or he wants to hang out close ne for a few seconds he'll gladly hop on the taxi perch.

- When I feed him, I make a show of it so he gets excited and wants to eat. Most days, he'll tap his feet and get hyped and then wait for me to bring my own breakfast to my desk. He won't eat until I'm eating, and we'll hang out together having our respective meals.

- When I cover his cage and tell him good night, he'll wait until he's sure I'm done speaking and then give me the smallest and quietest chirp of any he makes all day. It's his specific "good night" chirp, and it reassures me that he's okay every time I hear it.

- Often, when I've been out of my room for awhile and I come back, he'll hear me say "I'm back" and wag his tail to greet me. I was initially worried this didn't mean the same thing as it does with dogs or ducks, but I confirmed the type of tail wagging he does genuinely means he's happy to see me.

- I love him. He is my shy little bird son, my skittish flockmate, my distantly affectionate friend, and he's great. I hope he keeps getting braver and happier and more fulfilled the longer he's with me, and lives a long budgie life.
