OH HELLO THERE 

With Rebirth out officially for a few months now I'm posting some of my initial rambling feelings about Reeve and Rebirth

Guess who's back on my bullshit (as if I ever got off it) 

I have so many thoughts about the scene with Reeve in his office, but I'll start with the broad strokes: 

Cait Sith makes Reeve SO happy! To the point of being commented on by his Secretary  Assistant (ugh, why could the translation team not be consistent about that moniker, I do NOT want to have to relabel all my fics and the tag) 

This scene further cements my earnest belief that Reeve is incredibly close (dare I say, intimate???) with his secretary. I've mused previously that they had to have been, and that she is likely as close a "right hand" as he has (given that he plainly stated it was Shinra that was responsible for the plate fall right in front of her) 

Seriously, not only is Cait Sith out in the open for her to see, but Reeve's comment to her "it's been productive" while nodding toward his screen is enough implication for me to assume he's told her he's on special assignment from the Turks 

Which then of course is further supported when Tseng himself shows up. I laughed at her reaction – she scoffed(!) in his face before giving a commiserating look toward Reeve. Clearly he's told her that he's under the Turks' thumb currently (and of course, her previous knowledge of the plate fall would also further enhance her dislike toward Tseng) 

I cannot emphasize enough how tickled I am that I've written about her antagonism towards Tseng and here it is canonized 

Speaking of antagonism toward Tseng – wow, that interaction between him and Reeve! I can't help but speculate how much of Rufus' words burn in Reeve here – after all, Rufus had the gall to ask why none of the Directors "stopped" his father from dropping the plate. There has got to be a part of Reeve that chafes at that, right? Especially since he DID speak up! Hell, he even sent Cait Sith and he was ready to throw down against Reno and Rude, because at the end of the day, Rufus/Tseng chose to have the Turks press the button instead of intervening against the President at that moment. So when Tseng drops by Reeve's office and smirks, that has to sting, right? 

Also, can we appreciate that the only reason Tseng stops in is likely because Rude called saying "somehow we lost our reservations" and you know Tseng instantly clocked it to Reeve enjoying the ability to torment his colleagues 

Other thoughts 

Does Shinra know that Reeve sent a second Cait Sith? 

The Turks saw CS go into the temple as it was being destroyed. It would be quite simple for him to say he was destroyed trying to help the group escape but that they wouldn't accept a second him back

Okay, am I crazy or was Secretary was totally flirting? She seemed super smiley, and she even did the head tilt.  

Reeve was equally smooth in his response to her; his tone of voice, the smile, the hesitation after where it seemed he wanted to say more but instead he just smiled – ooooh wow 

It seemed like they both wanted to say *something* else to each other 

I totally got the impression here they’ve hooked up in the office after a late night before 

Where would the conversation have gone if Tseng hadn't shown up right then? Reeve clearly was done for the day (all his monitors were off). Secretary didn't have any reports for him. She was just stopping by, and wow was she disappointed when they were interrupted.

I was going to ask you for Tseng for that meme if you hadn't gotten it before I woke up this morning, but I see you already got to it. XD How about Reeve?

Ah, Reeve. I apologise in advance to any Reeve fans who read this and find my headcanons clash hideously with their own. Sorry about that. Reeve has long filled a very specific niche in my fanfic biome and I can't really think of him any other way. I really, really like him as a character, but I don't think he is a particularly good person - or at least, not nearly as morally upright as he thinks he is.

Sexuality headcanon: straight

Gender headcanon: man

A ship I have with this character: A lot of people in Shinra are married to their work and Reeve is the most marriedest of all. Reeve/UrbDev anyone? Reeve/Midgar? He's commitment phobic because he dislikes the prospect that someone or something other than work might have a legit claim on his time and attention. But Urban Development IS Reeve, so Reeve/UrbDev is really just Reeve/Reeve. Seems right, somehow.

He and his nice Remake assistant had a fling some years back, when she was new in the office and crushing on her Director because, really, he's very handsome, and he seemed like a sweet absent-minded genius who needed a woman to take care of him. Plus, there's something incredibly sexy about a powerful man noticing that you seem a bit tired and going into the kitchen to make you coffee. It was all a bit Mills&Boonish. Then she grew up and got wiser and got married to a really decent bloke and had a couple of kids, but she can't get out of the habit of looking after Reeve. He still needs it. She wishes he could find a wife.

