Shoulder shimmying had never been so hard, but Y/N seemed to have finally gotten down the choreo to ITZY's 'Wannabe', the members of Stray Kids seeming to think so too. They had just been looking around for a room to practice in when they came across their young trainee friend, who they hadn't seen for a while due to their busy schedule.

A small applause sounded from behind Y/N, making her jump as she saw the door open and Stray Kids clapping for her.

"Ah! Hello sunbaenims!" Y/N blushed and bowed politely. She wasn't expecting to see them there, so absorbed into practising for her next showcase.

"Hi there!"

"Annyeong!"

"Wow!"

They all let out greetings as they walked over excitedly to Y/N.

"How has everything been? It's been a while since we saw you," Jeongin smiled widely at Y/N, trying to ease the obvious nerves he saw from her.

"Have you been practicing regularly? Your dancing has improved a lot," Changbin nodded his head in approval.

"Ah, you really think I've improved?! Yeah I've been practising a lot these days..." Y/N bashfully admitted, rubbing her sweaty palms on her leggings. Was it from exercising or from nerves? She wasn't quite so sure herself.

"We can see that. You're better at dancing and freestyling than us now," Lee Know laughed, praising the younger girl jokingly, but there was still a hint of seriousness to it that showed Y/N he was proud of her, and that helped her relax more.

"Maybe one day even Jisung will be jealous of your dancing skills," Felix laughed, causing the quokka like man to look over at him with a mock appalled face.

"Haha maybe I'll take his place as the ace," Y/N smirked, feeling comfortable enough to joke around with them. It wasn't a regular occurrence that she saw the boys but everytime she did, she was soon able to fall back into a relaxed state where it felt like she had known them forever.

"No way! You will never be as talented as me!" Jisung smirked back, yet he couldn't help but goofily smile back at her as he ruffled her hair.

"Well, we're glad you're practicing so hard. Would you like to have some fried chicken with us?" Seungmin piped up, his eagle eyes noticing that she only seemed to have some water in the room with her. Plus, he remembered what it was like being a trainee, and an offer of fried chicken would not be one to be turned down.

"Oh sure! If there's enough to go around!" Y/N clasped her hands together excitedly.

"Of course there's enough food! We're so proud of all your progress by the way, we can tell how hard you've been working, Y/Nnie," Chan praised her, as they all sat down together on the floor.

"Here, eat up," Hyunjin passed over a box of fried chicken to Y/N from the bags of fast food they had.

"Just remember to take a lot of rest too," Jisung commented genuinely, yet anyone could tell he, as well as the other members were very much so enthralled with the heaven sent food in front of them.

"Don't worry I do!" Y/N rushed out, before taking a bite of the fried chicken and wiggling slightly as she did a happy dance.

"You're so cute when you're excited!" Felix giggled as he saw her.

"That's exactly what Channie hyung does," Seungmin laughed along.

There was a moment of peaceful eating before Chan kept up the conversation.

"Oh yeah, we wanted to ask you something! Are you good at rapping?" Chan wondered, wiping his hands on a napkin.

"Well, I don't want to brag but I think I'm pretty good," Y/N shrugged, she had practiced enough and knew she was at JYP for a reason, and her talents certainly didn't go to waste when it came to rapping.

"Oh yeah? You actually rap too? I had no idea. Have you tried writing your own lyrics before?" Changbin got excited at the prospect of hearing Y/N rap.

"I'm not as confident in writing rap lyrics as I am in singing them if that makes sense?" Y/N explained, hoping it was understandable.

"I get what you mean. You must be very talented though since you can sing so well," Lee Know wondered.

"Do you happen to write your own songs too or do you learn songs from other artists?" Chan asked, interested in what her identity as a future artist would be.

"Oh I like to write my own songs too!" Y/N beamed. Now that, was an area she was proud of herself for.

"Really? Can you play one of your original songs for us?" Hyunjin said in a shocked tone, head tilting slightly in disbelief but wanting to hear her sing nonetheless.

