Hello! I love your overwatch fanfics. Could I request an Overwatch x gn reader fics? Reader takes some OW ladies to the mall. Which shops would they visit? What would they buy for themselves ( and their s/o?) Would they go to a coffee shop, or restaurant there? Characters I would be interested in are Mercy, D.Va, Widowmaker, Kiriko, and Tracer. But if you only write about the first two, that would be good enough for me. Thanks in advance.
Overwatch Mall Dates
-(seperate) mercy, dva, widowmaker, kiriko, tracer x gn!reader
Mercy
The glass doors of the shopping mall slide open as you and Angela step inside, greeted by the cool air conditioning and the hum of chatter from shoppers passing by. A gentle smile plays on her lips as she takes in the lively atmosphere. She’s dressed in casual yet elegant attire, a soft cream-colored blouse tucked into high-waisted jeans, her golden hair tied into a loose ponytail.
“I haven’t been to a mall in ages,” she admits with a chuckle, adjusting the strap of her crossbody bag. “But this will be fun, ja?
You nod enthusiastically, already envisioning all the stores you’ll visit together. She reaches for your hand, her fingers warm as they intertwine with yours.
Mercy, being the brilliant scientist she is, is naturally drawn to technology stores. As you step inside one filled with the latest gadgets, her eyes light up with curiosity. She walks up to a display of smartwatches and picks one up, studying it with interest.
“These have come a long way,” she murmurs, glancing at you. “Do you have one?”
You shake your head, and she grins. “Perhaps I should get one for you. It would be good for tracking your health!”
You chuckle, knowing she’s always looking out for your well-being. Eventually, she decides to buy a sleek, high-tech fitness band for herself and a matching one for you. She playfully fastens it around your wrist before pressing a quick kiss to your cheek.
“Now we can monitor each other,” she teases.
The next stop is a large, cozy bookstore. The scent of freshly printed pages and coffee from the café in the corner fills the air. Mercy instinctively heads toward the medical section, skimming through various books on neuroscience and cutting-edge medical research. You can’t help but admire how dedicated she is to her work.
But she doesn’t just stick to medicine. Her fingers trail over the spines of novels, and she eventually picks up a beautifully bound collection of poetry.
“I love poetry,” she confesses. “There’s something so soothing about the way words can help heal just like medicine.”
She flips through the pages and smiles. “This one is for me.”
Not wanting to leave you empty-handed, she urges you to pick something out as well. Whether it’s a novel, a graphic novel, or even a journal, she insists on buying it for you.
“A good book is an investment,” she says warmly. “And I would love to hear your thoughts when you finish it.”
Mercy isn’t overly concerned with fashion, but she enjoys looking at elegant and practical clothing. She drags you into a boutique filled with stylish yet comfortable outfits.
“Try this,” she says, holding up a soft sweater in a color she thinks would suit you. “I think it would look wonderful on you.”
She watches as you try on a few items, offering small nods of approval. When she picks something for herself—a simple yet sophisticated blouse—you insist on buying it for her as a gift.
She raises an eyebrow but doesn’t protest too much, her cheeks slightly pink. “I suppose it would be rude to refuse a gift from my partner,” she teases, kissing your cheek.
After all the shopping, you both decide to unwind at the arcade. Mercy isn’t one for video games, but she’s intrigued by the claw machines and lighthearted challenges. You guide her to a two-player shooting game, and she smirks.
“This should be easy,” she muses, gripping the plastic gun. “Precision is my specialty.”
And she proves it. With swift reflexes and sharp focus, she beats your score effortlessly. She turns to you with a triumphant smile. “Perhaps I should join Overwatch’s gaming division?” she jokes.
She also takes an interest in the claw machines, her competitive streak showing as she tries multiple times to win you a plushie. When she finally succeeds, she hands you the soft toy with an accomplished grin.
“For you, my dear.”
After hours of walking, Mercy suggests a break at a charming little coffee shop. The two of you settle into a corner booth, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. She orders a classic cappuccino, while you choose your preferred drink.
She sighs contentedly, stirring her coffee. “Days like these are important,” she murmurs. “Life moves so fast—we forget to slow down and simply enjoy it.”
You nod in agreement, reaching for her hand across the table. She smiles, giving your fingers a gentle squeeze.
You both talk about everything and nothing—your favorite parts of the day, funny moments from work, dreams for the future. There’s no rush, no urgency, just the warmth of each other’s company.
As the day winds down, Mercy looks at you fondly. “Thank you for today,” she says softly. “I had a wonderful time.”
She then tilts her head playfully. “Same time next weekend?”
You laugh, nodding. “Absolutely.”
D.Va
You meet Hana outside the mall. She grins when she sees you, adjusting her oversized sweatshirt, a soft pink that matches her signature colors. Her brown hair is tied into twin pigtails, bouncing with each excited step she takes.
"Oh my gosh, we are gonna have so much fun!" she exclaims, practically dragging you forward by the hand. "Where do we start first? Gaming store? Snacks? Ooooh, maybe we should hit up the arcade right away!"
You laugh at her enthusiasm, letting her take the lead. "You pick, Hana. It’s your day too."
She gives you a mischievous wink. "Then buckle up, babe! This is gonna be the best mall date ever."
Hana naturally starts heading toward the gaming section of the electronics store, eyes lighting up at the sight of new releases and high-end peripherals.
"Look at this headset!" she gasps, picking up a sleek model. "This would totally up my game—well, not that I need help, but it would be nice."
You chuckle. "You want it?"
She hesitates for a moment before smirking. "I mean... it’s not like I need it, but… okay, yes, I totally want it. But I’m getting you something too!" She spins around and scans the shelves before grabbing a game she knows you’ve had your eye on.
"Fair trade?" she asks, offering it with a bright smile.
You take the game, nodding. "Deal."
Next, she tugs you into an international snack shop, eyes gleaming at all the colorful packages.
"Oh my god, look! Korean honey butter chips!" she exclaims, grabbing a bag and hugging it dramatically. "These are my childhood in a bag. You HAVE to try them!"
She also stocks up on some Japanese Ramune sodas and a variety of candy, tossing a few surprise treats into your basket as well.
"We’ll need these for later," she says, winking. "Movie marathon later at my place?"
You nod eagerly. "Absolutely."
D.Va isn’t usually one for high fashion, but she loves comfy clothes and statement pieces. She pulls you into a boutique filled with stylish streetwear and casual fits.
"Oooooh, look at this hoodie!" she squeals, holding up a pastel-colored oversized hoodie with a cute bunny design. "Do you think this is too much?"
You shake your head. "It’s perfect for you!"
She tries it on, striking a dramatic pose. "Guess I gotta get it then! But only if you pick out something too."
She helps you browse, insisting on finding something that makes you feel as comfortable as she does in her new hoodie. Eventually, she picks out a piece of the same colour—maybe a jacket, or even socks, anything to subtly twin with you.
"Now we’re an unstoppable duo!" she laughs.
It wouldn’t be a date with D.Va without a trip to the arcade. She beelines straight for the rhythm games, cracking her knuckles with a confident smirk.
"Hope you’re ready to lose," she teases, already stepping onto the dance pad.
Despite your best efforts, she absolutely demolishes you at Dance Dance Revolution. She’s practically a blur, moving flawlessly to the beat.
"Not bad, babe," she teases, ruffling your hair. "But maybe I should coach you?"
You get your revenge at a racing game, where a well-timed drift secures your victory. She gasps in mock betrayal. "HOW?! I am literally a pro at this!"
She pouts but laughs, shaking her head. "Okay, okay, you got me. But next time, I’m totally getting my win back."
Before leaving, she spots a claw machine and gets that determined look in her eye. "Wait. I need to win something for you."
After several failed attempts, she finally snags a plushie—a tiny, chubby bunny that she eagerly hands over to you.
