It's been a while since I drew this fella! Not since March this year, and only once since May 2023! Coincidentally I'm posting this right as it's storming outside right now. xp

I drew this before bed earlier. I'm nowhere near starting a new webcomic yet, but I'm hesitant of doing my next webcomic in the same style as this one because of it being kind of time-consuming. I'm looking for a style I can do in at least half the time... so here is me exploring that!

Overall, my method with this one was simply:

A little shading, but not too much; just basic indications

Monochromatic coloring

Bright visible eyes despite darker lighting conditions

No inking; keep the sketch lines

Avril Lavigne’s “Under My Skin” became an instant favorite of mine when it first came out. This here is Avril’s equivalent in the Rock & Roar universe - she’ll appear for a funny visual as a poster on Emma’s bedroom wall along with the previous MCR one. 🦊
