Summary:

The Brand of the Exalt. A symbol of the divine bloodline that would be able to wield the weapons of fate. To restore a tragedy that was yet to come. To prevent another catastrophe.

Chrom led a fairly simple life, heʼd say. The moment his father was no longer in the picture, and his sister Emmeryn was forced to take the title of Exalt upon her name at a fairly young age– he had always strived to do whatever he could to aid their kingdom now that it was peaceful again.

Though, obviously, he didnʼt always agree.

So whatʼd become of him when all suddenly changes for the better… or for the worse? That fated day out on the field, where he finds a soul he didnʼt expect to spend this sorry tale with. A tale of blood, sweat and tears that was bound to leave a scar. Not just upon his skin, but also within his mind.
