so if i start this j*b in july do we think i have the time but more importantly the courage and discipline to save for a 3k pc overhaul before datv drops. serious answers only

#i feel like my pc CAN run it as it is. but i want to be able to see each individual rain droplet on my rook's face lol #otherwise maybe i'll just buy a ps5. but hhhh #the problem with my pc is its GOOD but due to a series of unfortunate steps that led me to this point.... in order to replace 1 part #i'll need to replace 7 #which. isnt ideal #honestly im so thrown off balance by the fall 2024 release . genuinely thot it wasnt coming out at all let alone within the year for a min

#my actual posts lol #haha what if i made a daily diary post thing like nico #..i was just thinking #today was a good day #and i thought of this song #ive been playing summon night swordcraft story a lot as of late.. though none today actually #its still on my mind though #i considered using dweller empty path's song flying through a stary sky instead.. but this is what i thought of first #i think it fits best to use it #i actually had to jump through some hoops to upload music!#cus my tumblr app is kinda old.. i cant properly upload music. i could only put a link #which isnt exactly ideal #so i tried in my web browser.. but maybe its cus i havent updated it in a while or maybe just cus its tor.. it didnt work #so i downloaded firefox and did it on there lol #now im editing it in my drafts back on the app #dont ask why im not just doing it on my computer... shes having some technical difficulties. we're working on it #but not today #...#today was pretty eventful.. even if not very productive. but ive never been a very productive person #we went and saw some light festival thing! it was rly nice.. a little simple at times but it was fun #we went and got some yummy snacks earlier too! tho ive already eaten them all hehe #and i started up animal crossing new leaf. i hadnt played it in ages! its startling how much better it is than new horizions.. imo at least #only problem is i couldnt make it the same as my island.. and i didnt remember why i named my last town #we searched for a while for some reference or somfin to name it after.. but we ended up just going with ''faraway''#cus i liked the idea of being asked where im going.. and just saying far far away #and as beth said it has a kinda fairytail vibe!#...only after i named it did i realize i accidentally named it after the town in omori. oops!#...im about to hit the tag limit. so whoevers still listening i just want u to know..#i love you. ok?#goodnight

there's just so much to say about book 3 and its themes of what makes a hero (thalia and how she represents what the ideal hero is supposed to be like, zoe and her story with hercules). there's so much to say about a hero's journey and having a real purpose for why you do what you do (annabeth). failure is part of the journey. what you fail to save (bianca) and how it affects other people (nico) and how it can be what grounds you. there's fate and there's prophecies and no one can make these choices for you. that's something you have to figure out on your own and you have to learn how to live with that. it's about family and faith and trust and broken promises and heartbreak and if my life is going to mean anything, I have to live it myself.

#like god even the percy thalia rivalry is so much more than big 3 kids showing off their powers #it means something that percy sees thalia as the ideal hero it means something that he gets a little more anxious to prove himself #cus before it was never really about him being the hero and it still isnt. it still very much is about him wanting to save his friends #and how that should be enough for him to be a hero #and it means everything when thalia makes her choice bc she made it knowing she can trust percy to be the hero they need #which was what he was questioning all throughout the book #he also learns u cant save everyone but u can still try to make it right if u disappoint someone #hence zoe hence nico #and then ofc everything he experiences and learns all leads to him declaring that he chooses the prophecy #its not just thalia passing it on. its him also choosing it #im dying to talk about it cus ik other ppl can put it into words much better than i am rn #the thalia angst of it all as well #i have soo much to say #percy jackson #thalia grace #pjo #cin's txt.

Guess who now has a savings account AND actual money in their savings account instead of the same singular checking account I've had since high school. It's like I'm an actual adult with financial responsibility or something.......

#i also got approved for a credit card so i will hopefully build some credit #eventually someday i want to be able to buy a used car in my name that will work for the rest of my school career/clinicals #im currently driving my grandpas pick up truck which is great but is 2wd (so not ideal for the snow/ice in the winter) and uses so much gas #and isnt in my name. i want a car that belongs to me.#but thats super far off #i need to save up enough for a down payment and i dont want to take out a huge loan #and i need to figure out what kind of car meets my needs AND is reliable and wont cost 1 william dollars in repairs #i loved my subaru but the head gasket repair would have been more than the car was bought for #im thinking something toyota but idk yet....#im only just now able to save any money from my paycheck at all so itll be a while until i can start planning this seriously

like an offshoot player can have themes and character arcs that diverge from the alpha player implying a different classpect, but at the end of the day, the only quest bed they could possibly use is the one assigned to their player. they'd ascend, but still be doomed/ not the alpha player.

im basing this off dream jade being assimilated into alpha jade and the coinflip dave dilemma. there are doomed ascended players that exist in dream bubbles that had slightly different experiences to the alpha players, and you can carry that logic to offshoot alpha characters like the sprites or the dirk splinters.

its been so long since ive felt comfortable sharing anything ive made, so i feel really proud that the featured posts on my blog are all my art pieces now. it feels like a more authentic expression of what i want my digital footprint to look like

#for a very long time i felt like i was participating in the world on a surface level and not contributing anything from my heart #bc i didnt have the energy between dealing w mental illness and working full time to pay the bills #but lately my job has had me on the schedule less and less (not just me either its my whole team and its a whole thing) which isnt ideal but #it has given me the space to pursue my passions and im incredibly grateful for that. if i keep this up i can move away from full time work #(for a corporation) and be a freelance artist like ive always wanted #my post

i really do wish i enjoyed macdennis more 😭😭 it seems like most people here and on twitter really enjoy it and i wish i could share in that. i consider it to be canon (or i guess the most canon??) and i recognize the work the writers are putting into developing their relationship, and because i love sunny its beautiful and interesting to me!! but it just doesnt scratch my brain unfortunately 💔
