— First of all, i’d like to thank the lovely doll that requested this!! I’m so sorry the og request post is now gone, my wifi just isn’t having it today unfortunately.

Now, I’d like to think that you and Vander are close enough that if he was struggling with stress or just it’s a busy day at The Last Drop—he’d be able to turn to you to help with the kids.

You two were a team, you worked together to ensure the kids get everything they’d need.

Whether it was getting them ready in the morning, or cleaning them up after some alleyway scrap they’d got themselves into.

The smell of eggs and bacon swam through the air, Powder kneeling between your legs on a cushion as she rambled excitedly about her dream. Mylo sitting beside you, groaning dramatically pretending to die of boredom.

You found her endearing, she was like a puppy—loud and never seemed to run out of energy. Not that you minded, she brought all the life Zaun lacked. Mylo was a charming boy, adoring that stupid wolffish grin (he’d learnt it off of Vander) any time he was in trouble.

Vander was cooking, bickering playfully with Violet as he scrapped the eggs around his pan—Claggor tinkering with some sort of contraption as he listened to the two.

Vander liked to say he was the ‘bad cop’—it was blatantly obvious his frustrations never lied with the kids. More the stupid situations they’d get themselves into.

His frustration stemmed with fear, he couldn’t imagine a world without the kids, he couldn’t bear the thought of loosing them.

He confessed this all to you late at night, you two were sitting on a couch together—he didn’t think everything he said was ever going to be spoken allowed. But, he spilt it all to you.

One thing I’d like to think is that Vander has a small collection of trinkets—A metal flower, covered in thorns and paint from Powder. A tiny figurine adoring stupidly massive gauntlets from Violet. One of those singing fishes, that only let out horrific screams from Mylo. And a new pair of work gloves from Claggor.

He held onto a lot, even if it seemed like junk—he kept everything he’d been given from them.

You thought it was cute, his frowning horde of random items.

You gave him one of his favourites, a strip of pictures taken in one of those dingy booths—you and the four kids all goofing around and pulling faces.

Overall you two take great care of each other and the kiddies!!

When you and Vander were casually going on dates, he had asked you what you were looking in a relationship. While you wanted something long term, you didn't want to put pressure on whatever you had with him, and you were open about this with him. He understood, and you had both agreed to go with the flow.

It took only a few months for him to move in with you at your apartment. It was a bit of an unconventional building, what with the shop running underneath it and all, but it was quiet most days. Vander was still working at the mines, and while he would do his best to reassure you about the working conditions, you were still nervous about his safety. Him and Silco wanted to quit to start up a pub in the area, and the perfect opportunity arose when the owner of the store downstairs closed up shop. After coming home one day, he surprised you with the new commercial lease agreement.

Soon enough, your lives became incredibly busy; you had quit your part time to focus on your last college exam season before gaining your degree, and he was busy with the renovations and his last month of mining work. By the time you were going to sleep, he was already waking up to go clock in— quality of sleep being the first real issue between the two of you. Though you were also dissatisfied with not spending quality time with your boyfriend, to which he promised to make up for.

After you were awarded your degree, The Last Drop had officially opened. You had celebrated the day with friends and family, and after they had left, spent the night with Vander, who was keen on keeping his promise. It was a day well commemorated and a night well remembered.

Nearing your next anniversary with him, Vander had proposed to you. He had had a busy and frankly tiring day, and all that he wanted to do after heading upstairs was lay down and crash for a few hours. But you had been making dinner for the two of you, and by the amount of pots in the sink, you had been in the kitchen for a while. You hadn't yet noticed him leaning on the doorway to the kitchen, but he was looking at you with the utmost fondness. Not wanting to spook you (especially with burning surfaces nearby), he had knocked on the doorframe. You, not expecting the sudden noise, was thrown off kilter— the wooden spoon in your hand clattering to the floor. "Shit, sorry, I'll clean that up," he says, already grabbing a cloth. His knee cracks a bit as he gets down to wipe at the floor, and then at your ankle when he notices a splotch of sauce there too. He looks up at you suddenly, but you don't quite catch his words beneath the sounds of the steaming pots. He near whispers it again, but this time you hear it. "Marry me?" His eyes are dilated, his attention devoted entirely to you, his hand still absentmindedly wiping at your foot. You stare at the devout look on his face for only a second before joining him on the floor in a tackle-like hug. You say yes so many times it started to echo like prayer.