The boys all stared at her in anticipation.

"Oh, sure... If you really want me to," Y/N became nervous again, because this was Stray Kids! Yes they felt like her friends but to sing her own personal works in front of them was still nerve wracking.

"Yes, we really want you to!" Jeongin encouraged her, offering that same reassuring smile as he did earlier.

All of the members were now eagerly waiting for her.

"Ok, here's a chorus I wrote recently," Y/N finally nodded, making the boys even more excited as she began to sing.

"Oh it's in my bones.

Hereditarily alone.

Surrounded by people,

But that gives no meaning.

It's in my bones."

The boys stared in in wonder, thinking the words were so beautiful and they loved the emotion she put into it even for such a small snippet of the song.

"Her voice is amazing..." Hyunjin was in awe.

"Yeah, you have a really good vocal tone!" Jisung clapped.

"And you wrote that yourself?" Chan smiled like a proud dad.

"Can we hear more?" Changbin said hopefully, nudging Y/N playfully.

"Well, I think I should now that I've sang a teaser for you," Y/N beamed, and for the next couple of minutes she sang the rest of the song to the boys. She even played a small backing track which consisted of an acoustic guitar, simple but sweet, building up towards the end of the song.

"I can't wait to see you debut!" Felix clapped with the other boys.

"You really will steal everyone's hearts, Y/N, you'll go far," Chan said, a big smile adorning his face as everyone offered their comments and praises to Y/N.

"Just don't let it get to your head," Lee Know joked, causing his members to whack him playfully and tell Y/N to not listen to him anymore.

"Thank you guys, it really means a lot."

i first found chelsea wolfe randomly on spotify trying to make a harrowhark locktoom character playlist 😭 it was specifically the songe 16 psyche, from her doom/acid metal album hiss spun. harrow does not have chelsea wolfe vibes, but i liked the hell out of it and the album, and it helped me expand my tastes into doom metal (esp with female vocalists), AND i listened to her other albums and like. she is insanely diverse in terms of genre. i don't even know what to call it. she has like. an unparalleled musical talent. she's genuinely one of my favorite artists. all of her albums fulfill different sonic needs to them, while keeping consistent this very visceral lyrical content, although varying her vocals from more distressed and agonizing to like, a lot more straightforward.

this is just random eyeballplanets lore, but my parents had a really eclectic taste in music. my mom has pressings of records from artists that you can't find on any type of service. that was how they met, actually. and so i've always been surrounded by lots of music, but a lot of my ability to describe music is just sensation. i don't really talk about my music taste because i don't think i got any type of mutual who like. really wants to know what i play regularly. the song sunday thing is like. not fully representative of what i always listen to. it's for my mutuals more than it is indicative of me. (i started with chelsea wolfe because i like her that much she felt like a fun way to initiate this new trend.) but i grew up basically just listening to rap. i started incorporating rnb and neo soul as i grew up (ego death by the internet changed me in more ways than im tough enough to share LOL), and then like. i decided i really wanted to branch the hell out. it's why you'll find me posting about the modern nz music scene in a tlt context 😭 <- not super often again i keep my music close to my chest but. and like. i think chelsea wolfe was pretty integral to that branching out. 16 psyche was SO different from what i listened to it like. threw me in the deep end of different sounds and here i am like. listening to ROCK sometimes. teenage me would never.

Okay i just got another idea like right now after reading this post once more (it's the fourth time, i love it so much).

I kinda can't stop thinking of how the child will grow. How will the others (Grovyle, Dusknoir, Celebi, Kip, Cresselia, etc...) act with him? Is he some kind of Darkrai clone or does he have exclusive features (physically or/and with his ability). What kind of person will he want to be or will be? And the question I should have ask before anything else: What is his name.