A BROTP I have with this character: Veld. Veld knows exactly which of Reeve's levers to nudge. Reeve never realises he's being manipulated. But Veld also genuinely likes Reeve, partly because Reeve is genuinely passionate about making Midgar a better place for everyone to live in, and partly because Veld can see Reeve is a man who sincerely cares about doing the right thing - even if he doesn't always know what the right thing is.

A NOTP I have with this character: I really don't know. I never see him as a romantic lead.

A random headcanon: He never learned how to drive. By the time he could afford a car, he could also afford a driver.

Honestly, how was he supposed to break the ice? Reeve had his assistant Rita of whom which he trusted very much and with so many different pieces of information. Someone within Shinra that he was actually able to speak with candidly (often to her chagrin and chastising) about the going on’s about the the place; especially his sentiments on certain people. The young woman knew a lot about what he did and how he liked things done but, there was just one thing about him that Miss Rita had not been privy to yet. Cait Sith.

How was this going to actually go over? She knew that he had a hobby with robotics but, was entirely unaware just how far that particular skill set went. Or that he had somehow crafted a robot that was practically life-like due to a very rare ability that Reeve came to find was called ‘Inspire.’ All information that the executive felt a bit trepidation in relaying to her only because, well, would she believe that part about the power? Reeve himself had barely believed it in all honesty but, here he was sitting at his favorite burger place waiting for the young woman to show up at the appointed time.

At some point, Melissa founded out who Rita’s grandfather was - and just who he was working for, too. But while this realization may have led to the madame no longer needing to meet up with Rita, she didn’t really see the other woman as an intermediary - she was from Shinra, after all. She was resourceful, and she held her ground just fine while her grandfather used her as the middlewoman.

So even when they do not need to pretend they’re longtime friends for the sake of the public - they actually befriend each other. Rita has a strategic position within Shinra, sure, but she’s also a very interesting woman and Melissa just can’t let a connection like this go to waste.

To her inquiry the boy gives a hard nod, almost jumpy at the thought of being able to speak to the wife of the one he considered a friend and maybe even something much more familial than what he let on. Her knowing his name was already an honor for him.

Yet, when she corrects him, he can’t help but seem confused, tilting his head as she denies what he thought was a clear fact. “Oh... just his assistant? That’s strange...” he said in a low tone, mainly to himself. “I- I apologize, I did not mean to assume. I actually thought it to be true.” a small pout in embarrassment as he gave a small bow in apology. 

Quickly after, he attended the next question she postulated for him, standing straight. “Well... You are very close to Mr. Tuesti. He speaks of you more often than not and, normally, you hang out all alone in the office, as adult couples do. So, I thought... it had to mean that you are a couple that can have that type of intimacy without problems, while also being efficient with their work.” he smiled a bit at the thought of her taking care of the hardworking Reeve, as she always seemed to do. Though he had watched from afar, he could tell - or assume - that she really worried about him. 

“Plus, you keep him in check. He listens to your suggestions, even when he is not thoroughly convinced or doesn’t really feel like going through with them.” Another second went by and he crossed his arms, staring with a more serious look. A more important question popped up.

“Miss, would you not want to be Mr. Tuesti’s wife, someday?”

♦ What's an AU that you've always wanted? Every once in awhile I am seized with a tremendous urged to see Elena pilot a giant robot. Some scenario with the space politics of Gundam, the existential anguish of Evangelion, and the emotional core of Gunbuster would be nearly the ultimate flight of fancy. On a less interstellar level, I think it would be really lovely to have an AU verse where Elena isn't a rookie at the time of the original game just for indulgence's sake. It gets old having to limit her to the rigid confines of being the baby, and I'd grown to really resent that because there are fewer avenues to interact with others because she is so poorly integrated.

⚜ What is the best time to write for you? Why? Usually at around 2am the writing brain juice hits. Alas, I try to be in bed by then. By the morning the motivation vanishes and it's very inconvenient. I have no idea why the middle of the night seems to be such a great time to get ideas, and I'm inclined to think it's just my internal clock being a contrary little shit.

☺ What's a character that you desperately want your muse to play with? Why? I don't think this is going to happen anytime soon, but at some point Elena should probably sort her shit out with her sister. That dynamic is just so fraught with tension that'd I'd love to see it explored, but I can count the number of Gun roleplayers I have seen on a single hand...and in the absence of having a soundboard, my own personal perceptions about their relationship had spun out into wildly unavailable territory. I doubt I'd ever run into someone of the same mind, so I guess that interaction will remain something to be drabbled out solo.

