diabetes stereotypes in memes and such frustrate me. eating a bunch of sugar doesn't necessarily cause it. sometimes the cause has nothing to do with what you consume. and losing weight is harder for diabetics. you can't have too much NOR TOO LITTLE sugar or else you die. and even if you starve yourself, your body will start to convert the fat into sugar, so being hungry will make your blood sugar go up. i literally live with a diabetic person and the problems they face daily get brought up all the time. it's not just silly funny fat person disorder, it's a genuine illness that people actually struggle with
