in MY opinion, after falling in love with you, Vampire! Ais would be very reluctant to bite you. He likes your humanity and would want you to really consider what it means to live a life of constant hunger 🥀. But ultimately, it's your decision and he would turn you if you were really set on it. (Que all blood related romance)

If LEANDER was a vampire he'd bite you np. He'd want you to think about it too of course, because he doesn't want you to rush into a decision you're unhappy with, but he's waaayy too excited about being able to love you foreverrr to deny you.

Reading a horror book and it reminded me of touchstarved and I truly CANNOT WAIT for this horror otome game to have some real good spine-chilling horror scenes to accompany the romance

I wanna feel the same fear Vere has for Kuras, I want to be horrified by the crypts and its frequent visitor, i want to see the seaspring at its most terrifying and highest power oooooo i cannot wait for the full release

Vampire Vere would be ruthless before he really falls in love with reader. He's greedy and wouldn't think twice about draining someone. But tbh I think when he gets close/serious with reader he'd still be greedy and messy and shit but he'd drink readers blood like it's fine wine. He gets his main fix from other victims but really savours reader. Expect it to be extremely bloody tho, he likes it to look like a crime scene xD

Leander for sure tries to kinda hide it. Not hardcore, bit he tries not to tell EVERYONE. He won't go our of his way but also you wouldn't know by just looking at him. I also think he'd be hesitant to drink from his SO and would make it way romantic, or at least he'd try

Mhin would go out of their way to hide that their a vampire. Would NEVER EVER dream of drinking from a person. They and up having to do it but they won't be happy. Also if their SO asked for them to drink their blood Mhin would refuse 100 times before agreeing. Feels very bad that they actually enjoyed it.... Might have gone a bit overboard too (vere did find out and tease them to hell and back fs)

Vampire Vere would definitely not think twice about murder. MC would find him dabbing at his crimson lips with bloodstained, monogrammed handkerchiefs more often than not. And when he wants to feed from his beloved? It’s an entire show he puts on. They get a candlelit room, a nice hot meal, tons of fluffy pillows and blankets…the whole nine yards, before he leans so close, his breath runs across the nape of their neck. “You smell delightful,” he whispers, a firm kiss pressing to their skin. “I’m sure you don’t mind that I eat after all of this preparation I’ve done for you, hm?”

Leander DEFINITELY tries to hide it. There are rumors, of course, swirling around Eridia, but no one really knows what’s true and what’s not. Turns out, being a contracted killer really helps conceal his vampiric identity! He can easily do away with bodies and no one will ask questions. Why do criminals keep appearing with two holes in the same spot on their neck? Weird. Maybe someone should hire Leander to look into that and find the culprit…and of course, he’ll take MC along for the journey, which seems a bit more roundabout than it should be. If he needs to feed during the trip, then perhaps they’re a good source of sustenance. After all, does it matter if his beloved knows his secret? They won’t tell a soul unless they’re trying to get themselves mysteriously killed too…

Mhin would never drink from a person…unless they’re absolutely starving to death. Even then, I imagine it to be a moment of disgust with themself—retching and vomiting the first few times they feed, then admitting they need to drink blood for their survival and doing it as humanely as possible. They knock out their victims and only drink until the hunger has barely subsided. They choose spots beneath clothes where marks could be mistaken for bug bites. Mhin struggles to admit they like MC’s blood more than anyone else’s; they really wish they didn’t, but they can’t get enough of it, to the point that they find it difficult to sleep beside them at night without absentmindedly running their fangs along MC’s skin. They’re just so hungry around their partner. Maybe…just a little sip…

Ais is a voracious beast and doesn’t try to hide his vampiric nature even a little bit. Everyone knows he’s dangerous, and everyone avoids him like the plague. And naturally, Ais with Vere is…horrifying. There’s a lot of begging for him to give mercy and let them live, but he’s no fool. If he lets too many of his victims live, then surely people will find a way to gang up on him. While that’s an interesting proposition, he’s not sure he wants to fight a dozen weak-ass humans when he’d much rather fight someone of his own caliper; humans are just too pathetic. When he meets MC, he’s constantly teasing them with flashes of his long fangs. “Scared? Should be, little sparrow,” he says, scrubbing dried blood off of his knuckles. He even sneaks up to feed from them, thinking MC will just be another victim, but somehow becomes smitten with their taste instead. They should be savored. It’s much more satisfying tasting them on occasion than devouring them whole so quickly.

