Sorry chat I’ve failed at my own mission. Not happening this month but soon enough, just need more time to cook since school is being so difficult currently. How dare Shakespeare try and keep me away from animating crazy T.V blorbo—this ain’t playing fair 😔

fixed a bunch of weirdly translated lines and reworded them to be closer to the original japanese dialogue

added translations for almost nearly every visible word on screen

included the lyrics from gimme gimme and shinon for added viewing experience

download the subtitle file here! to view the subs, first open ur movie file (which if u dont have then definitely dont click here) in vlc player, then go to subtitles -> add subtitle file -> select the movie_subs file and there u have it. and if theres any issues with downloading the file, displaying the subs, the syncing w video etc etc pls lemme know :0 alright im skittering away again

As a reminder, this fic is rated M! While several chapters could pass for T, this is one of the ones that is solidly M.

If there's one song I see as the CaitVi anthem here -- just really fitting the messy intensity of their relationship so far, and the culmination of the conflict between them -- it's "Drumming Song" by Florence + The Machine. Hence the chapter title!

I consider this chapter in some ways to be the emotional climax of Part 1. While the plot climax will also be emotional (and of course extends from the setup so far), this one is all about the emotional core.

Now is a great time to get caught up if you want to follow along for the conclusion of Part 1! I've been very excited to get to this point, but I am even more so for what's in store. (All right, that's enough of my vague ranting!)

trying to make bg3 work for me today got me like

#the bg3 adventures #i ain't touching that shit for a year i s2g #whatever they mixed into that patch 7 sauce it got everywhere #on my saves on my mods on my load orders #i downgraded to patch 6 that didn't do dick (my mods would just not appear in the game no matter what)#so i figured imma put my big girl pants on and tackle every challenge that patch 7 + mods has to offer #let me tell you how i spent 3 hours mud-wrestling the bg3 executable #only to go back home crying covered in shit head-to-toe #and yes i've reinstalled bg3mm and the SE and deleted and reloaded and restarted and updated the mods that had newer versions #it's just the built-in mod manager is an absolute nightmare to fucking work with #the back-and-forth between the mod manager the menu the saves the mod page while loading the saves #the random mods showing up that are not even in the mod folder/??? i'm-#and then some other mods showing up like... 20 times? dsdfdsf #yeah nah take me back to the peaceful pre-patch days #when i could just load in play around with pretty dresses then spend 2 hours taking pics or game footage #anyway where was i? ah yes period crying at my desk before any of this sdfdsfgfdg #maybe i should log off and just go write #yea

Getting the sense the other engineers who were concerned my job was too big for one person are very correct.

#this week: So go get the new line up and running 😁#this week actually: So the other Old line is falling apart and you need to be there to constantly plug the numerous holes #as it tries to fall apart around us #the upside is the new line is apparently not ready for set-up because the maintenance folks are also swamped #but a different tool finally came in so its not like i dont have another big project that i dont have time for!#meanwhile: Documents need updates and the back needs cleaning before the audit #and the whole place needs some serious maintenance/cleaning because its not had even One engineer dedicated to it for the last 5+ years #correction. it has 3 engineers none of whom lasted a year or had overlap #and when we Actually start running the second site? driving back and forth screaming the whole time #and of course QA has been auditing us for the last week which is there JOB I UNDERSTAND OKAY #THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME FIND THE GAPS THAT I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO FIX #i can do the 18 little things that pop up every hour or make an inch of progress on the big projects #WHY DID THE LAST ENGINEER NOT THINK ABOUT HOW WE WERE GOING TO ACTUALLY MAKE THE BATHS WHY-#anyway im stressed #but i have a trial ballet class tonight #deep breath its going to be alright