"There! Proof of my love," she declares, eagerly awaiting your reaction.
You smile, holding the plushie close. "I love it."
After hours of fun, the two of you decide to take a break at a bubble tea café. She orders a taro milk tea with extra boba and suggests you try something new.
"You always stick to the same flavors," she teases. "Branch out! Try this one, it’s my favorite."
She steals a sip of yours before you even get a chance to taste it. "Mmmm, not bad," she hums. "But mine’s better."
You both sit by the window, sipping your drinks and watching people pass by.
"This was fun," she says, resting her head against your shoulder. "I needed this. Just a chill day with you, no responsibilities, no stress."
You squeeze her hand, and she grins, nudging you. "We gotta do this again. Maybe next time, we’ll bring some friends and make it a full-on outing. But don’t worry, you’re still my favorite person to goof around with."
As the sun starts to set, she stretches and smirks. "Sooo... still on for movie night at my place? Snacks and cuddles included?"
You nod, grinning. "Lead the way."
Widowmaker
The air in the shopping mall is thick with chatter and the soft hum of background music. The neon lights from various storefronts cast colorful reflections against the polished floors. As you step inside, Amélie follows beside you, her gait elegant and deliberate, her golden eyes scanning the environment with quiet scrutiny. She wears a fitted black turtleneck, dark skinny jeans, and heeled boots—an effortlessly sophisticated look that makes her stand out even in a crowd.
“I do not understand the appeal of malls,” she says, folding her arms as she surveys the bustling scene around her. “Too many people. Too much noise.”
You smirk, nudging her playfully. “That’s why we’re here together. To make it more tolerable.”
She exhales softly, a hint of amusement in her eyes. “Very well. Lead the way, mon amour.”
Amélie isn’t one for frivolous shopping, but she does have a taste for the finer things in life. You guide her into an upscale fashion boutique, where the air smells of expensive perfumes and the racks are lined with designer pieces.
She trails her fingers over a sleek, navy-blue dress, tilting her head slightly as she examines the fabric. “This is elegant,” she murmurs, seemingly lost in thought.
You watch her with interest. “You should try it on.”
She gives you a look, arching a delicate brow. “Perhaps. But only if you find something as well.”
After some searching, she selects a deep wine-red scarf for you. “This will suit you,” she states simply before making her way to the fitting rooms.
When she steps out, the dress hugs her figure perfectly, and for the briefest moment, a small, almost imperceptible smile crosses her lips as she meets your gaze.
“Stunning,” you say sincerely.
She smirks, running her fingers through your hair. “You are not so bad yourself.”
Next, you find yourself in a specialty perfume boutique. Amélie takes an immediate interest, her sharp senses attuned to even the subtlest of fragrances.
She picks up a deep violet-colored bottle and sprays a tester strip, bringing it close to her nose. “Rich. Sophisticated. Hints of night jasmine,” she notes aloud, offering the strip to you.
You inhale and nod. “It suits you.”
She selects a second bottle, a lighter scent with citrus undertones, and holds it up to you. “And this one… it reminds me of you.”
The intimate moment is not lost on you. She purchases the jasmine fragrance for herself and, to your surprise, buys the citrus one as well.
“A reminder of today,” she murmurs, tucking it away in her bag.
At your suggestion, you step into a small, modern art gallery nestled within the mall. Amélie's sharp gaze flickers over the paintings and sculptures with something akin to appreciation.
She pauses before an abstract painting of a midnight cityscape. “There is something… haunting about it,” she observes. “A quiet loneliness.”
You nod, standing beside her. “Do you like it?”
She takes a lingering glance before turning to you. “Perhaps.”
Moving on from the painting, she notices a small, delicate figurine—a silver ballerina frozen mid-pirouette.
“You danced once, didn’t you?” you ask gently.
She nods, tracing the figurine’s pose with her fingertip. “A long time ago.”
She quickly averts her eyes and moves on without another word.
When you suggest a stop at the arcade, she gives you an incredulous look. “You think I would enjoy such a place?”
“Trust me,” you say with a grin.
The moment she sees the virtual shooting range, however, a smirk tugs at her lips. “Ah. Now I see.”
She steps up to the machine, selecting the hardest difficulty without hesitation. With effortless precision, she takes shot after shot, her reflexes impossibly fast. The attendant stares, slack-jawed, as she clears the entire challenge with a perfect score.
“You're enjoying this!” you note with a chuckle.
She lowers the plastic gun, her expression unreadable. “Perhaps.”
As the day winds down, the two of you retreat to a quiet café away from the crowds. She orders an espresso, the deep aroma of coffee curling through the air.
She watches you over the rim of her cup, studying you in that meticulous way she always does. “Did you enjoy yourself?”
You smile. “I did. And you?”
She tilts her head slightly, considering. “It was… not unpleasant.”
You chuckle. “I’ll take that as a win.”
She sets her cup down, eyes softening just slightly, and a hint of a smile on her lips. “Perhaps we should do this again sometime.”
You take her hand in yours, pressing a light kiss to her knuckles. “I’d like that.”
Kiriko
The moment you step into the shopping mall, Kiriko spins around on her heel and grins at you, her energy infectious. She's wearing a casual hoodie, paired with leggings and sneakers that let her move freely.
“I hope you’re ready for an adventure!” she exclaims, grabbing your hand and tugging you toward the first set of stores. “Malls are full of surprises, you just have to know where to look.”
You chuckle, letting her lead. “I trust your judgment. Where to first?”
She taps her chin in exaggerated thought before smirking. “Somewhere fun, obviously.”
Before you can blink, Kiriko has already pulled you into a bustling arcade, her eyes immediately locking onto the rhythm game section. She bounces on the balls of her feet, practically vibrating with excitement.
“Oh! Dance Battle?” she asks, nudging you toward the flashing game. “Think you can keep up?”
You laugh, stepping onto the pad beside her. “We’ll see.”
The moment the game starts, Kiriko moves like a blur, effortlessly stepping to the beat with perfect timing. She giggles, throwing in a playful spin before landing back on her mark. “C’mon, you gotta move faster than that!”
Despite your best efforts, she completely outmatches you, and when the round ends, she throws her arms up in victory. “That’s one win for me! What’s next?”
She challenges you to a shooting game next, surprising you with her dead-on accuracy. “Ninja reflexes,” she teases. “It’s kind of my thing.”
You shake your head, grinning. “I should’ve known.”
Before leaving, she insists on playing a claw machine. “I’m totally winning you something,” she declares confidently, cracking her knuckles.
Several failed attempts later, she groans in frustration before finally managing to grab a small fox plushie. She holds it up triumphantly. “Aha! Behold! Your very own lucky fox guardian!” She presses it into your hands with a proud grin. “Take good care of them.”
After working up an appetite at the arcade, Kiriko drags you toward a Japanese food stall. Her eyes sparkle as she surveys the selection, her fingers twitching as if unsure what to grab first.
“Oh man, they have taiyaki!” she exclaims, pointing at the golden, fish-shaped pastries filled with custard. She orders one and immediately takes a bite, sighing in satisfaction.
“You have to try this,” she insists, breaking off a piece and holding it up for you. When you take a bite, she watches you expectantly. “Good, right?”
You nod. “Delicious.”
She then buys a few packs of mochi and matcha-flavored candies, tossing an extra bag into your hands. “For later,” she says with a wink. “Snacking is an important part of any adventure.”
Kiriko’s excitement reaches new heights when she spots an anime and collectibles store. “Okay, we have to go in here.”
The moment you step inside, she’s already darting between aisles, gasping at figurines, plushies, and posters of her favorite series. She picks up a fox mask and holds it up to her face. “Think this would make me look even cooler?”
You chuckle. “You don’t need any help in that department.”
