Have you ever thought about Griffin having to "babysit" a drink Valtor? Or Valtor "babysitting" a drink Griffin?

(Valtor being drunk happening because he drank some sort of alcohol from Domino which is also imbued with dragon fire for extra alcohol-ness?)

Sorry... This is random and everything and I just... Curious. (And trying not to laugh at the thought of what sort of drunk Griffin or Valtor would be.)

I don't really like to include drunk characters in my thought process at all because usually that's used to make the character confess some kind of feelings they've been having and it feels like a shortcut to dragging honesty out of them because the writer doesn't know how else to do it. Tbh my preferred method is to just overload the character with conflicting/negative emotions and make them have an outburst. Works better, I think. Plus, there's too much alcohol in life already.

Anyway, if I do use alcohol it's usually in a "self-medicating to numb the feelings" way which is extremely unhealthy but that's the point. And I can hardly imagine that kind of scenario with Griffin and Valtor while they're together because they would simply turn to the other for the function of cancelling out thoughts. Basically, they'd rather be drunk on each other than on alcohol. And I headcanon that drunkenness can be negated by magic anyway, if you know how. So... I can't really see it happening.

I'm watching this movie called The Kindred and its pissing me off.

This woman literally woke up from a 1 year coma not only finding out her father died but that she's given birth. (Apparently she was pregnant before the accident but because of her accident she has memory issues). And her husband is acting hurt because she "wants to look at the past" and doesnt seem to "connect to their child".

Bitch. She's looking to find out why her dad committed suicide. Of course she wants answers.

And as for the kid: she didn't get to bond with baby while pregnant. And going by the clips from the beginning, she may not have known she was pregnant to start with, which means she may not have been ready. And now shes being thrust into all of this?!

Fuck no.

(Also i get this is a horror movie, but this sort of shit just... Upsets me.)

@darkpoisonouslove idk if I’m to late for this but just wondering if you have an OC for Griffin and Valtor’s kid. I know trashcankitty has Valkyrie and I have one (I don’t think she will never exist any where outside of my head tho).

And who would be the over protective parent.

I am so bored. I just wrote a thing and now my brain refuses to be productive anymore but I need to do something and watching stuff can only keep me occupied for so long (reading is absolutely out of the question at this time of the day (unless I read on my laptop but my eyes will die in that case)).

Update:

So guys I just had to swap my writing app over to something else.

This doesn’t really change anything other than my formatting may seem different on AO3 when I start posting things again.

Especially on my genderbent universe that’s already sort of in progress. Please understand that if the format is wonky, it’s because I’m still learning this new app.
