“Do you have some sort of issue with me liking peaches?” Malcolm said, crossing his arms and leaning against the bulkhead. He liked the fruit, it was sweet, somewhat unlike his favorite fruit, which was more tart. Thankfully he wasn't allergic to peaches which seemed much better in the long run as well.

He was off duty for a few hours and had decided to go drop in and see Briar to check up on how she was doing. He had decided to stop into the botany lab and smiled as he saw the tiny pineapple plants he was helping Briar grow. “Briar!” He called out, pushing a few leaves out of the way as he walked to find her. “I swear I’m going to get lost in here again.” He mumbled to himself.

Once Malcolm commits to staying in the 23nd century with the NCC-1701-A crew and starts wearing a red-shirt, Malcolm has a hard time getting off the red-shirt with the zipper in the back ( reference: beyond uniforms w/neck zipper ) he needs to constantly ask for help and he always asks Bones because he doesn’t have the guts to ask anyone else. He also chooses not to learn how to unzip it because he likes the intimacy of it.

I think Charlie is doing what she thinks is going to earn her respect among her peers. In my opinion, the way she is naturally is the right way to go about it, but she does have a toughness about certain matters that is admirable.