Kuras is meticulous. He’s very much prone to drawing blood through proper means and drinking it from simple testing tubes in shot-like doses. If a patient needs a transfusion or a blood test, he’ll simply take an extra vial or two as payment. Yes, he feels guilty at first, but he can’t allow himself to starve when he needs to help the people of Eridia as a consequence of his terrible past. When MC is discovered practically bled out and armless, he makes sure to put them back together and doesn’t take a sample, not even a little, but he strongly considers it. He even has to wipe drool from his lips because they simply smell so strongly of beautiful blood. When they get closer to him and realize his true nature, he offers little more than a calm smile. “Would you like to sustain me as well, or do you prefer our current partnership instead?”

A kick to the ribs woke Beau. He instinctively curled forward to protect himself, the chain connecting his collar to the wall clanking and rasping against the concrete floor.

"Good morning sunshine." His master drawled. There was a warm amusement to it, his anger abated at the sight of Beau in pain.

Another kick, this time to the gut. Beau retched despite having long since vomited any bile left in his body. His throat burned from stomach acid and thirst. He had thought vampires didn't need to drink- after all, none of the servants had given his predecessor water- but he had a headache from dehydration, mouth dry and throat parched, and a weird ache in his teeth.

Beau heaved, trying and failing to control his body. It was dead, why did it still go through the motions of living when it only made everything worse? Yet his only method of control was attempting deep breaths while his numb fingers grasped at his stained and torn dress shirt.

The clicking of dress shoes on the concrete floor of the basement filled him with dread. Beau spared a thought for Maude, the maid in charge of the master's wardrobe who would be spending her evening cleaning bloodstains out of the patent leather's seams.

Beau reached out, bracing himself and sitting up, leaning on hands wet and sticky with blood. He was nearly against the wall, dread filling him as his master grabbed a weapon from the shelves and racks on the opposite wall.

The dimmed lighting cast strange shadows when combined with the nearly black bloodstains on the floor. His master turned. The long, thin weapon he wielded reflected light off of its metallic surface.

Beau's mind could only compare the sight to depictions of avenging angels.

His master approached Beau, the light filtering through his blonde hair and gleaming like spun gold. Pale blue eyes were alight with rage, a usually pleasant and placid face twisted, nostrils flared and teeth bared in a snarl. Weapon in hand as if completing some righteous, God-given task of punishment.

Beau tried to brace himself but he was still reeling from the previous attacks and could barely stay upright.

Then his master changed his posture, and it was something Beau recognized, finally able to see the weapon in full as it was brought back and up. The face of the golf club flashed in the light, gold plating on iron.

Then the club was swinging down in a devastating arc.

The head of the club struck Beau's sternum with a heavy thump and a series of crackling pops that Beau felt more than heard as he was flung into the wall. His head knocked into concrete so hard the world went black for a moment.

Pain exploded and encompassed his entire being. His existence narrowed to the agony, piercing and rending flesh and organs alike, his own ribs jagged claws reaching inwards to rip him apart.

Beau barely processed the rain of blows on his body. He kept his eyes closed tight enough to see bursts and flashes of colors in the darkness, arms up to protect his head, not that it mattered.

Beau had already learned in the past few days that begging didn't appease his master. It did nothing but piss his master off more. While his master seemed to enjoy Beau's subservience, excess pleading just annoyed him. Considering the fact that his master only came down into the basement when he was already mad, annoying him only made the beatings worse.

All he could do was endure. His body would regenerate from bruises and broken bones, betraying him by becoming a clean slate for his master's torture yet again.