She grins, setting the mask down before grabbing a keychain featuring a tiny kitsune charm. “This one’s for you,” she says, handing it to you. “To remind you of me.”
You take it, touched by the gesture. “Thanks, Kiriko.”
You both move onto clothes shopping. Kiriko is less interested in high fashion and more in finding comfortable, stylish streetwear. She picks out a hoodie with fox ears and immediately pulls it on over her current one.
“What do you think?” she asks, spinning around. “Too much?”
You smirk. “It’s very you.”
Satisfied, she picks out a matching one for you. “Now we can be a team,” she jokes, nudging your side.
She also snags a few socks with tiny fox patterns, holding them up proudly. “These are essential,” she declares.
“Essential for what?”
She grins. “For being awesome.”
As the day winds down, Kiriko drags you to a bubble tea café, claiming it as the perfect way to end the adventure. She orders a matcha milk tea with extra pearls and excitedly watches as you try a new flavour she recommends.
She takes a long sip and leans back in her chair with a satisfied sigh. “This was a good day.”
You nod, mirroring her relaxed posture. “It was.”
She twirls her straw between her fingers before looking at you with a teasing smile. “See? Told you malls could be fun.”
You chuckle. “You're right, I had a great time.”
Kiriko stretches her arms above her head and then rests her chin on her hands. “Next time, we’ll have to plan something even bigger.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Even bigger?”
She grins. “Obviously. This is only the beginning.”
With a final sip of her drink, she hops up, reaching for your hand. “C’mon, let’s go. We still have a whole evening ahead of us.”
Tracer
The doors of the shopping mall slide open, and in a blink, Lena is already a few steps ahead of you, spinning on her heel with a bright grin. She wears a casual bomber jacket over a simple tee, ripped jeans, and her signature orange-tinted goggles perched on her forehead. Her short brown hair bounces as she shifts her weight from foot to foot, practically buzzing with excitement.
“C’mon, love! No time to waste!” she chirps, grabbing your wrist and gently tugging you forward. “We’ve got a whole mall to conquer!”
You chuckle, matching her pace. “You act like we’re on a mission.”
“Every day’s a mission if you do it right!” she winks. “First stop—hmm—oh! Let’s find somethin’ fun!”
Lena zips toward a sneaker shop, pressing her hands against the glass before turning back to you with a determined look. “Alright, hear me out. I should get some new shoes, yeah?”
She’s already inside before you can reply, weaving through the aisles, eyes darting from one display to the next. She holds up a pair of high-tops, then a flashy set of running shoes, glancing at you for approval.
“These? Or these?” she asks, holding them side by side. “Speed or style?”
You raise an eyebrow. “You’re already fast. Do you really need running shoes?”
She gasps dramatically. “Oi! Every second counts!”
Eventually, she settles on a sleek, lightweight pair—perfect for quick movement. But before leaving, she insists on picking a matching pair for you. “Gotta keep up with me somehow,” she teases, nudging you playfully.
The next stop is a videogame store, Lena darts straight to the new releases, eyes widening as she skims the shelves.
“Oh! Look at this one!” she exclaims, pointing at a fast-paced racing game. “Bet I could beat ya at it!”
You smirk. “Confident, are we?”
She grins mischievously. “More like realistic.”
After a quick back-and-forth, you both decide to pick up a multiplayer game to play together later. She slings an arm around your shoulder as you both head towards the checkout.
Lena has a very distinct style—effortlessly cool with a touch of rebellious charm. So when you both pass a trendy streetwear store, she practically bounces inside, scanning the racks with keen interest.
“Oh, now this is proper wicked,” she says, pulling out a cropped bomber jacket. She holds it up against herself, then eyes you. “You’d look great in one too!”
She insists on matching jackets, and after some playful coaxing, you agree. She also picks up a new beanie and a set of fingerless gloves, which she immediately puts on.
“Nice, right?” she asks, wiggling her fingers. “Looks like I’m ready for a heist.”
“You’re plenty mischievous without the gloves.”
She throws her head back in laughter. “Guilty as charged!”
After all the shopping, Lena’s stomach lets out an audible growl. She dramatically clutches her stomach. “I'm starving!”
You lead her toward the food court, where she scans the stalls, eyes gleaming. “Oh! Burgers? Sushi? Chicken?"
She eventually settles on a little bit of everything. As she digs in, she chats between bites, telling animated stories from past Overwatch missions.
“So there I was, blinkin’ in and out, dodging lasers, and then—bam! Right hook to the baddie, and he’s down for the count!”
You shake your head, amused. “You’re impossible.”
She smirks. “That’s why you love me.”
On your way out, Lena spots an old-school photo booth. Her eyes light up. “Oh, we have to do this!”
She pulls you inside before you can protest, stuffing a few coins into the slot. “Alright, make funny faces!”
The machine clicks away as she leans into you, pulling faces—one with her tongue sticking out, another where she pretends to be mid-blink. In the last frame, she turns suddenly and kisses your cheek just as the camera flashes.
When the photos print, she snatches them up, beaming. “Look at us, a right pair of troublemakers.”
You shake your head, taking one of the strips. “We make a good team.”
She grins, stuffing her set into her jacket pocket. “The best.”
As the two of you walk out of the mall, she loops an arm around your waist. “Same time next weekend?”
You smirk. “Only if you don’t leave me in the dust.”
She laughs, leaning into you. “No promises, love.”

a/n: hey! this is part one of my arthur morgan x fem!reader slowburn series. i know it starts off a little funky, but i promise you’re in for a treat!! feedback/ideas are greatly appreciated! 🤭🪭 this part is mostly focused on the reader developing relationships with the other members of the gang. (p.s i promise reader isn’t a mary sue 😭 this is just for build up!)
Your hands stay busy loading and spinning the barrel of your duel Widowmakers. They were beautifully customized, and you just purchased a brand new cylinder from the gunsmith. There were elk carvings on the wood handle—your holsters having the same stitching as they rest on your waist under your coat—and freshly polished metals.
You were quietly listening in on the discussions that swarmed at every angle in the Saloon. You’d traveled from Strawberry to Valentine to receive your prescription from Doctor Calloway.
Smithfield has tried a fair amount to ask you out for a dinner, or a horseback ride to Saint Denis, and as much as you loved horseback riding, you declined kindly.
He mailed you a letter asking that you come to his office to obtain it. You caught a stagecoach and paid five dollars for the ride, then took yourself to the saloon first for a quick lamb heart stew, which was something you always made sure to grab upon visiting Valentine, making you a familiar customer with the owner, Mr. Smithfield.
As you stood and adjusted your skirt while stuffing your revolver into its holster that stayed hidden under your coat, a barrel of a gun pressed against your back. Your eyes shot open and you refused to turn your head to see who your threat was.
The man stunk of alcohol, cigarettes, and pure grime, and the scent only grew stronger as you felt his face press against your hair to whisper in your ear.
“Act natural, pretty thing.”
His body closed in against your back with his hip bones digging into your waist. He wasn’t very tall, nor muscular, perhaps about five foot six.
“Do you always greet a pretty woman like this?” You hiss quietly as he twists the gun into your back, guiding you out. He makes sure to snatche your purse from off the table you were seated at—which you didn’t mind too much since you were struggling financially with only about thirty dollars to your name—you didn’t even get to pay your tab off. You hoped Smithfield would understand.
“Shut up and move, girl.” He rejoined.
Undoubtedly, your heart raced in your chest as you both stepped out of the Saloon. There’s another stagecoach with a few other men seated, causing your eyes to widen. This is a kidnapping, not a robbery, you thought, and that was when sweat began to head down from your scalp.
“She’s a good one, Welts!” one snorted. He had crooked and several missing teeth, a lazy eye, and his brown hair was greasy, and he just looked downright disgusting.
“O’Driscoll will be real happy!”
