yk, I want Bludhaven’s Nightwing and Gotham’s Nightwing to be different.
In Gotham, obviously there are. A lot more people. There, he is “the nice one” (compared to the others).
In Bludhaven? Blud-worse crime rate than Gotham-Haven, managed only by Nightwing? There’s no fuckin way.
Personally I don’t think it’s. Mainly a conscious decision or smth? Just he does more in Bludhaven and maybe ends up being generally less cheery? Or smth. He’s more willing to be (externally) tired with Bludhaven than he would be with Gotham.
Idk, smth for him to really embody the Terror of Bludhaven title yk? Nightwing is Bludhaven’s Batman; you know like, before robin and everything. He works too hard and he’s something to be scared of. He is Bludhaven’s Batman - just a bit more flippy & quippy (and a lot more friends).

Concept: Throw Your Heart Over as an animated show of some kind but there are, like, educational appendixes at the end of each episode like “the making of planet Earth” but it’s about some Fascinating Fact. So for example, in an episode in which the Celt and his Irish Hobby have been doing weird feats of equitation in the corner of Killie’s eye, there would be an ENTIRE 20-minute documentary video essay in which people like @mylittlehony would be able to explain to you everything about the Irish Hobby, from whether it did give rise to the Thoroughbred, to how it fared in medieval battle, and how it gave rise to the term “hobby.” We’d bring in linguistics and DNA evidence and people would be fascinated, they’d be like “but my horseboy yaoi show” and we’d be like “it was a TRAP to get you interested in……… medieval horse warfare apparently. Uhhh. next episode has a recipe for Sachertorte though. And then we are getting FULLY into… narrowboats… and Kendal mint cake.”
But but but the funny thing will be that a pennywhistle-based musical motif that pops up associated with the ghost horses would be “concerning hobbies”. and you THOUGHT this was a LotR joke combined with wry commentary about how WORRYING these interests are. But then halfway through you hit the Irish Hobby infodump, find out that it was a joke about hobby horses, and put a KNIFE THROUGH YOUR TV SCREEN

pretty wild highs & lows since childbirth. renovations still ongoing at a distance with move date uncertain; live-in postpartum care worker my parents dubcon-gifted us who's hard to communicate with (language barrier) and is doing unsafe-seeming food practices; family stuff both sides; health issues from a complicated labor. there's also the actual baby, but right now she's noticeably less difficult than the interpersonal stuff. I'm sobbing multiple times daily from stress

I always regretted not doing the silicon valley startup grind in my twenties when I had energy, and this feels kind of similar. except all the problems are stupid and don't make me money

Bojan & Jan last night at the Gaza relief concert in Ljubljana and this song truly did bring me to tears 🍉
oh and yeah, the other guys didn't show up. i just genuinly don't know what to make of that. i mean they don't need them for this particular song. but at the same time there is Novi val, the moment they were announced I was sooo sure that was the one they were going to play.
i mean i just really really really hope from the bottom of my heart that it wasn't like the others didn't want to come.
edit: from what i've learned now, apparently they called in to join last minute, so maybe it was like a scheduling issue and the others just didn't have the time on tuesday to come.

when i realised the reason loki is so good at manipulating thor could well be that he's been taught how to do it, likely by frigga whose own job is "talk the king down and/or egg him on"
