I shouldn't really be ordering anything buuut I had to get this adorable friend

They just arrived in the mail! They were only about $20 before fees, which was an amazing price given Green Earth Puppies usually cost anywhere from $60-100.

But now that they're here I can understand why. They're a bit dirty, especially on one foot, and their fur feels a little worn. They were definitely a loved friend. And now they'll be loved in their new home! But first, a bath :D

Plush Generation 3

As many of you noticed I brought up about new plush coming to Webkinz. For those who are hearing this the first time I wanna break down all the information in a simpler way to understand everything I know.

Gen 2 Plush Current State

The Gen 2 plush first launched in 2020 has not created a new plush since March 2024 which is really weird considering it has been a year and 2 months since the last plush was created. With 0 word from Webkinz or Ganz as to when the Next plush will be and based on the sales records for the current Gen 2 plush it’s safe to say it did not go well for the relaunch.

Toy Store’s Confirming

Recently 2 Toy stores and some comments of people claiming to work at stores say that the plush is coming but we will focus on the 2 official toy stores that will. First Toystore to confirm is Learning Express store. Specifically the one in Lake Zurich, Illinois. The owner has made a few posts confirming he has the paperwork and was planned to be part of a pre launch in May. However on a recent update the plush toy has been delayed till Fall.

The second toy store to confirm is Playthings etc. located in Butler, Pennsylvania however it was based on someone’s contact with the store as the store is not promoting the upcoming launch.

Ganz Displays

Recently a lot of user have found that Ganz has uploaded new Displays to their website for Webkinz. Take note that the QR codes are just filled QR’s and don’t lead to anything Webkinz related. But the displays have an availability date set for September 1, 2025.

While many people may speculate that this could be built for the Generation 2 plush. That is not possible. One reason being that the Generation 2 plush didn’t have displays just the boxes they came in and printable posters. As well a user pointed out that the shelves on the Floor Display have 2 different hights with the bottom 2 carrying larger plush while the top 2 appear to have room for smaller plush sizes.

What do the plush look like

This is the million dollar question. That many are asking. Myself at this time I cannot confirm what the new plush will look like. There is a user claim that there is 12 plush planned for launch with the plush looking like the classic Webkinz Plush but at this time. We don’t know.

When to expect the plush

While myself among many others don’t know when the next generation plush for sure know when the new plush will launch it is safe to say we could expect the plush somewhere around late September or early October as we enter the Christmas holiday shopping season.

Myself working in retail I feel this is a good approach for Ganz as many items do get purchased during Quarter 4 or also known as the Golden Quarter. But as for now it is the waiting game for any information or Statements Webkinz may release. Stay tuned as I will update when info comes available.

louise tells harley that her webkinz are gonna be murdered because harley has like seventeen webkinz and won’t shut up about them, and louise wants a webkinz but bob and linda tell her she needs to wait for her birthday because they’re kind of expensive for a small plush toy. so it’s mostly like a jealousy thing but she convinces this poor, poor girl that dr. quack is gonna chainsaw her pets in half the next time she goes to the clinic

and the twins also have a webkinz each (andy has a little cat named ollie and ollie has the same little cat named andy) and she’s not annoyed at them in the same way because they’re aren’t constantly talking about having a webkinz but they can be fun to mess with so she also convinces them that the webkinz killer is very very real and is going to GET their pets

but eventually they get like, genuinely distressed and harley works herself up about all her webkinz not being able to go to the doctor and it’s not fun anymore and she’s like “UUUUGH fine… harley, andy, ollie, there’s no webkinz killer… andy, ollie, andy and ollie are gonna be fine” and the twins are like WHICH andy and ollie and louise is just like all the andys and all the ollies, you’re all gonna be okay. and harley all seventeen of your stupid glorious amazing pets are gonna be fine and you can visit dr. quack :/

Helloo!! Hope its ok to ask you about the Ganz Heritage Collection Shiba Inu plush because i cant find much information on it and im really interested in it. They seem to be similar in quality to webkinz signature line with sewing patterns and airbrushing. Is the quality of the materials high? Also do they have a tush tag :D?

Hey there! I definitely don’t mind answering questions about them! I ran into the same issue, I couldn’t find anything about this plush either as it seems it may be discontinued? Ganz website has the rest of the heritage collection available to order but not the shiba inu, I did find a link to it on their site but it lead to a missing page. I found mine by luck as there was a flower shop that happened to have just two left in stock!