That was when you froze in your place as you were turned around and patted down for any extra goods; the male in front of you had managed to find a pearl necklace from the depths of your dress pocket, and you scrambled to try and grab it from him.
“Please, don’t take that, take anything else.” You were surprised to find yourself pleading to this man. To an O’Driscoll.
Welt’s head tilted and he let out a loud laugh before he took his revolver, slamming the barrel and cylinder rough against your cheekbone, immediate pain and heat surged as it quickly began to swell, and your body twists, landing on the ground with your palms flat in the dirt below you.
You reach one of your hands—that had grains of tiny rocks stuck in your bleeding skin—up to touch your cheek, a quick feeling of regret causing you to yank your head away from the pain.
“You’re a scum!” you try to turn your head, yet he grabs a full fist of your hair and unsheathes his knife, cutting off a thick chunk of your locks. You gasped weakly.
The men above you bursted into laughter while instead tears stung your eyes. “Speak when spoken to, woman,” he grimaced. You feel for the hair he sliced, and your lip quivers. These were definitely Colm O’Driscoll’s men.
Welts gripped your upper arm, and pulled you onto your feet. Accidentally, you rip your dress from your feet getting caught in the fabric as you struggle to stand with the man swinging you around like a lasso.
You feel his revolver get pinned into your back once again as he taps the barrel against you, gesturing you to walk towards the coach. You hesitated, which he didn’t take kindly. You heard the hammer click, and that’s when you caught yourself walking.
“Hello, gentlemen!” an exuberant voice joins in, and you turn your head to look at the man. He was neatly shaven, besides just a bit of clean stubble along his chin. His hair seemed slicked back at the top, even with a black hat, and he was in a long-sleeved white and blue striped shirt, a black vest, and black slacks.
His boots were black with brown spurs. He had his hand on his belt, though not over his holsters that you think were home to dual revolvers. You were just about tired of seeing men with guns.
Guns. You thought. I’m as dumb as a rat—you shimmy your arm down to press against your waist, feeling for your Widowmakers. You felt the hardness with your wrist, playing it calm, and cool. Welts was just as dumb, if not more—he hasn’t even realized you were armed, not that you knew how to use them, anyway. Your hand drags away. Most likely, you wouldn’t be able to beat the man in a sharpshoot.
“Now, a little birdy told me you were being not so nice to this innocent woman, is that true?” The black-haired male, being passive aggressive, sends you kind eyes that leave you feeling skeptical.
You notice his friends.
One was in a low ponytail, and had a sombrero on his head, and the other had olive skin and a hat with a small feather in it’s band.
“She’s my wife, she’s drunk, and these men have offered to take us home. Go along with your business.” Welts snarled as he pushed your shins into the step of the stagecoach. Never in a million years would you even think to date or marry an O’Driscoll—especially not him.
His hair was greasy, and there was collected dirt behind his ears. With his gapped teeth, and his uncared for eyebrows. You wanted to murder the ratbag for laying his dirty fingers on you.
“You tellin’ me the little birdy is a liar?” the man asks, his tone lowering.
“Hell is your problem?” Welts’ eyebrows furrowed.
His gun against your back was starting to feel like it was forming a circular mark on your back from the muzzle.
“I surely don’t remember a time where I saw a loyal man pinning a gun to his wife’s back,” another one of the man’s friends appeared. He had darker skin, Native American features, and a braid running down his own back.
His arms were folded against his chest that was covered in a brown long-sleeved tunic.
“Do you know this man, miss?” His eyes drag to yours with a softer expression creasing his features.
Once you open your mouth to speak, you’re silenced with a quick shoulder shove forcing you into the coach.
“She does, now leave us be.” He sat himself down next to you. Your head turns to look at them as your face twists into fear.
There were five men; the black-haired one, the one with the braid, the male with the ponytail, the scarred Scottish man, and another male who was a bit taller and quieter. His hair was more brown, his face was scruffy, and he wore a black gamblers hat.
“Come on now, hold your horses, compadre!” The one with the ponytail waved his hand in the air, though the man standing in the front seat of the stagecoach flicked the reins against the hinds of both of the gray and black horses, causing them to squeal and chase out of Valentine.
Panic surged through you, raising your adrenaline. When you try to crane your head to see if the men decided to leave, your chest is pushed back against the seat by one of Welts’ companions. Suddenly, the one who’d exchanged you the soft look—which you now have come to believe was the leader—yelled out, and all the men followed his command. “Saddle up, boys, we got ourselves a couple’a maggots!”
You heard two, or three, or four, of them whistle a call to their horses and moments later, they were chasing down the stagecoach. You felt a tinge of hope, and trusted that these men would save you.
“Can these sons’a bitches go any faster?!” Welts hands gripped the seat the driver sat on with his head turned over his shoulder.
When the shooting began, you quickly ducked and let out a distressed noise. Bullets flew all around you, and you covered your ears. You looked up, and immediately the driver had a bullet pierce his skull. You screamed, some of the red paste splattering onto your face. The driver fell off the front of the coach, and you gasped as the wheels ran over the body, the lump making you wobble. You lift yourself up, and take a hold of the seats to stabilize yourself.
The horses stressed, unsure what to do, and you looked around frantically. Another one of the men attempted to cross over and take hold of the reins, but he received the same fate, instead his body leaned over yours, and you pushed it off the edge before it toppled on you.
“Girl!” One of the men yelled, catching your attention. “Do ya know how to drive that thing?!” His accent was thick, and his voice was deep with a slight rasp. You’d gotten a more clear look at his face now that it wasn’t half-covered with his hat. “I said, do ya know how to drive it?!” His horse sped up along the side of the coach, and you frantically nodded your head. You used to be a Stagecoach Taxi at fourteen. You just hoped you still had it in you.
You tore the fabric of the hem of your dress some more until the fabric stopped just above your knees, then hopped over before you’re pulled back by the neck; a man’s arm choking you and smashing both sides of your head as he squeezed his arm making you fall back onto the floor. “Stupid bitch,” the man huffed and grunted, shooting off a few rounds.
“Arthur, Arthur, no!” the leader yelled from behind. “You’ll risk shootin’ her! Put that gun down!”
He was right; the coach was teetering from side to side, and would be sure to tumble off the edge of a cliff if it were to get close enough.
They’d be sure to go off-road with the horses only knowing to go in one direction at the speed they were currently.
These horses were abused, whip welts covering both their hinds and backs, it was disgusting.
You sputtered out a few coughs as the man cut off your entire circulation, your fingers to pry at his arms and your nails scratch at his skin.
He drops you and you slump onto the floor. You hit your head on some metal, yet quickly recover. While the man is distracted, you throw your head at his pants and bite on his groin through the slacks, immediately, he lets out a yowl and accidentally pulls the trigger of his Litchfield Rifle as he falls off the carriage, which ricochets off a steel base, and strikes your shoulder.
A cry leaves your throat and you slap your hand over the wound. Blood seeps through the cloth of your ruffled top, but you swing yourself back over and take hold of the reins.
You feel your head pounding, but you pull back the reins and attempt to slow the horses down, though they don’t abide. The horses are panicked, unsure how to react.
“Don’t stop the coach!” the man with the feather in his hat, shooting over his shoulder.
”Well, what the hell do I do then?!” Your eyebrows furrow. “There’s more! They just keep comin’!” you turn your head at his words, and your eyes widen to see more O’Driscoll men trailing behind on coaches and horses.
“Jump on my horse!” The man with the striped shirt yells in your direction, and you look at him as if he’s crazy. “I’ll grab you, don’t worry about falling, but hurry it up!” His voice booms, going rasp.
“Now! Now!” He pulls back the reins of his horse, causing it to halt, and with a running start, you jump off the coach and onto his horse, his arm pulling you up as you almost fall off the horse’s hind to sit upright.
