1000 Homo DJs - Supernaut
Around 1990 Wax Trax released a pair of 12" by the Al Jourgenson side project 1000 Homo DJs. This was notable for having Trent Reznor on a scrapped version of Supernaut .
The 12"s are great, The Trent version appears on the Bandcamp, I was gonna put the records on my drive but Ministry has the rites to these for some reason and yes I know the name is rough but hey it's the late 80's.

I still find it so funny that Ian MacKaye and Al Jourgenseen were in Pailhead together because they're both at complete opposite ends of the drug use spectrum. Ian wrote a song about how he'd never do drugs or alcohol or meaningless sex and unintentionally birthed the Straight Edge movement while Al is drugs.

Trent Reznor was a supporter of the Wax Trax! Records label in the early 90s. He was also an uncredited member of 1000 Homo DJs who were signed to this label. You can hear his vocal in one of versions of Supernaut (Black Sabbath's cover song).
Wax Trax! Records was purchased by TVT Records in 1992 and was discontinued in 2001. It was revived in 2014. Trent took a part in the documentary titled INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT: The Story of Wax Trax! Records (2018) Here is a bunch of pics of Trent wearing a Wax Trax T-shirt and tank top.

Wax Trax! Building located at 2449 N. Lincoln, Chicago. Life and business partners Jim Nash and Dannie Flesher opened the WAX TRAX! records store in 1978. Their shared passion for music inspired the retail venture and their personal tastes, creative generosity, and willingness to take risks shaped the store into an international source of eclectic and ground-breaking music. Trent Reznor during his touring with Revolting Cocks in 1990 + Supernaut audio from the live gig. If you have something else with RevCo!Trent please share in your reposts, thank you. I really like to search and compilate rare Trent things together.
