When he uncovered a hidden gold mine buried deep in Chanderi’s caves, he used his wealth not for glory, but to care for his ailing mother and to fortify the village’s defenses. Eventually, his connection to Chanderi—and its secrets—could no longer be ignored. Dev set out to confront the unknown beyond the town’s borders, seeking answers, allies, and the origin of the darkness stalking his bloodline.