The horses to the coach attempt to stop at the edge of the cliff they ran too, though the coach pushes them over. You gasp, and turn your head as your hands grip the man’s jacket that was in front of you.
“Sorry for the inconvenience, sweetheart,” he clears his throat, and turns his horse around. His friends caught up, and their horses skidded to a stop.
“Dutch! What the hell was that for?” The male, who had directed you to not stop the stagecoach, his face was twisted with fury.
“Do you trust me, or not, son?” The man, who now is identified as Dutch, questions him, then elbows you lightly. “John Marston, he’s the hothead if you couldn’t tell, ain’t that right, boys?” He let out a humorous laugh. “Damn straight.” The one with the sombrero howls.
You had to keep yourself from passing out, which failed miserably. “You alright back there, miss?” He nudged your body again. Your eyes began to shut on you, and you slumped against the man’s back, then began to slide off the horse and onto the ground.
“Shit, shit!” Dutch took quick notice of your wounds. “Ain’t any of you tell me she was shot!” He wheezed, rushing off his horse. Everything faded to black.

Overwatch characters watching your kid
I've been thinking about writing some silly short stories about OW characters getting stuck watching someone's kid, but I figured I would make this guide for my headcannon for the kind of babysitter each of them would be.
Brigitte and Reinhardt would make you the most nervous with their methods. Lots of rough-housing, throwing them around and into the air, giving your kid sugar, letting them climb things, and overall just encouraging mayhem and rule-breaking. "You mom/dad doesn't let you do this at home? Well, they're not here, are they?" Your kid will come home thoroughly exhausted, but bitter about you not being as fun as they are.
Orisa would make the same mistakes as Brigitte and Reinhardt, but more out of ignorance and inexperience. Like letting your kid stay up too late, because she doesn't understand why going to bed at a decent time is important, or feeding them something that makes them sick because that's what they said they wanted to eat. Unintentionally lets your kid walk all over her, but once you teach her how it's done, she'll be your go-to option when you need a break.
Zenyatta would be so intrigued by the natural imagination and curiosity of children. He'd provide lots of different toys, art supplies, and time for unrestricted and uninstructed play. A one-man enrichment program. Just don't try to tell him there are boy toys and girls toys. Your kid will be allowed to play with whatever they want. He would also unironically have a blast playing pretend with dolls or action figures. I'm talking a 25-part narrative with backstories, lore, worldbuilding, and an Endgame-style final conflict.
Genji, Kiriko, Tracer, and B.O.B would be the kings and queens of "don't tell your parents." Extra screen-time, taking them out for ice cream, staying up a little later then their normal bedtime, etc. What I would call "a healthy amount of rule-breaking." They have everyone else convinced they are Responsible™ but you can't help noticing that your kid is always excited to hangout with them.
Ana and Torbjorn could be depended on the same way you can trust grandma and grandpa. They've had kids, so they know all the tips, tricks, and games to keep your kid clean, fed, safe, and happy. Just don't tell them some dumb shit like "organic, non-gmo fruits only." Your kid will be eating bananas from the supermarket like everyone else. But for more sensible rules, even the ones they don't agree with, they will follow them.
Echo will make you fill out a 200-question survey and write an essay on how you want your kid cared for. She will follow every instruction down to the letter, and send you updates every 30 minutes. If your kid sneezes, she will call you to ask about it. The downside is your kid will probably hate her for being such a rules monger.
Baptiste, Illari, Lucio, and Sojourn would try so hard to be responsible and follow your instructions, but puppy-eyes work on them 80% of the time. Your home will look like a warzone when you get back, but they'll help you clean up.
Lifeweaver, Pharah, Mei, and Zarya would get a whiff of that specific smell babies have that makes your DNA scream at you to make one yourself. They would be the sweetest, most gentle caretakers on this list. They'll spend most of the time snuggling on the couch, watching T.V. and drinking hot coco. Would let your kid give them a makeover, paint their nails, and play with their hair. Would read to and rock them to sleep, tuck them in really snug. They'd probably look forward to seeing your kid again, and every time you happen upon one of them, they'll only ask what's going on with the kiddo.
Sombra, Symmetra, and Widowmaker would rather be water-boarded then spend five minutes with those sticky-fingered cunt goblins you call kids.
Ashe, Hanzo, and Winston would happily agree to babysit for you, thinking they will be serviceable at it. How hard could it be? Then an hour later they call you, on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and beg you to come back, because your kid is crying or throwing a tantrum. They definitely have the potential to be great caretakers, but they would need someone to walk them through it at first.
Bastion and Sigma definitely WANT to give babysitting a try, but they understand why that's probably not a safe idea. They would question your intelligence if you asked them.
Cassidy and D.va would take your kid to McDonalds or somewhere else with else with a play-place, and let them go wild while they sit on a bench nearby. They will do the bare minimum amount of work to keep your kid alive, because they have better things to do. Would only babysit as a favor for you if no one else is available.
Mercy is married to her work, and Ramattra is dedicated to his mission. If you somehow convince them to watch your kid for even a single hour, they'll set-up a playpen with whatever toys they like, toss in a sippy cup and snack every now and then, and ignore their existence while they do their usual business.
Doomfist, Moira, Reaper, and Soldier: 76 would tape your kid to a chair the first time it annoys them. I know there's the fandom joke of S76 being the dad of the team, but he's always come off as grumpy and impatient to me.
Your kid would love the junkers (Junker Queen, Junkrat, Roadhog, Wrecking Ball) for all the wrong reasons. They would teach your kid how to make a grenade launcher out of plastic bottles and rubber bands, 37 new swear words, and how to punch people in the throat. Unless you want to get a call from the school about your kid blowing up the chemistry room, I would choose literally anyone else to babysit.
Mauga would use your kids to get dates. He'll take your daughter to a dance class and talk to any single parents about how much of a family man he is and how difficult being a single dad. He'll take your son to play catch in a park so he has an excuse to take his shirt off and flex his muscles. He'll coach your kid to walk up to someone and say, "my uncle thinks your pretty, so maybe you can play with us."

hey i'm so sorry i know you've linked to it probably a million times but i can't find it: can i have the link to your hawkeye reading list pleaseee and thank you 🥳
Hi Hi!! Please never apologize for asking I have the most unorganized blog in all hawkeye accounts LMFAOOO so not being able to find recs in here is understandable
Im assuming you mean Clint, but just in case not I will add Kate's in at the end!
So First of course is this icon's first appearance in
Tales of Suspense #57 (1964) - (he also shows up a few more times in tales of suspense but obviously this is the most important one!)
The Avengers #16 (1965) is when he joins and becomes our favorite little Avenging Archer (forewarning he is a little shit here. His favroite pass time in the beginning is driving Steve up a wall. I personally find this dynamic very funny but some dont)
He is with the Avengers for a really long time. Like more than 150+ comics(he isn't Hawkeye the whole time though as he does have a little bit I believe that starts in Avengers #63-#98 where he is Goliath. He comes back to us as Hawkeye in Avenger #99)
Hawkeye (1983) is his first solo ever! It's a mini series but its one of my personal favroites!
West Coast Avengers (1984)- this is where we get to see him take lead in a brand new team in California!
The West Coast Avengers (1985)- this is just a contitnuation of the previous mentioned!
Solo Avengers (1987)- We find out more tea about Clint's life prior to avenging here
He stays with the West Coast Avengers for a hot minute before we get his second solo
Hawkeye (1994) he's reaaaaal tough guy big feelings in this one
then he shows up in Avengers again in 1995 (yeah I know but hey he is the avenging archer so that's where youre gonna find him the most) He even gets a new lil fit and everything (he looks like he belongs in a boyband and I love it)
Thunderbolts (1998) is where Clint shows up ( in 2001 I believe) and takes over the team! He essentially helps try to guide them into being a good hero team and if I remember correctly I think its either #74-#75 where he leaves the Thunderbolts (I can't remember exactly I'm sorry)
Hawkeye (2003)- a third solo!!! look at our little guy go!!!