So far he had only suffered beatings at his master's hand, but Beau knew it wouldn't last forever. The wall across from him was a constant reminder, taunting him with what he would be subjected to in the future. Knives, scissors, whips, pliers, saws… and more that he hadn't even noticed in the poor lighting, like the golf club he was being beaten with.

And of course, the stake.

A large carved piece of ash wood, splattered with the black lifeblood of Beau's predecessor. His master had lectured about it at length- how he had been forced to dirty his hands due to the vampire that turned Beau, as a dog that bites once will do so again. And the only ways to kill a vampire that stuck were decapitation and a wooden stake to the heart.

Beau had spent hours just staring at the vague silhouette of the stake where it lay on a table. He hadn't noticed it as a servant, so innocuous among the blades and tools. Now it was a threat, the sight of it scaring him as much as the basement's door opening and the clicking of dress shoes did.

The cloying, rotten taste of his own blood brought Beau back to reality as he choked. The spray of blood from his mouth splattered against the sleeves of his shirt, as he had still been trying to protect his head in vain. The metal of the muzzle dripped with blood as more and more bubbled up Beau's throat, pooling in his mouth.

Despite knowing logically that he can't die- not unless his master permits it- Beau was still terrified that this would be the time he succumbed to his wounds. He should have died a dozen times over now, from the torn throat, the beatings, the bleeding, the cold. His existence had become unending suffering for the sake of his master's temper.

Regardless of the monster he was now, Beau still felt human. He didn't want to die. Even if his heart didn't beat and he didn't need to breathe, even if he was already dead, he didn't want to die.

It was nonsensical. It was ridiculous. Enough to make Beau's body attempt to laugh even if it only meant more blood to choke on as his body convulsed.

A clatter rang out as the golf club fell onto concrete, far enough away that Beau couldn't reach it even if he wanted to. The thought of doing so didn't even cross his mind.

"This is getting boring, you know." Beau's master was already leaving the room. "Maybe next time I'll finally get around to defanging you like I promised."

The door to the room slammed shut, his master's anger left unsated.

All Beau could do was lie there in a pool of his own blood and breathe, even though his body didn't need to. His mind did, convinced that he just needed to keep breathing. As if it were proof that he was alive, that things were going to be okay.

When he would pass out in a few minutes his body would stop breathing. A servant would come down to clean and avert their eyes from his corpse. They didn't like the reminder that any of the estate's staff could become the victim in the basement.

The pretense that as long as their master continued to torture strangers down in the basement the staff of the estate would be spared from his wrath was gone. Constance Mallory's sweet boy, quiet Beau, had died down there. The gardeners had buried another corpse, though plants refused to grow where it had been entombed in the soil.

The servants were gossiping about this new development in the estate, though they kept it out of earshot of the kitchen's staff. They were saying that the corpse carried out of the basement hadn't been Beau's, but the ghoulish monster that had resided down there. Beau was still down in the basement, suffering at their master's hands.

And none of them wanted to be the one to tell Constance, so they didn't.

Vere

|🩰| Vere is certainly worried about you after not seeing you for a few days. You’re typically with him as often as you get the chance, why have you been practically missing?

|🩰| Asks around- Ais, Mhin, Leander, god forbid he’d even get over his hatred of Kuras for a second in order to find out where you are. He really does fear that you’ve gotten kidnapped or gone missing

|🩰| You can imagine his relief when you have simply been in your room the entire time. Sure, he is still incredibly worried about you isolating yourself- but that is a welcome alternative to you having been kidnapped or worse. (He wouldn’t be shocked, given his status as a slave you may as well have a target over your head.)

|🩰| Vere has been around for a long time, he’s certainly picked up on lock picking skills. Typically he’d ask to enter your room, but by this point he is so desperately worried about you he wouldn’t even bother trying to coax you out. What if you’re dying in there?

|🩰| Vere doesn’t strike me as the type to be afraid of you upon finding out you’re a vampire- quite the opposite, really. He has quite a long life span (immortality counts as long, right?), and with you being a vampire, you would likely have a longer one as well.