Also what will be the gender of the child because i say he but if the child really comes from Twig and Ark he can be anything in a way (like, they could be a boy or a girl from Twig but they also can be a neutral gender from Ark)-

Personally, i imagined the idea of the child having similar power and physical body as Ark but with some feature of Twig. They could control the few powers they have of Ark perfectly without trying (they even could be able to not put people around them in nightmares when they fall asleep) but would easily lose control over their negative emotions (Anxiety, Sadness, Anger, Fear, etc...) especially with their personality near of the one of Twig (or even worst than Twig on some point).

It’s always a treat to receive your asks and see all of your ideas and perspectives… also I will regularly open my inbox to plan my next posts and see your reminders to actually take care of myself and always go “OH SHOOT I HAVEN’T EATEN YET TODAY” and bolt into the kitchen to scarf down some leftovers, hehe.

First off: The baby is a girl! Ark proposes naming her Opal for absolutely no reason in particular, and Twig sees no reason to disagree with the name, so that’s what the baby is called from thereon. Pal and Pally are common derivatives used by Twig.

I’m working on a piece that will show how everyone will react to her, but it’s not ready yet, so I’ll just give a teaser: Celebi is completely blindsided by the baby’s appearance— she had no idea that something like that was going to happen in this timeline, and it’s a pretty big event to have missed whenever she peeked ahead in the timeline before now!

I haven’t decided entirely on what Opal’s personality will be as she ages, but for now, she’s pretty much your average baby— minus the crying. She is eerily quiet and barely vocalizes at all, to the point Twig gets worried about her learning to talk— and she promptly says her first full sentence immediately after. She’s very particular about food as well as material textures, and is prone to getting overwhelmed by bothersome sensory input, especially loud and clamorous noises. This isn’t something that she will grow out of, though she will collect a lot of strategies to help manage and minimize her overwhelm as she ages.

Hehe, the easy answer to this question is, I don't. I really don't keep up with any of this. I'm just constantly trying to stay afloat.

I have an inbox that is embarrassingly overflowing. Every one of those messages is someone who had a question or something they wanted to discuss, and their message fell into the abyss.

For every 20 asks I get, I might have time to answer one or two that I have the info ready at the top of my head, or that is easy to find the details on. True, some of the unanswered asks are of the sort I wouldn't be likely to respond to anyway (anti messages, repeats of things that I've already responded to, topics I don't want to discuss), but most are not in those categories.

I have a drafts folder that is similarly bursting at the seams, and a long list of posts that I've started and haven't gotten around to finishing. Bigger projects, some of which I have been picking away at for years. Reviews for dramas, films, songs, performances, etc. that haven't yet finished writing about (not to mention the dramas I'm not done watching!). Ask responses that are thousands of words long but not yet wrapped up. A masterlist post that is many months behind updating, and posts that are getting harder and harder to keep track of.

Lately I've been mainly updating with GG and DD's content - all the great photos and videos that only take a few minutes for me to post - and the occasional ask response.

It makes me really sad, to be honest. There's so much more that I want to share that I've been unable to. But I do what I can.

There are a couple of posts in particular that really mean a lot to me, that I've been unable to finish for various reasons - primarily lack of time and emotional/mental energy.

I also have to contend with my ND brain, which requires deep investment to keep a particular post going. I try to answer asks, for example, that I can easily answer in one sitting. If I have to go back to it later, it's often too difficult to find the thread of where I once was, or get back the momentum I had going.

I never give up on finishing something, though. Some things I'll probably never finish, but others I will definitely make a go of. With the holidays here I'm hoping to have more time to focus on my blog. I guess we'll see. 😅

Screw anxiety I'm a ask if ya want to be mutuals. Though if you don't care to follow me because my content isn't quite for you, that's fine, I'm happy with just commenting away on your stuff. Unless that gets annoying or what not, then tell me and I'll just quietly like stuff. I did just post a twst fanfic so that should hopefully give an idea of the type of content I intend to post.

I want to get into writing fanfiction as I want to try getting and understanding canon characters enough to write them. I'm not even going to try to grasp how to do 'x readers' since I don't think I could quite grasp it and I have more interest in writing my own character who I've been viewing as my mc while playing the game. I also want to draw for the fanfics I write but that will definitely slow my flow.

