Hello world of Tumblr, I need help. I have been looking for some awesome Sci Fi podcasts to listen too. I love time travel, space, alternative realities. Literally anything to do with space and the brain.

I was trying to make my way through "We're Alive: A Story of Survival" but I hate CJ soooo much specially after the retaking of the colony she is such a fucking bitch. I have no clue why everyone talks about her like she's so smart and so analytical and is sooo objective in her decisions when?? Half the choices she's made were because she has a puppy crush on Saul (knowing full well he has a girlfriend he loves) and the other half made because Saul does not return her feelings. She is petty in the worse way, narcissistic, corrupt, and like an overall shitty person. I GET that pretty much every character in this show has their issues but I cannot stand this woman. She manipulated her way through basically every interaction she had with Saul and Victor (sending them to Ground Zero with no info, for example), tried to kill them because they stole a couple of apples (???) kept trying to convince Saul not to look for Lizzy because she wanted to date Saul - same reason she didn't want to go to the colony, because she'd rather Lizzy died and Saul forget about her (also trying to convince Saul that the baby probably wasn't his anyway and that Lizzy was probably already happily dating her rapist???). And then having the gaul to get mad when they lied to her about Shaun and blaming all of them??? for her leg???? which was literally no one but Scratch's fault????

Like, c'mon, kicking them out literally because Saul rejected her advances is some highschool level shit. I can't believe everyone talks about her like she's some great leader. She SUCKS.

I just finished binging the podcast We're Alive, and the fact that there's practically no fanfiction for it anywhere is an absolute tragedy. There are so many good characters. It is almost enough to make me start writing again just so there's something out there. I mean, seriously.

No one wants to create a better love interest for Michael than PEGS!? 🤮

No one is exploring the depths of a relationship with Angel, everyone's favorite fuck up?

BRICKS? Can I get some love for big man Bricks? Please. What a fucking sweetheart.

We're Alive is an award-winning audio drama that follows a group of Survivors in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles now ruled by the "Infected."

The Walking Dead of horror podcasts. This full cast audio drama starts with an army reserve soldier waking up on day one of the zombie apocalypse, and it checks just about every box in the genre, from survivors rallying to fortify their safe zone, fighting over infection, non-zombie maniacs who are worse than the monsters etc. The zombies themselves do come with a twist that I won't spoil.

Perfect for zombie fans most of all, but also if you're looking for something long and meaty.

I love many songs, especially the ones whose intentions are to motivate and inspire you, and one of them is "Renegades". I don't know if I would consider that as inspirational, but one line that sticks out to me is Go forth and have no fear. Even at my lowest points... I still manage to persevere. I will see it through the bad times and...well...just keep on keeping on, I guess. Keep moving forward. We weren't talking about songs but I still felt the need to point that out?? On a totally new note, this is not 100% confirmed, but I just might be applying to a unit some time next week now that the rent prices are starting to appear affordable. There's a few units I'm eyeing, so hopefully I'll finally be able to put that big-ass deposit down soon and go from there. I'll keep you posted! I might make a post about ✨ the big day ✨ as well... 🙂

oh, that's amazing tho! the power of music is truly something else. sometimes i feel like this is the only thing that keeps me alive - it's good to have something like that and it's not silly at all.

for me, the line of all the lines is "when darkness rolls on you, push on through" from oldies station by twenty one pilots (wow, everyone's surprised). but anyway. it just reminds you that you have to keep going no matter what. and it truly helps.

i am just so so so damn happy for you! i know it's scary but you're doing this anyway and that is honestly so brave. as usual, keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for another update! ✨