Well he’s had no complaints so far? So that’s a probable yes - not because he’s wildly experienced though. He is responsive however, that seems to help. 

13. Where is your muse most sensitive?

Hands, don’t let him meet Madam M please. 

Stomach, he’s oddly sensitive to light touches on his stomach. However it is quite ticklish for him too, so might accidentally lash out if taken by surprise. 

Hair / Scalp, it’s not overly sensitive as such but it’s a definite yes to those he lets play with his hair (or scratch his scalp or tug his hair, you get the picture).

15. Would your muse ever tempt their partner, e.g. flirting, wearing tight/sexy clothing?

Absolutely - if he felt comfortable enough and they were at that level. How successful he is at it? Well, that’s an entirely different matter. 

16. Does your muse initiate heated/sexual contact, or do they wait for their partner?

Depends on the circumstance and the person. He can certainly initiate but he requires a level of communication and consent to do so. Often throughout too.

Sunrise is easily Aerith’s favourite time of the day. That little cusp just before dawn specifically, when everything is calm and quiet and still. It’s when the flowers wake up and when everything is suddenly vibrantly more alive. The church in particular, is her favourite place to watch them - just because light pouring in through the windows leaves little kaleidoscope patterns on everything, and she’s a total sucker for colours, even more so when they’re a unique refraction everyday. It’s a bit like having a daily gift; something fleeting that still serves as a small but innocuous moment of joy.

They also appeal to her internal sense of philosophy.  That no matter how dark the night can be, no matter how grave and hopeless, - the sun still rises & the world still turns. It’s the one constant in all the chaos. ( Plus they’re pretty.)

5 THINGS YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER/s.

I have a bunch of characters, so I’ll give you one thing for 5 of them instead!

ONE Let’s start with my boy Zack. I like a lot about him, but one thing I really like is his optimism and his faith in people and the good in the world. That’s very not me, so I guess I find it inspiring to see someone who manages to remain so positive and driven despite all the bad things that happen to him. (I also really like how he approaches people, his kindness and contagious joy about life which makes him so hard to dislike, I’d argue.)

TWO Next up is Johnny, one of my latest muses. There’s a lot about him that I don’t know from canon and also a lot I haven’t hc’d about him yet, but from the things I have seen/decided on what I like the most is how genuine he is. He’s kind of a dumb dumb, but he is not a bad guy. He doesn’t do bad things just because he can, he’s even pretty outspoken about not doing them. He might be annoying Tifa with his love confessions, but he isn’t pushing himself on her, doesn’t touch her or ask inappropriate things. He will help you if you ask him, even if you’re not super close friends (AFTERWARDS you’ll be his friend tho, whether you want to or not u.u). He says what he thinks and he isn’t fake or lies.

THREE What I like about Rufus is that he really has a lot of shit happen to him, actually, but doesn’t give up. Of course he’s a spoiled rich bitch and he pulls a lot of shit himself, but still. He has the worst father in this entire franchise I’d argue, he almost dies a few times, he works hard for world domination and ends up with a lot of nothing in AC. Still he seems as sure as ever in AC and doesn’t break down or gives up. He still wants things and goes after them, and that strength is really admirable. (Detached from his actual goals lol).

FOUR I like Angeal because he’s so honorable it’s almost annoying. But every good story needs a guy like that; someone you roll your eyes at sometimes but at the same time wish you had around in real life. He’s a really good guy, he struggles but tries to be the best version of himself. He’s a tragedy because of it, but that’s part of what makes it so special.

FIVE I like Rude (my version of him, I suppose) for being steadfast, in who he is and what he wants. Sure, he also has days where he struggles with what he and Reno are asked to do for the company, but overall he isn’t a man plagued by doubt. He is confident in himself and stands by his values and opinions, and in that sense it’s not easy to unsettle him. Also, he has a big heart and he doesn’t think letting it guide his actions is a sign of weakness.

5 PEOPLE ON HERE YOU LOVE, AND WHY.

that’s really rough. i might mention some more okay?