Then he... well he dies LMFAOOO in Avengers (2004) and the Clint Barton you knew and love is about to change forever
The New Avengers #26 (2006) if i remember correctly and it's.. well it's a sad one and he isn't the lovely Hawkeye when he comes back either. This is where Clint becomes Ronin, which is a rather dark time for Clint.
Secret Invasion (2008) This is also sad im sorry LMFAOOO Clint's morals are tested often as Ronin
The New Avengers (2009) Again he is ronin here so if youre looking for Clint just as Hawkeye he isn't here but don't worry he is back as Hawkeye soon enough
New Avengers: The Reunion (2009) whooooo's he getting a reunon with ;)
Hawkeye & Mockingbird (2010) guess what, that's who he got a reunion with I LOVE THIS COMIC
Widowmaker (2010) is basically a continue on of ^ with Nat involved
Avengers: Solo (2011) CLINT!!!! AS!!! HAWKEYE!!! Doin Hawkeye shit
Hawkeye: Blindspot (2011) do you like family angst? Good. Here. Have the family angst.
There is an event going on around this time called Fear Itself that he is involved in and also he is in Secret Avengers (2012) starting #21 or #22 where he becomes the leader.
Hawkeye (2012) We all know and love this bad boy. You could fit so many tears into it.
Secret Avengers (2013) again??? yes again.
Secret Avengers (2014) haha yeah again
Hawkeye Vs Deadpool (2014) it's fun! it's cute! Wade makes me laugh and he has a soft spot for the Hawkeyes
All-New Hawkeye (2015) there is some retconning done here
I don't wanna talk about Civil War II (2016) it makes me really sad LMFAOOO but yes he is in it and it should be read because well.. he makes a BIGGGGGG choice here that I feel has def echoed in his characterization since and has caused lots of misleading beliefs about Clint
Occupy Avengers (2016) Woooooooh I like this one it's fun
Secret Empire (2017) He is in it if I remember correctly but I grouch about this whole concept because I thought it was stupid. It gives the same energy as "What if Superman was evil" and I'm sure as a DC fan you know how annoying that concept is.
Generations: Hawkeye(2017) This is soooo cute I love this one. Kate meets a younger Clint in it and they run around together
Tales of Suspense #101 (2018) This will never not make me laugh. Him and Bucky working together is always funny
He is also involved in Kate's Hawkeye run during this time but I've got that on her list
West Coast Avengers (2018) I liked this. I love when Kate and Clint work together and I liked seeing the nods to the original WCA
Hawkeye: Freefall (2020) crying puking throwing up it's so good and fun until it's not fun anymore
Black Widow (2020) Not my favroite run for Nat... feels like the tone is off but he is in it
Thunderbolts (2022) I liked this...would have been super cool if Marvel had kept it as a continuing run because I feel like it didn't get to finish it's story. I'm still sour about it.
NOW obviously this is not everything ever he has ever been in and I'm certainly not perfect enough to have read every. single. appearance. So please forgive me if I missed something important cause sometimes my brain is not so greeat with memory.
x Kate Reading List!

Hey, can you do Widowmaker with an S/O who has a chest tattoo?
Skin on Skin - Widow smut drabble NSFW.
Her lips drag across your cheek before blowing lightly against your ear "What is it you wanted to show me ma chérie?" a hand falls to hold you by the lower back, securing your place in her lap. You lean back, arching into her briefly before bringing your hands to either side on the hemming along your shirt before pulling the cotton fabric off yourself slowly. Amélie's electric amber eyes tracked every inch of skin revealed as your shirt lay way to moonlit skin. You paused just right before your bra, nerves taking over. This doesn't go unnoticed by Amélie who lifts a hand and holds it over yours and guiding it slowly upward, peeling the shirt over your head, her eyes staring at your joined hands then flickering down at the very noticeable tattoo on your chest. A soft gasp leaves her purpled lips, as her gaze wanders over the inked skin with wonder and care.
Fingers trailing over the webbings of a spider before landing on said spider at the apex of your chest. A little sentence in French was a prelude to a story Amélie told you on one of your first nights together out on the Eiffel tower; was tattooed right below your collarbone. It told of a lone spider finding love in the rain. Faintly glowing eyes flashed briefly before tearing up a little, the hand that trailed along your chest, dragged its way you to your jaw and cradled its weight gently. Her forehead meets yours in a gentle press, violet lashes fluttering shut, her cool breath ghosting against your lips "There are no words in any language that I can use that can describe how much I love you chérie." Your lips move to meet hers in a slow kiss, the weight of the room seems to float as her hands start to roam around your body finding purchases where your breath hitches. Amélie pulls away gently, her eyes flitting open and her pupils dilate "But perhaps, I can express this love through worship, skin to skin, my hands and mouth will find you in places others will never know of.-" a kiss to your neck, fangs pressing gently "This black Widow, loves too much to share, in the blood I've spilled over these hands, it is a pleasure to know they can still hold your warmth in them." a hand falls to your shoulder as her fangs pause "And still you will not fear, a fly before the spider, a reminder that I can love and can be loved, fear not little fly, You will be kept safe in my web" the Widowmaker's fangs take a sharp plunge into your neck, tearing a gasp from your throat. You can feel Amélie lips curl into a fang-limited smirk as you breathe start to pick up in volume as they shift into soft whines. Her fingers graze along your abdomen before dipping into the waistband of your undergarments, fangs retracting as she kisses you with bloodied lips. Gasping and choking on air, Amélie's fingers slide across your heat, picking up slick with every gentle movement. "Look at me chérie" you fight the urge to throw your head back as a lone finger slide around your entrance, dipping inside to the first knuckle and curling. Your eyes meet hers "That's it, I want this picture of you burned into my memory for all my days." a second finger pushes its way along the first and a thumb finds its way to the apex of your heat, rubbing insistently. Moans break loose from your throat and Amélie sighs in appreciation "sing for me lovely" her fingers pick up speed and she pulls you closer into her torso, leaving open mouthed kisses along your neck. You've lost control of your volume as Amélie imitates your moans by humming into your neck after each one. You clutch onto her back, nails digging into the gaps of her shoulder blades, head thrown back, mouth open in a song of pleasure. It feels as though an inferno burning brightly in the passion that has consumed the two of you, Amélie stoking the coals inside, the pleasure once but a flame, now rages throughout your body as you reach your peak, quaking violently on her lap. She holds you through it, her fingers rocking you through the orgasm and the aftershocks of it before slowing and stilling inside you. "You are so very loved ma chérie, never forget that you've gone and tattooed your love for me across your chest, so I have left mine in the form of a matching spider bite." Looking behind Amélie you catch a glimpse of a bloodied bite on the junction between your neck and shoulder. You feel the thighs beneath yours disappear as Amélie stands and pulls your up into a carry before walking the two of you to the bathroom, your hands flying around her neck to situate yourself securely in her hold. The sniper lets out a silken laugh before pressing a light kiss against your temple.
A/N: IM BACK BITCHES. WITH SOFT WIDOW SMUT. IT'S NOT MAGE SMUT UNLESS THERE'S BITING (: ILL PROOF READ LATER IM REALLY TIRED ENJOY!

Gear's Guide To Engineer in MVM
First question: why should you listen to me? Because I play this gamemode daily, on expert and nightmare modes. i think i can at least give some tips on how to play engineer
also, sorry this took so long, i literally forgot i accidentally posted this privately instead of a draft and i never came back to actually reupload as not a private post LMAO anyway guide below
First things first, UPGRADES!
Start: Sentry
I always upgrade my sentry first, as I don't need to be on field with it as much as it needs to be on field. Often, I can leave my sentry alone for a few minutes while I go either upgrade myself, move buildings, or sometimes chase bomb (it happens, usually when you're moving your sentry and a bot gets past).
