Random question, does anyone have a stand mixer they love that isn’t Kitchen Aid?

The motor on mine just died for the second time and is now out of warranty, so I’m reluctant to save up for and spend the $500 something price tag for something which I had to replace numerous parts for and then still had problems with :/

I do have a hand mixer we can use in the interim, but given my lack of hand strength and general stability in the kitchen, it’s not ideal for the long term.

We replaced our old Tineco vacuum last year after many years of use (the filter sensor finally failed after 5+ years and couldn't be replaced) with a Bissell model because it was on sale and had good reviews. I've regretted it every day since.

Not least because it's been nine months, and the Bissell is dying. I've taken it apart, cleaned it, and done all the troubleshooting that customer service wanted me to do, and the motor is failing. We'll see if they honor the warranty, but I'm just so tempted to get another Tineco and throw it on the credit card.

It was just such a better machine in terms of the amount of dust it picked up, battery life, and weight. Vacuuming always fucks me up because of the POTS and my dust allergies, but at least with the Tineco, the sucker was light.

See, this is the shit they never tell you about adulthood when you're growing up. You will become attached to a vacuum and have a favorite burner on the stove.