ONE one of the first people i found on here and thoroughly fell in love with is @rcdwrxck. kay is just amazing. she’s funny and smart, great to talk to, great to plot with, write with, ship with. she is kind and caring and genuine. she has the floofiest dog in existence and i wish every day i could pet him. she’s also a huuuuge reno x rude shipper, who would have thought? heheheheehEHEHEHEHhhehhe. ---but seriously, kay you’re so precious, i’m keeping you forever. and i adore your reno and our threads and i’m not letting you go again. <33

TWO obligatory mention of course is @dogof-war. han is very high on the list of people i talk to the most in this fandom (if not THE person i talk to the most). talking to her is a blast, i have a lot of fun and i’m always happy to see messages from her. we keep plotting new nonsense all the time and all of it is quality shit 👌 her writing is swell and her portrayal of heidegger is really unique and wonderful. i was super intimidated by her when i first made this blog and followed, but now that we’re friends i find it hard to remember how that felt. i really appreciate her for just saying what she thinks relatively unfiltered, for indulging my weirder kinks and interests in rp (like the best ship in history rufus x heidegger, go home if you can’t handle it), and for occasionally salting with me about this and that. <33

THREE another person i talk to a lot (tho not as much as we used to) is @solnyeo / @persephina. first of all panda’s writing is incredible - the feeling and detail that go into it blow my mind *chef’s kiss*. secondly, panda is such a lovely person. full of creativity and kindness and always giving out positive energy for everyone. (i often get some sad vibes from you and i wish i knew how to cheer you up, but i hope you know i’m always around if you want to talk to me :) ) panda is so amazing to plot with. every little idea we share hatches into some beautiful butterfly of a story (that we end up not writing but--) and it’s pure joy to imagine worlds together :) aerith or not, i absolutely love seeing them around on my dash (& hopefully writing with them again soon). <33

FOUR another gem i have to mention is mari, @stingslikeabee. i don’t often bond so easily with ocs on tumblr but mari is a godsend. not only is her character amazing, well-developed, and fitting beautifully into the story; mari also manages to continuously blow me away with fabulous verse ideas, drabbles, meme or regular replies. she’s so creative and such a great writer - and on top of that a really kind, funny, genuine, caring, special person. the internet is a dark place full of weirdos and creeps but sometimes in this sea of coals you find pure gold and that’s mari. i’m really glad we found each other and i enjoy talking to her so much <33

FIVE of course i also have to mention @giftofthegodess because !!! i love rave. such an amazing genesis. an absolute highlight to plot with, full of creative ideas and beautiful headcanons. also sharing my hobby of making rare pairs, apparently, hehehe. also a fellow bts fan now, HEHEHHE. talking to rave is just so.. easy. they’re chill, funny, active, laid-back, and full of passions and thoughts they love to share. also enjoy throwing people under the bus by calling them out with discord screenshots. ���� i feel really lucky to have met them in this fandom and i really love our ships and hope to see them going far <33

SIX I want an honorary mention for @hiislegacy because they’re one of my fave writers in this fandom. We don’t talk that often but it’s always fun when we do. I just feel like we’re on the same wavelength, and we’re both kinda old-school in our views on ships and writing and fanfics and such? Also they portray any muse they set their mind on really really really amazingly well. Love <33

SEVEN another person i appreciate immensely on here is @lifedxbt. they write a lot of muses but the one i interact with the most is definitely tseng. i really enjoy the way they write him, the continuity in their portrayal, their endless headcanons that keep giving this character more depth - and are so good it’s hard to remember that they’re not actually canon facts from the game. they’re one of the few people i even read some threads of that i’m not part of. they’re just hella amazing and i hope we get to write more in the future :)