This obviously depends on your mission and starting money amount, but you want to try to upgrade your sentry's building health, your ammo capacity, and dispenser range first.
This is just a random mission i clicked on (custom map), and this is what my credits let me get. You always want to max out your dispenser range, as your teammates need it more than you do.
As you get more money (or if you're in nightmare with a bunch of money), you keep maxxing out your building health, get only 1 tick of sentry firing speed, then move onto your metal.
You only get one tick of firing speed, as the lovely shouc has pointed out the other ticks doesn't do anything. This goes for heavy as well. Save your money.
You only really get 2 way if you're in nightmare, as you don't get breaks in between to properly upgrade. The Disposable Sentry isn't needed, you can get it if you have enough money and you don't need any other upgrades. My only exception is in Ghost Town, I always get it before the spies show up to put behind us. It kinda helps. Otherwise, unless you have a fuckton of money and have no other upgrades needed, ignore the disposable sentry.
For example, here's a custom nightmare map. As you see, maxed health, 2 way since it's nightmare, one tick of firing speed, max dispenser range, and some metal. I actually had more money, but I save that for other upgrades. As more money comes in, if im not getting constantly demolished on the field I typically opt for maxing the metal.
CANTEENS:
For Canteens, upgrade buildings are your best friend. I don't literally touch any other one unless I'm another class. The literal only time I've not gotten them was in a glitched map where we needed to clear the tanks asap, otherwise they'd get stuck. As soon as I used my 3 crits I immediately went back to the upgrades.
However, don't let me stop you. If you want to run crits, that's fine. just be mindful of your loadout. I would say if you don't want to run upgrade buildings, maybe try rescue ranger and jag. I haven't tried it myself, so I'm not sure how it'd turn out, but that's the beauty of this game.
WEAPONS:
So.. This really depends on what you're running. For MVM primaries, you will want to either use Rescue Ranger, or Widow Maker. You could run Frontier Justice, but that's only really good for mini sentry, which you will almost never run in MVM, so I say ignore it.
Most players will choose Rescue Ranger, which I don't play with much, but when I do this is how I typically upgrade my Rescue.
I typically try to focus on reload, clip, and firing speed. Most people using rescue (myself included) use it to move the buildings around, and to heal it. You want to be able to heal your machines fast if you're using this one. (also side note I just clicked on a random loadout, that's why I have mini sentry equipped. this is not indicative off what you should use loadout wise.)
Now, this may freak some people out, but I'm a Widowmaker main in MVM. You might be thinking, "why the fuck would i run widowmaker?" Well, Widowmaker is good for tank busting! That sentry firing speed is great, and I also use it to replenish my metal. This is how I upgrade my Widowmaker :
If there's a tank that round/second I'm at the upgrade station, I'll try to focus on the firing speed. Sometimes I'll even ignore the projectile penetration if I don't have enough money.
For beginners, I'd probably recommend you stay on RR, as you'll still be learning how to move around and such. However, that's entirely up to you. If you don't mind running all over the place to grab your stuff instead of just using RR, go ahead! That's the main downside to this.
For secondary, I always go wrangler. I'm usually playing expert/nightmare modes, so giant medics are common. If you have a giant medic, wrangle your sentry and don't let it target the medic's target heal. Focus on the Giant medic with your wrangled sentry. Though, in lower modes, you can go with another secondary of your choosing. Short circut isn't the best, but it is fun. You don't really ever use your pistol/secondary (minus wrangler) unless you actively choose to, so just be aware.
ENGINEER/YOURSELF:
How i go about it is when I have the money, I always go with maxing my fire and crit resistances first. As I get more money, I move onto to bullet and blast after my sentry is maxed. Of course, this always depends on the map for the exact order, sometimes you have to go ahead and get your resistances in order to keep upgrading your sentry. If I have to do this, I always make sure I have at least a tick or two of building health before doing so.
This is usually how I try to upgrade myself when I have the money:
This is typically what I use for nightmare modes, as they give you a bunch of money. The movement speed helps you scurry around to move between buildings and to help you move faster when you're carrying a building. Of course, this is something I normally get only on nightmare, as most expert/advanced missions don't give you the money you need to get what is required first and the the movement speed.
This is also map dependent, but if there's a good sentry spot (will be elaborating soon) that has a pile of boxes to jump on, and you're constantly being hindered by these boxes, you can also get the jump height. Of course, this isn't always needed, and I only really get the jump height if I'm in custom mvm. Normal default mvm you don't really have maps that need you to jump up, so I just usually ignore it.
BUILDING PLACEMENTS:
Teleporter:
This one depends on your map. Like for my example here, the doors are spread apart from another, so I just picked the closest door to the path and placed my entrance tele.
In maps like below where the entraces line up with each other, put your tele in the middle. So many people will put it on just one door, which is okay if there are 2 engineers (the other can put his on the other), but usually most do not play 2 engie. It's not a issue for faster classes, but for heavy and soldier it's a massive inconvenience. Your job as Engineer is to help with bomb and also ease said inconveniences. Don't be a dick.
For your tele exit, try to keep it toward the front half of the map. My general rule of thumb when I'm not in nightmare mode is to try to put it not super far from front, but not to the point where if the bomb gets past the tele it becomes useless. This usually puts it towards the middle or 3/4 of the way in the map. You also want to make sure its not directly visible to bomb path, as you don't want anyone who's teleported in to be immediately targeted. Like in the image below, you can see the bomb path isn't far, and it's in a safe corner.
When I'm placing my tele, if I'm not sure about the placement in correlation to the bomb path, I'll pretend I'm a robot and trace the path myself to see how it goes. Usually if I see the tele at any point, I move it.
With Nightmare Mode, I treat teleporters for the most part the same, I just try to keep it on the ground floor and closer to the front than I would for a regular multiwave mission, as it's handy for getting upgrades.
For example, here is where i try to keep it when I'm playing ghost town:
depending on the path, I sometimes have it on the other side with the smaller fence, but I usually have it on this side.
Sometimes though, on some maps there are no safe spots on the ground. It sucks, but it happens. For those instances, I'll try to put it up top that is close to the front but you can easily access it.
Dispenser:
For your dispenser, listen to me when I say this: Your dispenser is NOT FOR YOU. It is for your teammates.
You generally want to build your sentry near an ammo pack, so you can leave your dispenser for your teammmates. So many people seem to think of only the Engineer's perspective, which is need ammo for building = keep dispenser near, but that's bad thinking. You need to consider the perspective of the other classes. If you don't have much experience with those other classes, play them. It'll give you an idea of how to play better as Engie.
Try to build it on the ground, at the front, behind something. You want to have it near the edge, so you teammates don't have to stand behind the wall to recharge. You don't want to build it out in the open, so in case if your teammates are very low on health, they'll have a spot to hide and heal. Try to move it with your team. If you're pushed back, and your team begins to move back forward, literally pick up your dispenser and follow them, then try to place it on wall edges.
As you see above, the dispenser can be accessed from most sides. This position is typically the best, as it lets heavies have a constant replenishment of ammo while still being able to shoot at the front. This also applies for soldiers, demos, depending on how the map is set up even snipers too. Scouts and pyros can easily swing by for ammo as well before getting back onto the field.
Sentry:
So this is a building you will be moving a lot, and that's usually because of bomb. As Engineer, I usually try to stay with the bomb no matter what, unless a tank needs help and I think the rest of the team can cover bomb while I'm with tank. As soon as bomb begins to get pushed back again though, I'll leave tank for bomb unless it's nearly to hatch.
For actual placement, try to have it kinda like your dispenser: behind a wall, near the edge. You want to try to angle it where your sentry can still target plenty, but have it behind something so it doesn't immediately get targeted and destroyed. It can be kinda tough to figure how to set it up, but with practice it'll become easier to spot.