Hehe some original content! We’ve got different lighting and I actually tried something different with the header. I’m trying to stock up on notes and pictures so I can basically post more regularly so hopefully that will make things easier. These are some rewritten notes I made which are based on an interview practice I had with my friends! It’s kinda like a study group and we ask each other interview questions that we know Oxford have asked interviewees before. There’s more of a PPE focus since I’m the only one who wants to do law but it’s fine because it helps with my commercial awarenesss tbh.

Do you get on Facebook every day?  Yeah pretty much all throughout the day. I used to never use it, like never ever; but back in college all announcements were coursed through Facebook so I was technically required to be on it regularly, and it was from there that I began to see memes and start to be more active. I’m a shitposter more than anything though and I rarely ever post stuff of my own. How many FB friends do you have?  I have 679 at the moment but I want to get rid of like 500 of them; it’s just such a long list to go through so I never get to proceed with my unfriending spree lol.

Have you ever been on a deleting spree?  HAHA I just mentioned that. I’ve always wanted to, but like I said 679 is already such an exhaustive list for me, and that’s considering I only started touching my Facebook in like 2019. I can’t imagine people who started Facebook in like 2009 and have 4000 friends aka most people I know.

Have you blocked a lot of haters?  I don’t have haters; at least I’m not aware of any that I have. Not that it’s something I care about at this point.

Do you get bullied online a lot?  No, but that’s also because I don’t really open the channels for people to send in hate. I don’t have Q&A handles like Curious Cat and I never pick out that option in Instagram where people can send in questions.

What's your favorite Facebook app?  Oh I never use Facebook for their apps. Are those still even a thing...? Anyway, I mainly go there to be on the hunt for stupid memes I can reshare or to watch videos that are either funny or informative.

Are you a fan of selfies?  I don’t mind if other people do it, but I think I’m honestly bad at selfies so I almost never take them. I’ve never figured out my angles or what filters look ok on me.

Has anyone ever called the police on you because they didn't like your status?  No but I have had my posts reported because they were deemed ‘offensive.’ Which is weird because my posts that have been taken down are those that speak out against disgusting men, which says a lot about Facebook runs their shit more than anything else.

Are you in any facebook groups?  I’m in nearly a hundred groups, both private i.e. for school purposes, and public.

Are you the admin of any groups?  Nah. Too much time and effort needed out of me.

Do you report abuse to group admins whenever you see it?  Yes. I report the post then leave the group.

What could make Facebook better?  They could put more effort into detecting and banning troll farms.

What year did you start using Facebook?  I made an account in 2012 because of a high school class that required us to upload this specific video-format homework onto Facebook (which in hindsight is such an insensitive homework considering that was nearly a decade ago when the Philippines was still severely behind in internet connection speeds?? Ugh). But I didn’t start actively using my account until around two years ago.

What do you like to watch on YouTube?  These days YouTube serves as a stress reliever for me, which is to say I would typically go for humorous BTS-related compilations because there are sooooo many hilarious channels that make these great videos haha. Occasionally I’d go back to channels or series that I used to frequent, like Good Mythical Morning, Buzzfeed’s Worth It and Unsolved, Try Guys, Watcher, etc.

Which is honestly not always such a bad thing to me - I like that people are more themselves, more stripped-down, vulnerable on Twitter. People always seem to want to show off their best selves on Facebook and Instagram, so I’m actually kind of grateful that there is at least one social media out there where people can just be their clumsy, goofy selves.

How often do you tweet?  Probably a maximum of five a day. Nowadays I’m on there mostly to just scroll through my timelines.

Did you have a myspace when you were in high school?  I started an account in like 4th grade when Myspace was ~big, but I didn’t find it fun and everyone my age was on Friendster anyway, so I was largely inactive.

With a lack of a profound statement to start off this entry, I’ll just say this…my mind is as scattered and non-sensical as ever! What’s new?