EIGHT + some other people I adore and want to mention: @presidentiial (first of all thank you for this meme game, second of all you’re so kind and lovely like.. ALWAYS, i appreciate you a ton; and i always admire the effort and passion you put into your muses and blogs, you’re truly someone to look up to), @hautevaux (another oc in this fandom that’s just so well established and developed it’s easy to forget vaux isn’t a canon character; your writing is wonderful and somehow you manage to turn every situation and thread into something special with your magic tailor dust), @sweettifalockhart (we don’t talk as much as we should but i want you to know that i think very highly of you; i think your writing is next level, and you’re a joy to plot and write with), @devilreno (i sometimes feel like we’re those two people who kinda know each other from accidentally running into each other in the street, and we greet each other and cheer at each other from a bit of a distance but never really sit down together for a drink?? does that make any sense. have a drink with me is what i’m saying--- or, you know, let’s be friends. you’re amazeballs - and your writing and art are 👌👌👌), @makostamp / @reflectingchaos (we have sooo many threads together and i adore all of them!! you really write all your muses so well, it’s a joy to plot and write with you. i know you have your doubts sometimes, but you’re a really great rp partner and you come with everything one needs for having a great time in an rpc!!), @fraxcxccl (literally i’m your FAN. i’m blown away by your art, AND your writing AND the fact that you made up this amazing oc that ALSO feels like a canon character like, shut the front door. i’m not really a shy person but with you i still feel like i need to come up with something GOOD to approach you with before i’m worthy of writing with you. i’d love to though.), @turkoftheslums (you’re precious. i know you only love me for my dog but that’s okay, she’s the best part of me. we should write more because i really enjoy seeing you around and i feel like we could be good friends :) )

5  SONGS EITHER YOU OR YOUR MUSE REGARD AS A ‘GUILTY PLEASURE’ THAT ALWAYS MAKES YOU SMILE.

these are all nonsense songs, all of which are guilty pleasures (if at all) of ME, not my muses. 

ONE Lol okay, so there’s definitely this song, which I found at 3 in the morning while browsing youtube and sent to Han as a joke about our ship, but I’ve listened to it so often by now that I’ve had to begrudgingly admit that it’s actually not so bad. The lyrics still kill me, but it’s such a good smut writing song.

TWO HAHAAAA, okay this one is hilarious. Haven’t thought of that one in years, my sister reminded me when I told her about this meme. It’s super dumb, be glad if you can’t understand the lyrics (I’m guessing only one person I’ve talked to on here will be able to understand). It’s basically about “playing doctor” in a sexual way and the shit she sings, let me tell you. But the beat is kinda nice, haha.

THREE Let’s stay with the German songs for a moment, because I remember loving this song SO much when it came out (in my defense I was like 14) and even now I have to admit it’s not awful. I also remember not knowing it the twins are girls or boys when I first watched it, because honestly his voice is like ??? And he kinda looks like a female singer that’s quite popular in my country.

FOUR Also I’m a trashcan so I like club music, especially for working out, and I’ve been weirdly obsessed with this one. It’s repetitive af and really only good for running but ?? I love it?? (You have to fast forward a bit, the beginning is only beat).

FIVE This needs to be on this list as well. Because it’s a bit ?? but also it’s hella great. Anyone who says they can’t feel it, is lying.

Moment of Weakness || @urbdev-assistant​ My muse is in a frightened or nervous state.

Her focus was shaky, her mind not knowing what to focus on first. She had to stop the trickle before it crept further onto the desk. No, she had to fix the papers, scattered on the floor. Pick up the cup. No, the spill. The papers. The cup. The spill. The conflict in her mind reached a stalemate and as a result, nearly canceled each other out. Her pitiful attempts at stopping the coffee as it slowly spread across the shined surface of the table hardly made any difference. It had gotten onto the papers, there was no removing it now. 

All she had wanted to do was... tidy up the desk a bit. But now she ruined it. She made an even bigger problem than some out of sorts papers and now.. It happened faster than she had been able to process it. Several papers were now water damaged and hardly legible. 

Clean it up before someone sees. Clean it up before someone sees. Clean it up before someone sees. Clean it up or else... I'll be in trouble. Clean -  clean - clean ---

He hadn’t meant to fall asleep, but judging by a quick glance to his watch he’d unintentionally dozed for the better part of an hour, leaving him a bit bleary-eyed and disoriented when she’d come in to find him asleep on the couch in his office, one leg hanging off the edge with an arm draped over his face to block out the pin-lights in the ceiling.

  “Deadlines,” he croaked softly, sitting up and tugging his tie back into place, though it still fit a bit loosely around his neck; he couldn’t be bothered to formalize it, the damage had already been done. “I was stuck in Directors meetings all day, I hardly had time to get anything done.”

  Part of this was true, part of it not — he’d met his deadline several hours ago, around the time he’d bid farewell to his team as they filed out of his office. It was the bits of under-the-table Slums business that had kept him long passed his usual hours utilizing access to tools and information he did not have readily at his disposal at home. 

  “What are you doing here? I thought you left hours ago,” he tossed the ball back in her court, eager to get the topic off himself.