I haven’t owned a signature webkinz in years now so I can’t directly compare the quality, however the fur is very nice and feels very high quality to me its incredibly soft and thick and it does have some airbrushing! I’ll be including some close up photos but it has airbrushing around the nose, a little around the eyes, ears and on the feet as well. It did have a tush tag but I cut mine off, it was fairly small though if I recall correctly

I’m not sure if you’re curious about the size but I measured it and from ear tip to butt its about 11 - 12 inches I also took a photo of it next to my webkinz hyena for a size comparison!

some of my childhood stuffed animals!!!

let’s go!!! nostalgia time!!!

first up we will look at all the webkinz (except for my frogs bc those ones are on a shelf)

there was this lil store in town that would sell webkinz for cheaper than meijers, so if i got good grades or something my mom would take me there and let me choose 2! but meijers always had a better selection so sometimes we would go there, but they were more expensive so i could only get 1.

lil kinz grey n white cat my beloved… i got her from my aunt for christmas one year :’) first ever webkinz, i was so excited!!

my mom hated the mohawk puppy because she thought mohawks were a sin

the signature clouded leopard introduced me to the animal and i was obsessed with them for a while!

the clydesdale horse is kinda special! my dad got it for me from ebay :) he normally never got me stuffed animals because he thinks they’re a waste of money. i also thought it was cool, because the internet was new to me, and i didn’t know you could buy stuff online!

not going into details about the traumatic event obviously but it’s kinda funny, because basically i had to pack a bag super quick and i spent forever deciding which plush to take with me lol (i think i was in shock or something, because i was not thinking clearly)

okay that was a lot of plushies… now i am tired… oof.

claw machine prize time!

i love claw machines, i would play them all the time! my favorite was this little one at little caesar’s in the next town over. the machine was really easy to win! i also remember walmart used to have a bunch of claw machines!

not going through the whole box, because most of them aren’t very interesting.

my first ever claw machine win is the little angry tiger! i was probably 4?? and it was at walmart. my dad moved the claw into position and i pressed the button :) i was so excited!!!!

the black and white bunny was a win from the little caesar’s i mentioned earlier. i loved it! the plush is super soft and good quality. normally claw machines have cheap toys so i was impressed!

the carrot farmer bunny is super cool! she originally had a straw hat, but the claw ripped it off :( i was never able to get it…. but that’s okay! also one of her legs is sewn on backwards. weird. but i still think she’s super cute!

next is miscellaneous plushies

i am even more tired now, so i’m not going through the entire box… sorry

these are mostly from garage sales! some of them were bought brand new though (and those ones were always so cool to me)!

i loved that chipmunk so much. i carried him with me around the house and i would sleep with him every night. i got him from the zoo on a field trip! i remember there was so many plushies, it was hard to choose just 1! unfortunately i did puke on him once, so my dad put him in the washer then dryer. when i saw him after he came out of the dryer i was so upset. he’s different! i hate change. i cried. he’s not soft anymore. i still loved him though, because it’s not his fault that his fur got messed up.

i don’t remember where the white dragon is from, but she’s so cool! i’ve heard it could be worth money but idk.

I also got these two Douglas! The person who gave them to me accidentally ordered two lol! The one with less spots on her face is Juniper, and the one with more spots on his face is Whiskey! I also got that Invader Zim blanket that's underneath them

She arrived much faster than anticipated, but I bought myself a Webkinz Next French Bulldog! She’s so much bigger than I expected, she’s almost Sunny sized!

Her name is Lis (pronounced like Lee) and, while I don’t know if I plan to join Webkinz Next, I’ve already added her to my Classic family and I’m very excited to welcome her into my home 🧡

Chihuahua facts below the cut

The Chihuahua was released April 2006 and Lil' Kinz was released June 14, 2006. It was pet of the month December 2007. It was also the Caring Valley Pet December 2009. It's pet specific item is the Poco Fiesta Throne and pet specific food is Bueno Bone Burritos (pictured below).

The Chihuahua's description reads:

"Break out the sombreros and piñatas, the Chihuahua has arrived in Webkinz World from south of the border. Don't be fooled by this puppy's small stature. One look into its big brown eyes will tell you it has a big heart to match."

Poncho is the only Chihuahua Webkinz NPC and he is featured in Candy Bash and Candy Bash 2 (one of OP's favorite Webkinz games fun fact; right next to Tile Towers). Poncho is pictured below.

getting really back into webkinz and playing it actively (had to make a new account :(( but the only kinz i had on my last account was the default free one) and thinking about caving in and getting the membership :/ but i have like more important things to actually buy with my limited money LOL but man i remember when everything was free :( granted u could only make an account if u had a plush code but ngl id take that over a monthly membership

also prob not an unpopular opinion but the new webkinz next plushies are so unappealing 😭😭 not ugly but like,, what Happened u took away the charm