|🩰| Of course, he’s incredibly interested in finding you attacked you and turned you into a vampire, it must have really hurt you.

|🩰| “(Name), you look like you haven’t eaten in fucking weeks!”

|🩰| Runs up to you, grabbing your chin gently and making you look at him. Vere isn’t the type to plead with people, nor would he plead with you. You need to eat, after all! He doesn’t want you to object.

|🩰| He finds his ways to get you to eat, offering himself up (though he isn’t a human, so that may only help enough to hold you over temporarily). He’d assure you it’s fine the entire time, he’s surely been bit before (given his monster form seems to be a wolf. Those things are mean), he wouldn’t mind repeating it again for you.

|🩰| Vere would play dirty in order to get you to eat, mixing blood into your drinks secretly at the Wet Wick, putting it in food, maybe even getting Kuras to find pills (he HATES Kuras, but would totally be civil for a few moments to help you)

|🩰| Lowkey might find it kind of hot, but that’s a discussion for once you’re more accustomed to being a vampire.

Leander

|🩰| Leander is also incredibly worried about you, but does find you much more quickly than any of the other LI’s would (save perhaps Kuras.)

|🩰| Once he does make his way into your room, he is incredibly concerned with your physical state (and your mental state, you do not seem to be doing well in the slightest)

|🩰| Leander, like Vere, would be incredibly interested in finding the person that did this to you. He wouldn’t be the person handling them though, he’d send others after them so he could care for you.

|🩰| Leander was born a human, so his blood is exactly what you need to feed on.

|🩰| He’d have absolutely no problem letting you feed on him. If it’s the biting that concerns you, he’d even prick his own skin In order to get the blood out. Anything to get you to eat like you need to.

|🩰| Would also mix the blood into your drinks in order to get you to have a little extra of his blood isn’t enough.

|🩰| He does look into finding a potential reversal if you are unhappy with your form, likely to no avail. He certainly would make an effort though, that’s what matters.

|🩰| Makes small adjustments to the way he does things, plans outings with you, and other things after you turn into a vampire. Sensitive to sunlight? You can go out more at night, he wouldn’t mind staying up a few extra hours for you.

|🩰| Doesn’t necessarily find it hot (he is nowhere near as freaky as Vere), but Leander certainly wouldn’t find it unattractive. He loves everything about you, vampire or not.

Ais

|🩰| His first fear is that you are dead somewhere. Like Vere, being involved with Ais may put a pretty large target over your head if he makes the wrong move.

|🩰| Would definitely find you rather quickly, he literally would not sleep until he knew that you were safe.

|🩰| So as you can imagine, by the time he finds you he’d be absolutely exhausted and incredibly worried about you. All of this combined may make him a little bit brash with his word choices when it comes to you. (Though he would certainly make up for it afterwards by any means)

|🩰| He will get you to eat and won’t take no for an answer. Sits there for hours if he has to explain exactly why you need to eat.

|🩰| “no, (name), I’m not watching you starve because you’re too afraid to feed on anyone!”

|🩰| It’s a good thing he doesn’t mind people having a bit of an attitude with him, otherwise you being short with him over the idea of feeding would likely make everything much worse.

|🩰| Like most of the people on this list, Ais would also offer himself up for you to feed on him. Along with this, he’d send Mhin out to kill some animals and get their blood. If you won’t eat human blood, he’d get animals instead. (I’d assume animal blood is similar to being a vegan as a human, you’d most likely need vitamin supplements of some sort.)

|🩰| He would certainly find it somewhat attractive. But more importantly, you being a vampire would probably give you a better way to defend yourself. He’d sleep a little more soundly knowing that you’d be able to protect yourself without him.

