Ramble under the cut <3

Memory is a paradoxically social hermit. His job takes him to ruined worlds, blue strings wrapping around the remnants of code and paint splattered across the floor. He plucks a feather from his wings and dips the tip into the paint; waste not want not after all. He documents the story this place once held. As he reaches the end, closes the book, the space that once held the echoes of an au fades away.

He finds himself no longer in the antivoid of the dead au but in one of his own when he comes to. His library. He shelves the book away, and makes his way out from amongst the towering shelves.

Omen wakes up. Their head is swirling, they feel sick, this wasn't a player reset and they know it. They sort through their new memories, not even their name stayed the same this draft, but they can't remember their old one.

Their bones are weak as they get up from bed. When they look out their window they're greeted with Snowdin, empty of people, but more alive than the colorless white void they beheld last time they woke up. They step out of their to greet Papyrus, wondering if he'll be as flat and characterless as the last draft.

(Feel free to send question to/about these fellas, answers will be slow since the main focus rn is His Soul Purpose but they've got a story to tell and I'm excited to tell it ahahah.)
