this is the stupidest crossover possible but I want Tim to make House his doctor

why? He needs someone who is very good, will not give up or send Tim out to a different specialist just because his medical condition is difficult, will not be overly concerned about the danger Tim puts himself in, and will lie on Tim's medical records AND to Batman/Bruce Wayne/all of the Bats without hesitation or fear.
House is and will do all of those things without hesitation. He has no shame, no boundaries, he WILL get into a public fight with Bruce Wayne if it means keeping that man out of his patient's (and House's) business. He will help Tim lie to and gaslight the rest of his family without hesitation.
in exchange, Tim is his favorite patient. Not because they get along, necessarily, Tim is a know-it-all little shit and they constantly bicker and House hates how practically every facet of Tim's existence is a lie (and Tim thinks House is a smug know-it-all jackass who is needlessly cruel and callous bc he thinks the world owes him and never delivers just bc he's in pain, news flash a lot of people are in pain and manage not to be assholes) BUT, 1, Tim brings him really interesting cases and problems, and 2, Tim NEVER lies to House about his medical conditions or what he was doing when they happened.
He lies about literally almost everything else under the sun TO everyone else, but he is 100% completely upfront and honest about his medical history and what is going on with him with House.
admittedly it takes a while for House to realize Tim ISN'T lying to him because some of the shit he says is completely insane ("the vigilante thing is pretty obvious but what do you MEAN you got the Apocalypse virus TWICE, AND SURVIVED, AS A FOURTEEN-FIFTEEN YEAR OLD")
but once he realizes Tim doesn't ever lie to him, he becomes House's favorite patient because at least TIM gives him all of the data he needs as best he's able the moment he asks. At least House doesn't have to waste his time following up on bogus information or figuring out the truth, he can just get right into the meat of the medical issue at hand.
also it's so fun to lie directly to Batman's face, know the man knows, and know he can't do anything about it

Finally read 'Annihilation' by Jeff VanderMeer!
For a book about a cosmic horror genius loci, the ending really got to me. I had to sit for a minute and will myself not to cry. Simply a completely new experience for me. 😭

Crazy how despite Mikan's love for gory movies and blood, she doesn't do an over the top murder. She doesn't even do a medical themed murder despite it being the main focus of the chapter. (Only one of her victims was a patient and she just strangled her)

i just remembered that rabbits can sleep with their eyes open whether its them staying cautious or just that they feel like it
i can imagine how freaked out some of the sprunkis that never knew this would be whenever they randomly see one bunny sprunki just lying down with their eyes open like that and thinking they were dead until they started to blink into awakening
#miscellaneous leer#i see this more likely happening with toki and peebii and sometimes jevin#as for pinki its rare for her to sleep with her eyes open since she usually feels safe with the environment she lives in#toki is more likely gonna sleep with both eyes open every so often likely due to the fact that they constantly needed to stay alert#i mean having the ability to randomly foresee what the future holds can be a curse sometimes it make it harder to sleep peacefully#aa for peebii; she only rests like that whenever she's on duty (usually on breaks)#sometimes she'll cover her face with her hat while also hovering it by a bit so it doesn't fully obscure her vision#for jevin... wait ill just rephrase what i said about him; he used to sleep with his eyes open ALMOST ALL THE TIME in the past#ever since he joined the cult at a young age he gained a habit of doing that so he thought it was normal until it freaked out black#<- (gonna put context of when this took place just incase; its during their sprunkling years where they first met)#but yea ill just day jevin doesn't sleep like that as much as he used to (this was his sign of recovery; he feels safer nowadays yayy)

i haven't watched all star grand queendom yet so NO spoilers but i finished the 4.24 korakuen show on youtube this morning and i was struck by how tam and saya's performativity mirror each other
like tam's shtick for ages has been having a really emotional match with an opponent, lots of teary eyed eye contact and lingering looks at the end, raspy voice screaming trying to get through to them. then when the opponent finally leaves the arena, tam composes herself and addresses the audience with her cutesy voice, hello from the cutest in the universe tamu 🫶✨️🧚♀️🩷❣️
she immediately puts that wall back up, tells the crowd she's sorry to make them worry, but she's gonna win in the end so they should believe in tam!
saya puts up a similar front. she growls and rasps evilly to the crowd about how they're all her servents and they're gonna kneel to her and etc etc, but she can't keep it up when she's looking at tam. she keeps avoiding eye contact because once she does look at her, she can't stop. she gets teary eyed and there's genuine fear on her face, that she won't have tam looking across at her much longer with this destructive tailspin she's sent them both into.
i think it's extra evident in this post match segment, since it's so close to the actual retirement match, their "last dance" as she keeps calling it. she's genuinely dreading it.
there was a lot of talk about how it doesn't make sense for saya to have put her own retirement on the line but like the point is that it doesn't make sense imo, it's literally self destructive. she wants as big a crater at the end as possible, something that'll make her feel anything.