Mhin

|🩰| They notice your lack of presence rather quickly, looking around in your usual spots to find you. Anywhere you like visiting, shops, the clinic.

|🩰| Mhin is not all too panicked- panicking only makes it harder to find someone, after all. It ultimately works out, because they would find you in your room rather quickly after realizing your lack of presence.

|🩰| Mhin wouldn’t make any brash choices when it comes to trying to find the person who did this to you. Sure, they would ask around a little bit, but they know better than to go around picking a fight with a vampire who had already turned at least one person.

|🩰| Wouldn’t be super great with comforting you verbally. Instead, they’d probably hold your hand or sit next to you while you tell them everything you want to. They’d understand if you don’t want to say everything, eventually you will if you are comfortable enough.

|🩰| Because of their curse, Mhin wouldn’t feel comfortable letting you feed on them in case it would affect you negatively. Instead, they’d go out to find animals rather often in order to sustain you.

|🩰| They don’t mind it, either. Mhin strikes me as the type to genuinely enjoy being out in the quiet nature hunting.

|🩰| They’d claim that they don’t care at all, but you’d catch them from time to time reading whatever books they could get from Kuras about vampires. (They are actually interested, they just don’t want to show it)

|🩰| Secretly finds the little features of your that have changed since you were turned incredibly neat looking. You’d catch them staring on occasion, but they’d always claim it to be them just zoning out.

Kuras

|🩰| Regrettably, Kuras would be the slowest to figure out that you are missing. A large portion of that is because of how busy he is with the clinic. It’s rare he has time to see you in the first place, but after a few days of your absence he’d connect the dots rather quickly.

|🩰| He’d be the fastest to find you (after he found out you were missing) among all of the LIs. Partially because he’s an omnipotent angel and surely knows a lot, but also because he knows you quite well.

|🩰| Not super good at handling your emotional state after he finds you. Kuras unfortunately has never done well at understanding the problems of others, which may make him come off a bit cold.

|🩰| You would notice him doing a lot more things for you afterwards, asking how you’re feeling more often. You can tell that Kuras genuinely does worry for you, he just cannot express it verbally.

|🩰| Kuras cannot allow you to feed off of him, seeing as vampires are unholy creatures by nature and he himself is the embodiment of holiness. There may be no issue, however he does not want to risk harming you.

|🩰| On this note, there are very few things that Kuras is unsure about given how long he’s been alive, this being one of them. He does not want to find out if it comes at the expense of you.

|🩰| He’s a doctor and has access to plenty of blood through transfusion bags, blood draws, etc. He’d begin taking just a little extra blood from his patients to store for you, only giving it to you once he knows it’s safe(void of diseases), of course.

|🩰| Kuras has met his fair share of vampires during his time on earth, but does not see the harm in researching a little bit more in order to better care for you.

|🩰| He does examine you physically once you are ready, making note of any changes that could have occurred since you turned.

|🩰| Kuras certainly doesn’t find it attractive or weird (simply put, he doesn’t really care.) it doesn’t change you as a person. He feel in love with you, not with what you are.

First illustration for the opening of my story with Mercy the Vampire, the story is called Nox Requiem.

200 years ago horror tore through the world, a third World war.

This war was fought not with lead bullets and atomic bombs, but with magic. Nations had formed bonds with demons and gained incredible power through witchcraft. Blight and disease, curses and storms, ripped countries apart. No clear winners ever seemed to emerge from any battle. Each evil dealt against another country inspired new desires for revenge, new depths of depravity to sink to. The nightmarish terror reaching an apocalyptic crescendo of destruction.

The land of Nox Requiem alone survived this raging madness. A true miracle performed by Saint Leander of the Gilded courage and Saint Sanctiphage of the Burning blood, sealed Nox Requiem in a protective holy shield. The sky enclosed with clouds. No messages nor vessels have entered or left Nox Requiem in two centuries. Nox Requiem,the last vestige of humanity in a world struck by oblivion.

IDK if this counts as a Hagstone ask, but what is Hagstone? Could you give me the rundown? Or do you have a post where you explain the basics already?

Yes!!! It definitely counts!!! Let me tell you about my OCs and their story!