Second coffee in, I’m thinking about, as the title suggests, a lot of things (with as much caffeinated enthusiasm as it suggests)! I definitely didn’t think I was going to be writing a post today because I thought yesterday’s entry [monday’s] was heavy enough that I could simmer and ponder over it for a while longer. But I guess, as things go, and because I naturally must write things down, I need to write everything that’s going on in my head right now - before I forget, but also so I can pRoCeSs it :)

I will definitely not get through everything I think I want to write about in this one post, and for the sake of keeping it short and still somewhat legible and engaging, I will try my best. Maybe I will do a part two (??). Hmmm maybe I won’t haha. We’ll see how this goes.

So as I was swinging my arms and getting a good stretch of the legs on our family “night” walk yesterday, Tali asked me, “did you have a good day today?”. It was a simple question and one I always answer with a “yeah kinda, did a few things, wish I did more, but tomorrow will be better!”. I like looking on the bright side, but it really got me thinking about what it means to be busy and how society has placed a lot of emphasis on it currently.

I recently read an article on It’s Nice That called, “You are More than Your Output”, which was an interesting read on this idea of “busyness”, the pressures on what we do for a living, self-definition from this and our relationship with work. Oosh, it was confronting and I definitely needed to discuss this with someone further. So of course I decided to send it to Gwen, Cullz and Paulz (there’s something so comforting and encouraging to know that I have people in my life who creatively challenge and most importantly, understand my journey as a creative, post-graduation).

Twas good discussions and what they said was so so good (got my brain juices flowing for sure), but I want to briefly touch on this topic and my thoughts about this…I love being busy, in fact, as I’ve mentioned before, I thrive off being busy. As bizarre as it sounds, I’m almost like an adrenaline junkie who gets off of busy schedules and long lists of TO-DOs. I like to ambitiously jam-pack my day with the most things I can do and “tick off” in ONE day. Sounds overwhelming and you’re probably thinking I’ll burn out eventually and I won’t always like this once I have a full-time job. But for now, I like that feeling. It makes me be and feel productive. And although I regularly remind my friends to take a break and relax in order to rejuvenate, I can’t seem to take this advice myself. I constantly feel like I’ve drunk five cups of coffee within 20 minutes, so my heart usually feels like it’s going to beat its way out of my chest, and my mind is so full, it’s almost incomprehensible and confusing.

Anyway, back to productivity…this feeling is probably the reason why I struggle with self-love a lot - if I’m not achieving everything on my list, I’m not being productive enough, it is not a “good day” and I’m not…“succeeding” in life. Which again, is all about MINDSET, people!

Yes, everything does comes with balance, prioritising and re-evaluating what’s the most important things in life at any given time. Sorry, but I feel like this entry will just raise more questions and half-baked thoughts (ha, managed to tick that off the list!), than actually solving anything.

I guess what I want to touch on here, is not so much on the debate about whether you should be busy or not, it’s more about dismantling these personal-constructs that we have in our minds…

Ahhh, another topic to elaborate on (solely) for another time I guess (…??).

Right now [tuesday, 2.40pm], my eldest sister sits on the La-Z-Boy, rocking back and forth trying to write a new idea for a new script. My dad too, sits facing the same way as her towards the ranch slider and garden, bowl of sweet mung bean soup in hand, relaxing in a foldable picnic chair for his “break”. I can’t help but smile at this scene and feel very happy and content in where I am right now. It also makes me chuckle at the contrast of their peaceful reflections with my scattered mind and furious typing. My frantic fingers almost echo in the quiet space that is my living room. I like this. I had only wanted to write one word down for this entry before I forgot it (then finish this piece tomorrow, when I felt like it), but here I am having written over one page long. I’m also not listening to music, which is rare for me as I like dwelling in the emotions and vibe of the music while I write - it helps me as you know by now. But in this moment, it’s just Tema, my dad, me, my typing and my silent scattered thoughts.

