☆ I'm alive I swear Ya'll, Been rly busy with a new job and fighting general creative blocks.

But back to post the SOTW pieces I did for this week!!! The first one I did courtesy of a few friends, The second because of mainly the lovely @annonymoustea pressed the bog red buzzer too many times that I deffo had to draw her and I had so much fun doing it.

my forgetful nexus au

Forgetful nexus au is basically where the dark star power makes his brain all funky and makes it so that he forgets big parts in his life and mixing memories with other memories so he doesn't know what happened when and with who, like when he FIRST became nexus (like before he died) he hated them BUT he didn't know why and only had very vague memories of them and what happened but he wasn't exactly sure. And when he woke up he didn't even know who he was, only knowing his name and again having very vague memories (mainly about earth and sun) but his memory is much worse since he was barely even himself. He still "hated" them BUT he didn't know why and he was much less motivated to really do anything and he since he was basically regressing to his old self he started to feel empathy (soooo weird) for them and wanted to be part of the family again because the only memories he DOES know is when he, earth and sun watched a movie and made jokes to make sun feel better and he wanted that back. When sun was gonna send him to the other dimension nexus decided to just completely say EVERYTHING he truly felt like what he wanted and how much he doesn't remember anything to the point where he doesnt even know who he is and Sun decided to bring him home because he felt that he was being sincere and believed him BUT moon was not happy because he didn't trust him at ALL and scolded sun but decided to give it a shot simce he had ways to defend him and his family if nexus tried anything but nexus's memory just started to get worse and worse, he would be a completely different person at times since he would forget who he is and mirror others as a way to try and build his own personality when he would just forget it and have to start all over again and solar tries his best to help him since sun doesn't know how to and and moon doesn't want to

Welcome to the Ecliptic Ring, where the Astrals reside (Fan-made astral world building)

The map you see above is an hour-long sketch of the Ecliptic Ring. Where most astrals reside. Each astral has their own floating island domain that acts as a sort of "state." These domains have varying geology, foliage, and civilizations, built around their astral leader.

Central city is where The Great Courthouse is located. I don't think I need to explain what it's for. Central city's population is a mish-mash of many different alien and astral species. It is extremely crowded for a city, due to the fact that one does not have to worship or prove loyalty to a court astral to live there. This can sometimes cause chaos or rebellious actions towards the astral rules, with the main example being "The Underbelly." A black market type place located within the abandoned mines under Central City.

Some observant eyes might have noticed how bare the map actually is. I have not explored every nook and cranny yet, not on foot, and neither in my mind. I invite you as we explore the Ecliptic Ring together, figuring out its mysteries and culture.
