This theme is intended to be my attempt at a bit of a bridge between fanfic writers and the world of interactive fiction; giving the familiar comfort of Archive of our Own with the freedoms and customization of Twine.

For transparency: I did attempt to use Ch/at/GP/T as a troubleshooter for issues I couldn't find on forums. However, with the harm is causes for both creatives and the environment, its utter uselessness was just the final nail in my decision and I won't be attempting it again. I discourage anyone from trying to use Ch/at/GP/T-- especially when trying to learn something new, as it will dump a load of hot garbage on your plate and insists it works perfectly fine

Been sketching the twins a bit lately, doing loose concepts (I get a lot of my inspiration this way), and a few of them hit harder than expected so now I'm just sitting here staring at my tablet like...

Sadly, I cannot post any of those sketches here because of spoilers. But it made me excited for future scenes again, which means I've been working on the demo with renewed enthusiasm today!

There is a new release date but I'm NOT going to announce it until I'm 110% positive I'll have enough of my edits finished by then. I say "enough" because perfection is the enemy of progress.

I saw the last two asks about the MCs and wanted to throw in my own appreciation. Although the multiple routes are more work, it’s a testament to your writing that different audiences are attracted to each MC!

Me personally, I came and stayed for Zealot MC because I’m religious and rarely come across ifs where you can play as a religious character with their beliefs are meaningfully incorporated into the story (shout out to The Golden Rose’s MC!). What I’m most looking forward to is seeing her growth and how she will affect the guys and vice versa, especially because they all seem be strong willed/already rather set in their ways (the romance is a huge cherry on top, probably a hot take I know XD).

That's so lovely to hear! I was curious if Bride of Shadows would appeal to both religious and irreligious readers. I try to write it from the angle of exposing the hypocrisy in the Elodari faith (which is based primarily on ancient Roman polytheism) while also not painting it with a broad "religion bad" brush. I'll have to check out The Golden Rose!

I really look forward to seeing how the Zealot evolves, both in her piety and in her relationship with Serax and Valdricht. They're definitely super set in their ways and it's so exciting to see how she shakes up their dynamic.

i'm glad you enjoyed the demo🥹 as for your question, the masks part was more related to the other performers and acts in the show.

i've never really thought of giving the choice for MC to wear a mask too since it would get a bit confusing, and MC already covers at least some of their face with either veils or bandages. but maybe i can let MC decorate those somehow? like a doll-themed veil/bandage as an example :O

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you were planning on adding percentages to the stats and relationship sliders in the game? I'm a bit color blind and it's almost impossible for me to properly see what my stats are. I've always appreciated percentages in IFs because then I know my stats even if I can't see the colors properly.

It's fine if you don't wanna add it in, I have no idea how hard it is to code, but it would be very appreciated.

I’ve been wanting to do a revamp of some of the visuals, and though a larger update is a longer way out, quality of life stuff like this should be the most important thing to do so never hesitate asking about it!

I’ve adjusted the colors on the stats to make them a lot more apparent now, so hopefully that should help, and due to some really helpful direction, percentages should be up and running too! Opposing stats look verrry funky right now, but it’s just a formatting issue and hopefully whenever I overhaul things it’ll look better- but it should all be working! Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention! If there’s anything else that arises please let me know I appreciate you <3

Well, it's about that time again...and I think everyone came in yesterday, because it got really busy. But today's all rainy and 60 degrees F outside, and that's right about where it'll stay most of the day, per the forecast. Personally, I'd like that, I like cool weather, and rain is probably a bigger deal to my scooter(s) than to me. Oh, yeah, that! My new scooter arrived in the mail yesterday! Which is really, really weird, because I was told to expect it next week! I never got an email like "hey, update, your order's coming much much sooner" or even "oh, item delivered, did you get it, how'd you like it", which I could've sworn I usually get the latter. So again, I had trouble where it just got left with the neighbors. Now, they were kind enough to bring it over to my apartment, but I still would've vastly preferred that it was delivered to the proper place in the first place. Uh, which is on me a little bit, because I didn't leave the mud room unlocked and the interior front door locked, like I would have if I'd known it was coming. Why is it this difficult? I understand warehouse space is only so big, but...like, this attitude and this push toward "fastest possible delivery" is kind of awful and stupid and the wrong way to go about it. I would much rather have the opportunity to be handed a date input box that opens up a little calendar, and be able to pick which day the item is delivered, and know with almost complete certainty that that's the day to expect it. Maybe I'm just in a weird spot because I work all five weekdays, and I have a bit of a history with deliveries addressed to me being left in the wrong place and then subsequently stolen. But I would still prefer a dependable delivery date over a fastest possible delivery date...
