Welcome to Art Whumpers Anonymous!

AWA is a 20+ discord server intended to be a space for artists of all levels, styles and mediums to come and share art, seek critique, share OCs and talk about whump in a community setting! We also run weekly and yearly events.

Additionally, we welcome those who are writers/hobbyists/lurkers/just testing the waters with art, as well as offer a space for OC threads, writer's talk, sfw/nsfw roleplay seeking/playing, commission/trade seeking and sprinting, among others.

The server is 20+, and has adult channels and discussions. Sorry kiddos, but unfortunately any minors will get banned!

Though AWA is focused on being an artist community, we do encourage anyone to join.

How large is the server?

Right now we are hovering around 100 folks!

I want to get better at art. Can this server help with that?

The AWA offers a crit space!

Why is the server 20+?

The AWA mods wanted to create an adult space where adult topics could be engaged with without worrying about censoring for the sake of minors. We do ask that explicit content stay within their respective channels, but otherwise try to cultivate a nonjudgemental environment. The server has been changed from 18+ to 20+ for the sake of maintaining an adult atmosphere.

What events do you do?

AWA currently is running an OC Trade Event, as well as a weekly member spotlight DTIYS. Anyone in the server is free to participate.

Here we go! A whump rp server. It's nsfw and 18+ (sorry loves), featuring oc chatrooms and general interaction rooms for low spoons roleplay as well as spaces for some more permanent rp. Time for some community shenanigains.

I have like 350 ocs to play with and will be tossing them in at least in the chatrooms and such, so come check it out!

I made this in the discord server for WhumpLoversCollaborate with fellow whump people!

I mod the server and we are currently doing an invite event. If you like whump and heavy angst, feel free to join.

We have art, writing and OC spaces, as well as 18+ spaces.

We do events such as writing/art exchanges, monthly art prompts, and we have a writing encouragement section where you earn points and join leaderboards if you choose to participate. You can earn points for writing, chapters, posted works, new characters, writing prompts and more!

whumpee surrendering themselves to something they don't want to do, something they know will hurt them, because there is no other alternative. perhaps it's their only way out of a sticky situation. perhaps the threat of whumper punishing them is more than enough to make them comply. either way, they have to fight against their own instincts, their own desires, their own dignity, in order to give themselves up to the torment. it's like a swine walking into a slaughterhouse; a death march.

bonus if whumpee is usually very defiant and self-assured, even if the face of danger. what possibly could've broken their spirit bad enough to make them behave like this?

hello! we’re back with another event! this time, you have until October to finalise your work!

although we do encourage you to join our discord server but this is not a necessity for you to join!

but if you’d like to join a welcoming and kind community the link is in my pinned post!

The first rule is that you must have an ao3 account and tumblr, all the work added will be published to our ao3 collection and you will share a snippet to tumblr with the link so that we can add it to our master list after!

The ao3 collection is listed as: #OTWLevent4 < also the hashtag you’ll use on tumblr to share.

the prompts: (including some alternative ones)

a few rules:

- given the 100 link tumblr limit, if you do plan on writing one for every single day we do ask that you make one master list post with them all included so that we can share the one link. After every event we do a masterlist and we want to be able to share everyone’s work!

- must be teen wolf. this is a teen wolf event so multi fandom isn’t welcome however, cross overs are okay!

- we welcome all ships.

- you do not need to write a ship. it can be a friendship or family bond.

- fanfictions, mood boards and fanart are included.

- ai is not welcome and if you disclose that you’ve used it, your work will be kicked from the collection and not included in the master list.

- there is 31 prompts, 3 for each day. You do not need to use them all or go in any order. The prompts can be used individually or you can pair the three together in a singular edit/fanfic.

- when publishing your work to ao3, please tag what prompts you’ve used for your work. the same goes for tumblr, tag appropriately.

For example: duct tape/“where am I”/vision impaired. Those could be used together for a kidnapping style fanfic or something like that. OR you can choose to only use “where am I?” And let your imagination run wild! The choice is yours.

- if none of the daily prompts spark your interest, we have also included alternative prompts!

Due Date: you may start posting your work as early as you’d like, but the cut off date is the 31st of October!

So, it's well understood that the courtesy of online commentary is if you see something you like, say something they like; AKA, comment, comment, comment.

I'm just wondering if there's such a thing as TOO much. Like, is there a line between "enthusiastic fan pumped for your content" and "Standing at your window, huffing on the glass" and is that line underneath fifteen thousand words of praise, general analysis and fan theories?

This shiny new discord server is for enthusiastic creators and enjoyers of LU whumptober stories and art and anything in between! Discussion of material up to about an AO3 rating of Mature is allowed in general chats, E+ in certain others. Featuring easy-to-access prompt list references (for both normal whumptober and ai-less whumptober prompts), sprints, creator channels to post your work and ramble on about what you want, maybe voice calls sometimes. 8: what’s the juiciest scrapped plan/idea for any fic

Okay so this one is VERY dark. Like, non/con shit. Under the Red Hood era.

Black mask tricks Red Hood into a meeting where he knocks him down with a paralytic agent/muscle relaxant smth before having his way with him. Leaves him a sticky bloodied mess on the floor of whatever warehouse they were in. Batman and Nightwing find him like that a bit later and Jason just wants to die. Meanwhile Batman isn't sure if he should treat Hood as a villain or a victim. Then he realizes this is basically a kid (he's only 19 in UtrH, after all) and feels even more sickened. Jason's still physically out of it so he can't do shit atm.

Confirms what happened, who did it, all that jazz. Just another crime to add to Black Masks ever growing rap sheet.