Back to the point…the mere act of typing furiously on my keyboard (ooh links!) actually makes me feel busy and definitely makes me look busy. When someone says, “oh Alyssa, you’re always so busy” or “bro, when are YOU free?”, it kind of makes me feel good - that I’m somehow “succeeding” in life because I actually have things to do. But isn’t it all superficial and just an appearance? Because in my mind, I’m not achieving as much as I want to do within a day or week. Anyway, maybe that’s why a lot of people, even myself, give into this idea of busyness - because we’re fed this belief that to be “successful”, means that we not only occupy ourselves to the max, but we look the part too. That’s apparent in any bustling city, like Auckland, or London and Paris. People are constantly moving and doing things. These cities never sleep and apparently that idea means those cities and people are thriving and being “successful”.

I guess another aspect I want to discuss is the idea of efficiency. For some reason, that word is so mockable, but maybe that’s just because my boyfriend uses that word excessively and I like to laugh at him (because he’s silly, not because I’m a bully, woah, CHILL). So to be busy, and therefore “successful” is also associated with being efficient. Which also relates to B, who applies lip balm VERY STRANGELY, but efficiently…he applies it by swiping the stick across his top and bottom lip at the same time, followed by a giddy “EFFICIENCY G!��� EVERY. TIME. This is quite like the idea of “killing two birds with one stone”. The idea of doing the most you can and preferably at the same time in order to optimise time. It also links with the saying, “time is of the essence”. Because we have such a limited time on Earth, people feel like they have to fill everyday and every waking hour doing something - or else we feel unproductive and ultimately a “failure”. I’m not saying everyone feels like this (I do), or that efficiency is stupid and entirely negative. I think it’s entirely individual and lies within our perceptions of the things we actually do and hope to do. Everything is relative (??).

Which brings me to the subject of procrastination. For example, in the span it has taken me to write this blog post, I’ve made myself a bowl of plain porridge for my late 2pm lunch (oop photo reference - twas really nice actually), a toastie with salami, sweet thai chilli sauce, harissa sauce and a lot of pepper (odd mix I know), which I had at 4pm, but now consider as my dinner coz now I’m stuffeddddd. I’ve also made hummus (which I think I want to write about next - there’s a metaphor in there that I want to exploit lol) for the fam, folded all of the whites and made the cinnamon apple filling for Tema and I’s mini pies. Talk about procrastination…see here, maybe this isn’t “procrastination”!

The issue lies in how we prioritise and give importance to certain things in our life. And in this case, I’m still being “busy”, but my perception of what I’ve done is that these are menial tasks - they are of lesser importance and priority compared to other things on my to-do list. Again, it is all relative. This comparison between certain things we do is what makes us fall into this trap of self-punishment and “failure” (again, maybe it’s just me). So when we do the thing that seems less important, we consequently feel unproductive . But I had been meaning to make hummus since last week, and I intended to eat lunch at 12.30pm, but got too busy looking through some design concepts for my friend, AND I was meant to fold the whites so my dad could have a clean set of singlets for this week. And lol, I wanted to make pie filling because we all craved something sweet (can’t we just do things just coz?). Looking over these, all of them are important! But why do we prioritise our jobs as so and essentially, degrade our life choices??!

Okay, I think I’m going to wrap this up because there’s no point to this entry anymore. But it was interesting to type out all these random thoughts and somehow try to weave them together. But as always, this is just a ramble. You're confused, I’m confused, we’re ALL confused.

(Or maybe I wanted to see whether you could keep up with my 100 mph train of thoughts hehe)

So to tie everything up in a big, definitely-not-an-indecisive-red-or-maybe-blue-nah-feelin-green-now-BOW…be busy, don’t be busy. Procrastinate, don’t procrastinate. BUT, be kinder to yourself. You don’t have to be busy nor productive - give yourself some slack, you’re doing the best you can! So practice SeLf-LoVe.

You owe yourself thatttt much :)

p.s. I think this post was more me procrastinating about writing and posting, because clearly, I took my time procrastinating and eventually posting three days later than when I first wrote this.