You were both equally involved in the wedding preparations, even with the rising popularity of The Last Drop. It was tough at times to find the time to plan, but it was made simpler with you and Vander sharing a similar vision.

The wedding was intimate and cozy— exactly as you had both wanted it. A quiet ceremony tucked away in a garden where you had shared the first date with Vander all those years ago. Only friends and family were invited, so it was a comforting and welcoming feel. Clover covered the ground in a thick soft carpet, and colorful lights were strung up in the bushes. White chairs were layed in lines as pews, and at the center of it all, Vander was waiting at the foot of a weeping willow tree. You walked up the aisle to the tune of soft music, in a flowing white dress you helped embroider. Vander cried when he saw you, his eyes still glossy by the time you said "I do."

Your vows to him were eloquent though your deliverance interrupted by your giddy laughter, his hands enveloped in yours in a careful squeeze. His vows to you were long, but not a moment went by where he wasn't gazing into your eyes as he spoke, his voice a bit shaky. Midway through he forgot he was supposed to project his voice, and spoke only to you. "You are the safest place I have ever known, and I will spent the rest of my life making sure you feel that way too. For the rest of our lives I will give you everything that I am. I love you—" You don't wait for the officiant's cue to kiss Vander.

Cut to the honeymoon, y'all are worse than wtv Bella and Edward had going on. Neither of you were walking steadily after that 🙏

Apparently both in a recent panel and one of those post-finale DMs Amanda Overton did, Silco threw that molotov on the bridge because Benzo was being arrested. In fact when Silco said, "You never did know when to walk away", he was referring to that time.

Can I just say I would love a Zaun prequel series, because every new tidbit I learn about Silco and Vander's friend group is insanely toxic in a way I just bet the writers never intended. This new information is only funny for me because I always hc'ed that Benzo was a hater, and honestly the fact he took Vander's side after in light of all of this proves it to me.

Making Claggor look exactly like Vander with dark wavy hair and pale skin like Silco, and giving Mylo Vander's skin tone, hair, and eye shape, and Silco's eye color, cheeks, and general build was certainly a fucking choice.

I know ‘Ma Meilleure Ennemie’ is intended for Ekko & Jinx but boy did I wish there were a few background pixels of Vander and Silco during that scene since the lyrics speak so strongly to their relationship.

I mean…come on now:

There’s the explicit ���Your past will follow you and wage war on you’ which is applicable to every character in this show. But the hereditary nature of Vander and Silco’s conflict which haunts the entirety of season ones narrative, reinforces the extent to how deeply routed their emotions were in this ideology and this commitment to Zaun and also to each other, until it wasn’t. Hence the doomed tragedy of it all.

The repeated blurring of lovers and enemies, and the line ‘why does your name hurt me when it hides right there in the vicinity?’ Does that not remind anyone else of when Vander was searching for Silco. And the paradox that was their ‘Vicinity’ where there was a physical distance between them yet they shared the mutual knowledge that they could always meet at The Last Drop if ever Silco wanted to contact Vander. Since that location was - emotionally - ground zero for them; ‘Blisters and Bedrock’, They were so close yet so far from one another during that time.

Somehow, whatever your interpretation, Alt universe Silco and Vander overcame those adversaries.

And since this song exists in-universe and is playing IN THEIR BAR, it means somebody added it to the bars playlist.

In my head canon Silco stops bottoming after Vander. He will only top even though he hates it cause he hates the thought of being that vulnerable ever again more. When they first get back together he convinces Vander to bottom once just to see but starts crying half way through cause he hates the fact that he doesn’t feel as safe and loved that way and that’s always how he wants to feel with Vander.

Is Vander a jealous type ?

Short answer is yes — in the sense that he has a set of insecurities like any other human being, and those insecurities feed the anger, jealousy, other negative emotions.