Rita was under no delusion she knew all of Reeve’s secrets, even if she’d reached a level of trust and openness that one could even categorize as ‘friendship.’ Rita didn’t need to know all of the particulars of her superior’s life, and when it came to certain things - like his penchant for having secret (or so he thought) rendezvous with Turks - she didn’t care to ask.

But that didn’t mean she didn’t worry. Rita’s natural inclination concerning Reeve was to protect. And though over the years as she herself had come to know the Turks a little better, she found that a new worry had emerged in the form of Hojo’s Assistant.

Of course Rita registered the woman’s presence, her pull on Reeve. Nothing pulled on Reeve’s attention. Nothing, Rita mused with a slight pang of envy, except Isrieal, it seemed. Rita wished she had the kind of pull the other assistant had - if only it meant Rita could be more successful at getting Reeve to actually take care of himself. But as it stood, Rita noticed that Reeve had been seemingly...distracted as of late. And when she’d noticed them lurking among corridors between the research labs and urbdev…

Rita’s inclination was distrust. Perhaps it was unfair to the woman - whom she knew practically nothing about. But Rita knew full well to not trust Hojo in any capacity, and therefore any association with that man aroused in her a shield of suspicion. 

Not to mention she was...odd. Rita couldn’t put her finger on it, but there was something more to the assistant than met the eye. What was this woman’s true intentions with Reeve? Did she really not mean any harm? She’d come into his life so suddenly, with such force. 

Rita had to make sure. 

She waits outside the lab, not wanting to go too near for fear of meeting with Hojo by mistake. That’s the last thing Rita wants. She waits until Isrieal happens to pass, and jumps at her chance to act. 

“Hello,” Rita tries to project a fiery confidence she doesn’t necessarily feel. “You may have seen me before - I’m Rita, I work in Urban Development with Director Tuesti.” Rita lifts her chin and makes contact with Isrieal’s sterling blue - beautiful - eyes, and extends her hand to shake. “You’re Hojo’s Assistant, right? Isrieal. Do you have a moment?”

Impression: Mel is such a rich character. That's what drew me to your portrayal, as an OC she's fleshed out so well that she fits right in with the larger universe. (@urbdev-assistant)

Some headcanons

Reeve and His Assistant

To me, her name is Rita (adapted from Reeve Tuesti’s Assistant), so that’s what she’ll be called here henceforth.

Age: 30 (I could see a range form 27-31, though...but definitely in Turk/Rufus range, so younger than Reeve.)

He was 25 when this intrepid 20 year old receptionist came to him asking for additional assignments; reports to file, numbers to crunch.

She impressed him in no time with her knack for numbers and timeliness in completing reports, and he soon assigned her to all manner of tasks to help keep the administration of the division running smoothly.

Given her penchant for working hard, he quickly promoted her to his personal administrative assistant. In many ways, she acts as his number two, and as such he’s become used to airing his thoughts and feelings to her.

They are both workaholics, staying late into the night finishing up their tasks. As a result, each would say they don’t have much of a social life, or many friends. Gradually, they find themselves divulging details of their personal lives.

For Reeve, it’s talking about his Ma. On more than one special occasion Rita has helped him pick out gifts, or deliver something just in time.

Rita talks about her grandfather...Mayor Domino. Reeve was surprised by the connection first, since they don’t share a name, but she explains he’s her maternal grandfather. But, she doesn’t like telling people, since then they’d assume she’s only here because of nepotism.

Reeve already got along with the Mayor quite well. But he feels...different, more nervous, now that he knows Domino is Rita’s grandfather. Reeve feels pressured to make an extra good impression.

Rita’s not sure how Reeve feels about her, but she has a MAJOR crush. How can anyone blame her? She works for the best Director in the company, and after a few weeks of working with him she was charmed by his genuine kindness and care for the city. She’s been smitten ever since.

Many of the UrbDev staff know this, and mock her mercilessly for it in the employee chat.

Papa Domino also teases her about it, saying that it’s obvious they like each other. She asks him how he knows and he says he just “has his ways...”

Reeve doesn’t date much, and he also doesn’t think a lot about the prospect. But as he’s spent more and more time with her, he just can’t help but wonder...what would it be like?

As it stands, he realizes she’s one of the only people in the company who cares for him, and that he can trust. That makes her invaluable to him. He's not sure he wants to rock that boat...yet.