Hey, Annie, I just saw the diary post. I don't know if my advice will really change much, I'm younger than you by quite a few years, but I'll try <3

I know this site can be draining, I'm a content creator myself (I write fanfics lol). And even when I convince myself that I write for myself, and not for notes, I can't help checking the damned post every two minutes for them. Most, if not all of us, crave that validation subconsciously. Don't feel bad for it, love. You work hard on your gifs and wanting recognition for it is not a bad thing! I've been following you for quite a while now, and your gifs are always exceptionally pretty. I've grown attached to them, as well as your blog.

This site makes us all feel so toxic for facing common negative emotions. I have friends i know in real life on this site, and sometimes, though I try not to, I can't help comparing myself to them. It makes me feel like I'm being arrogant, pretending to be superior to them. So I used to push it down till I couldn't anymore. But that didn't work for me.

The best thing you can do is take breaks whenever it gets overwhelming. Long ones, short ones, whichever you prefer. You can still come onto the site, just wander around without reblogging anything or talking to anyone. You can even make a side blog, just for the things that calm you down or make you feel at peace. Somewhere you can just reblog cute little cat drawings lol. I know that you have friends on this site, and you talk to them often, if not regularly. Chances are that they are not actually tired of you. Of course, that doesn't really dissolve the fear that they might be, but trust me, you're not annoying in the slightest.

Lastly, you're not a bother. You earned all your friends, and followers. You have every right to talk about things that cause you trouble. You're worth damn much, and are so precious - and I'm sure people understand that. So, take your time, don't rush, and we're here if you need to talk to someone <333

Oh love, where to start... Firstly, thank you for your sweet compliments on my gifs, it always makes my heart beat a little faster, hearing that someone enjoys my content. It's so interesting (and also kind of relieving?) to hear that you as a writer experience similar inner struggles when it comes to notes and all that. There must go hours and hours into your works too, writing must be so time-consuming. Making up the plot itself, then putting it into a coherent storyline, then maybe beta'ing plus formatting the post and maybe making a header and a tag list...phew, I can only imagine. This is so much work and of course it's disappointing when you don't get the feedback you hoped for. Same goes for me, and it's always especially devastating when it's a work of yours that you really, really love yourself. It can make me really insecure you know? It makes me question my own perception, taste and abilities. So a major thing I have to get sorted out is to stop seeking all that validation from what I post on tumblr and more importantly from others, especially strangers, in general. It needs to come more from within, but that's certainly a hard one.

Hm, I think the second part of your message is rather the crucial point of my original "rant" ... I know that you have friends on this site, and you talk to them often, if not regularly. Chances are that they are not actually tired of you. This part freaks me out so much, it's insane. I can't be sure of that... I'm absolutely terrible when it comes to chatting, I closed my direct messages for people I don't follow because I can't even properly talk to my mutuals and it's making me feel like the biggest a**hole there is. Yes I do love sending and answering asks, but those conversations always seem so superficial. I see mutuals of mine having discord chats with each other, talking every day, and I feel like such a loser and bad friend for not being able to do such simple and fun things. I try to put all my love in tags and asks but most of the time that doesn't really seem enough to build proper bonds with people I really, really adore. I don't know, I just feel so guilty for leaving people high and dry.... and it makes me not want to call the people I've met on here friends anymore to distance myself from the bad conscience. I don't think that makes sense but not a lot does in my head lately. I'm just genuinely scared that people I like so much stop liking me because of what I do or rather not do. Actually, this seemed to have happened already, so it's not even a totally unreasonable fear.

Thank you for the reassurance, dear. I put my life story out here like every second day haha, I'm sure there're many people that think something like "what is this girl doing, sharing all her misery on her bts blog" lmao, but hey it is my safe space and it really helps to write things down and talk about it with others.

Lastly, I wanna say your last two paragraphs right back at you. It's unbelievable that you sent me that ask, your heart must be the size of an elephant (how tall are you?). You really managed to make me feel better about myself, to comfort me and want to get better. Hi everyone! It’s been a long time since my last original post here. Now my phone is ok again so I can post regularly (or at least I’ll try hehe).