I think young Vander esp hasn’t quite got a handle on his possessive streak. Zaun is a tough place: you have to hold onto things you love / have with both hands. I think as the years went on, he rarely experienced jealousy where Sil is involved, because time and consistency proved loyalty. He doesn’t have any real reason to doubt Sil.

That can change though.

Silco headcanons

Hi! I loved writing this, hope you enjoy like always!!

-Silco sleeps like a dead animal, no pillow and in a straight line, there has been many times when someone (jinx) went to get him in the night and she thought he was dead.

-in the alternative universe, he gave powder all his old clothes, records and jewellery from when he was younger.

-Talking about when he was younger, silco loved painting and art in general, but after the fight with vander and as he got older, he had no time to do it then lost interest.

-One of the reasons he smokes is to distract him from the pain on his eye, sure shimmer helped, but sometimes no matter how much shimmer the man took- nothing helped, so he smoked to distract himself.

- For a while after the fight with who once was his best friend, silco had night terrors and would wake up feeling as if vanders hands were on his neck.

-Silco can dance really well, put a song on with a decent beat with no one watching after a bottle of wine then he’s good to go.

-Quite likes to write, If he has any spare time then it would go to reading a book or a poem of some sort.

-Silco isn’t the best cook, he can make simple meals like pasta, soup and toast, but most of the time he just snacks on fruit

- Most definitely a cat person, you know that cat in the first or second episode what singed out in the mouse tank? (I can’t remember which one it was) that was probably his.

-He deals with hangovers quite well, same with his alcohol, when he was younger, silco didn’t have that good of an alcohol tolerance but after time he built it up.

-Gets migraines a lot due to his eye, and they last for a good while.

-Despite his love for sea animals, silco hates the taste of fish, even though he grew up in the undercity what’s surrounded by water and food is very limited, the smell disgusts him.

-Felicia taught him how to braid hair, at first when jinx wanted plaits, he wanted to get sevika to do it but she refused, so he plaited her hair.

-Silco hasn’t really labeled his sexuality, but he’s definitely experimented with men more than once in his life.

-When he is drunk, silco just sleeps, he gets really tired and just collapses.

Do you have any domestic Best Timeline Zaundads headcanons? I 100% thought Best Timeline Silco became a councilman or some kind of high-level politician, too (of all the Zaunites, he strikes me as having the most skill in handling that kind of environment). Vander strikes me more as the grassroots guy in the relationship.

Yeah I have some scattered thoughts about them haha

Silco definitely went to find Vander after hearing of Vi's death, he probably went back into the mines for nostalgia's sake and found the letter… obviously the letter was. pretty shitty lol so I'd like to think he went back to the Last Drop to immediately confront him about that HAHA but that probably started the healing process for those two.

I agree that Silco is more politically driven than Vander, I personally think during Jayce's trial (which honestly. in canon. felt super rushed in terms of "oh we're just gonna do this in the next week or two) Silco probably was able to push for better rights for the undercity (something about the undercity not having enough resources to the point where children felt forced to steal, idk I'm not Silco so he can probably spin the situation to his advantage better than what I'm making up)

haha my hot take is that I actually don't think "the nation of Zaun" exists in the s2e7 AU verse, personally I think Vander was able to talk Silco out of having that drastic separation and instead work alongside topside to get the undercity to equal footing as them, so by the time our Ekko gets there, the undercity has been uplifted to be an equal part of Piltover rather than "Piltover and Zaun are neighboring countries" type of thing… the bridge just felt like a normal marketplace and not really a border.

As for more day to day things, I definitely think that despite spending all his time working in Piltover as a councilor, Silco still insists on staying at the Last Drop with Vander and the kids even if it takes him like what an hour to walk all the way to the council building every morning? He probably still has like. a backup apartment or office etc if he needs to pull all nighters but just in general he seems like the type of stubborn person to stay grounded despite having the means for better (Even in canon, it seems like he stays at the Last Drop rather than the upper levels w/ the other chem barons)

on twitter there were a couple of ppl talking about Silco drinking coffee (since I had that moka pot in the illustration i did..) I'd like to think that even though Silco seems like he'd be a super nitpicky coffee snob he still has a lot of nostalgia and fondness for the burnt stuff he and Vander used to drink when they had the morning shift at the mines