Hagstone is a story that I've been working on with @browniefox on and off for about seven years now! We've made at least one or two complete drafts of the first book, and I'm currently going through and rewriting the first book for (hopefully) the last time! and then it will be done! Hagstone is intended to be a duology, so just two books long.

enjoy this seven year old art when I was first developing the characters! The tag is Hagstone, but to find ALL the art I've ever done on it check the tag wtgp - it had the temporary title of 'Way to go Paul' for like... four or five years, referencing a Vine which I can't remember why we did that haha. There aren't any characters named Paul in it.

The story is about Kyle - a recent college dropout - who has to find new housing after an Event at his old place. He moves in with the eclectic Eldan - and over the course of the book gains new housemates (none of who are actually human) and discovers a dark danger lurking under the town.

(are by @browniefox) The story itself focuses on themes of struggling to let go of the past and face the future, dealing with grief, depression, and combatting loneliness.

One of the reasons I wrote this story was that I was really tired of stories that constantly have a 'normal' character who later realizes they're Secretly half witch or a fea or whatever so a big part of the story is the fact that Kyle is a very Human person with no magical abilities and how he interacts with the magical world.

The main characters are Kyle (of course) an anxious, depressed, and self conscious guy with a special interest in bugs and anger issues.

Eldan - the oldest living Fae who always seems to know more than everyone else and has been reportedly 'in a funk' (didn't leave his house) for many decades leading up to the story.

Marion - An acerbic vampire only a century or two old with trust issues and a secret soft side. He has been ostracized by the local vampire covens for reasons not yet known.

Ollie (Oleander) - Hailing from a family of monster hunters, Ollie is a sweet boy who can transform into a giant beast. His family are technically a line of Gargoyles but many centuries ago Eldan blessed them, hence the furriness of the transformation and the lack of being made of stone. However, something has happened recently causing him to go to Eldan on behalf of his family for help.

and Jonah! - Jonah is the ghost that haunts the house with few memories of his time alive whose death is connected to the darkness that lurks under the town.

(if you look you can see that Jonah and Ollie were recently renamed. Ollie was originally Leander but that read and wrote too similarly to the name 'Eldan', so we changed his name to Oleander and have him go by 'Ollie'. But THEN that was too close to the name Odon, so we changed Odons' name to Jonah. I'm much happier with these names and I think they are now distinct enough from one another, but it may be confusing if you're looking at old stuff)

It's really insane how beautiful this game is <3 Look at these hydrangeas! I already spent ~ 100 hours in inZOI and I'm still stunned.

I've spent hours yesterday and today to get Leander and Noxee kind of acceptable in my eyes (I already mentioned how hard it is for me) and while I think I can live with Noxee (this is a whole new game and I came to terms with that they'll look different. I even think it's a good thing to have some distance to their Sims 4 versions (I never managed to make Vlad, Jack, Gytha and all the others look like their Sims 3 versions either ^^')

Here are some photos of Noxee in Jack's room (since we haven't met her in the story yet). I'm quite happy with how she looks. I still wanted her to look like a man (she's a Drag Queen like in the movie), but a very pretty man. She also has a male body ingame. As she had in the Sims 4. I wish I could have made her look more like Wesley Snipes, who played her, but that's just not possible for me. Even though she's 32 years old in this story line, she looks very young ö.ö But in The Sims 4 she'd been a vampire and was a few hundred years old and she didn't look her age either ;)

Leander gives me headaches, I don't like his eyes and we've tried everything (yes, I've even pestered my poor daughter to help me lol!)

From the side, I like him pretty much.

Front view I'll just leave him until we (hopefully!) can edit them. Before I go crazy omg. Atm I have to add versions of him over and over again to the family and delete all the leanders I'm not happy with. Such a kerfuffle in a korean town where plastic surgery is daily business! Evidence A:

He looks so, so different in CAZ. When I think 'ah, the eyes a bit deeper, smaller, brows up, mouth smaller...' and change it, it looks so weird ingame, it's crazy. Maybe I chose a bad preset?

None of the Zois I brought ingame look so far apart from their CAZ version as Leander does. Ji Ho and Kiyoshi will give me some headaches too. I didn't even get them right in CAZ, oh my! But that's a problem for future-me...