You can try to put it above the robots on a bridge like this (though this picture was actually at spawn on an overhang, i moved it shortly after bc i realised a spawn was behind me. however, on actual bridges this will be fine usually). I like bridges, as I can swap sides pretty quickly depending on the bomb and robots streaming through.
This is another good spot, as it's in the direct line of sight for bomb for a good range, the robots won't immediately attack it, and you can usually kill more robots than them kill your sentry.
Now, sometimes I will put it more in the open, like this. There is the wall right there, so if I need to pull back my sentry and hit it, I have the cover. I also try to set up in places where i know i can move around freely after the bomb spawns in, like for example in Ghost Town, I will try to build on top once the bomb gets past the first couple of fences so i can place my sentry alongside bomb path and not have to worry about getting shot/blown up.
more examples of sentry spots:
Honestly, with sentries it is a choose your own adventure, as you'll probably be the closest to it most of the time. I've just found it easier to try to keep it near the edge of something as it's harder to hit/I can pick up and move to repair quickly.
I feel like I need to add more to this but reading this I feel like i've hit most of the main points, so I think I'll end this here. If you have questions or anything reblog with them, or just ask me and I'll try to answer! A lot of my tips I've had to take awhile to learn, and even with them I still fail sometimes.
Just know that Engineer in mvm can be stressful, and if you're seriously getting upset over not playing him please take a break! He's not really hard to learn, it's just seriously overwhelming at first and can seem like it's way too much to handle.
I hope my little guide helped some! Now go out there and beat those machines!

Pantera: Metal Magic (1983)
There's a bootleg version of Pantera out there right now, touring the world without its founding siblings, so forgive me for not feeling too guilty about owning this "unofficial" (as they say) pressing of the group's debut album, 1983's Metal Magic.
I mean, listening to this thing is punishment enough!
Although Pantera would later disown it (indeed, make believe it never existed) after reinventing themselves as an extreme metal powerhouse via 1990's Cowboys from Hell, this was the first of their four, much-maligned independently released LPs.
It also featured Phil Anselmo's oft-forgotten vocal predecessor, Terrence Lee Glaze, who joined guitarist 'Diamond' Darrell Abbott, his drumming brother Vincent 'Vinnie Paul' Abbott, and bassist Rex Brown on the path to hair metal humiliation.
To be fair, Pantera were no different than countless other fledgling American metal bands of the early 1980s in their wanton worship of '70s hard rock heroes like Aerosmith, Van Halen, and especially Kiss, so Metal Magic was just a product of those influences.
Opening cut "Ride My Rocket" is essentially a rewrite of "Detroit Rock City" and "Rocket Ride" (not a very good one, at that), while "Latest Lover," "Sad Lover" (SO many lovers!) and the title cut sound like sleazy Sunset Strip knockoffs (plus Def Leppard).
Granted, the Mötley Crüe-riffed "I'll Be Alright" and Ratt-infested "Widowmaker" are well-constructed, comparatively speaking, and if you can survive its idiotic lyrics, "Rock Out" ("with your ...") culminates in some tasty shredding from Darrell.
But nothing illustrates Pantera 1.0's inexperience and plain bad taste better than synthesizer-addled fiascos like "Biggest Part of Me" (the inevitable power ballad), "Tell Me if You Want It" (listen for Glaze's cringey "sexy" whispers), and "Nothing On (But the Radio)" (where new wave meets meat-headed testosterone).
Not surprisingly, Metal Magic's only saving grace -- and I wouldn't even go that far, 'cos it's truly unsalvageable -- was the already discernible talent of Pantera's guitar-hero-in-waiting.
And waiting was precisely what lay ahead for Pantera, as they stumbled through their heavy metal apprenticeship on ensuing hair metal misfires, Projects in the Jungle (1984), I Am the Night ('85), and the transitional Power Metal ('88).
There's a reason you still can't experience any of these records except in bootleg form -- much like Pantera's current touring line-up.
p.s. -- Some of these words were completely rearranged from my old, frankly confused All-Music Guide review of Pantera's Metal Magic.
More Pantera: Cowboys from Hell, Vulgar Display of Power, Far Beyond Driven, Reinventing the Steel.

Could you write something for like Widowmaker x reader comfort? Like they’re crying and she cuddles them or something? I don’t mind which format, you could set it out as headcanons if you want, whichever is easiest
Widowmaker x Reader comfort:
The silence in the room is heavy, pressing against your chest like an unbearable weight. The day has been long—too long—and all the feelings you’ve been bottling up are finally spilling over. You sit curled up on the edge of the couch, knees tucked to your chest, as tears streak silently down your face. You’re trying to keep quiet, not wanting to draw attention, but the muffled sniffles and shuddering breaths betray you.
Amélie notices, of course. She always notices.
Widowmaker, with her ever-sharp senses and uncanny ability to read the unspoken, steps softly into the room. Her usually cold, calculating demeanor is replaced by something softer, though still hesitant. She’s not used to this kind of intimacy—comfort isn’t her forte—but the sight of you like this pulls at a part of her that she thought was long dead.
She tilts her head, her violet skin catching the dim light, and her golden eyes narrow with concern. “Mon cœur… why are you crying?” Her voice is low, almost a whisper, yet it carries the weight of genuine care.
You don’t respond immediately, wiping at your eyes as if that will somehow hide the evidence of your emotions. “It’s nothing,” you mumble, voice cracking. “I’m fine.”
Amélie’s lips press into a thin line. She moves closer, her steps deliberate, until she’s standing just in front of you. “Do not lie to me,” she says, her tone firm but not unkind. She kneels down so that she’s eye level with you, her gaze piercing but not intimidating. “I can see that you are not fine.”
You sniffle again, trying to find words, but the lump in your throat makes it impossible. Instead, a fresh wave of tears spills over, and you let out a shaky sob.
Without hesitation, Amélie reaches for you. Her movements are smooth, graceful as ever, but there’s a tenderness in the way she pulls you toward her. She sits back on the couch and gently guides you into her arms. “Come here,” she murmurs.
You let yourself be drawn into her embrace, your face pressing against the soft fabric of her turtleneck. Her arms wrap around you, one hand resting lightly on the back of your head, the other around your waist. Her touch is surprisingly warm, despite her reputation, and it anchors you in a way you hadn’t expected.
“There,” she whispers, her accent thick, her voice soothing. “Let it out, mon trésor. I am here.”
The dam breaks completely, and you sob into her chest, your hands clutching at her as if she’s the only solid thing in a world that feels like it’s crumbling. She doesn’t speak, doesn’t ask questions or press for explanations. She just holds you, her fingers brushing through your hair in slow, rhythmic strokes.
After a while, when your sobs have quieted to soft sniffles, she tilts her head to rest her chin gently on top of yours. “You do not have to carry this alone,” she says softly. “Whatever it is, I am here for you.”
You pull back slightly, looking up at her with red, puffy eyes. “I didn’t mean to bother you,” you say, your voice hoarse. “I just… I didn’t want to be a burden.”
Her golden eyes flash with something you can’t quite place—disapproval, perhaps, but not directed at you. “You are not a burden,” she says firmly. “You are important to me. And I will not let you drown in your sorrow alone.”
The words hit you harder than you expect, and fresh tears well up, though this time they’re different—less about pain and more about relief. You nod, leaning back into her embrace. “Thank you,” you whisper.
Amélie’s hold tightens slightly, protective. “You do not need to thank me,” she replies. “It is what I want to do.”
The two of you sit like that for a long time, the room quiet except for the sound of your breathing. Eventually, she shifts, leaning back against the armrest and pulling you with her so that you’re lying against her chest. Her legs stretch out across the couch, and she keeps one arm securely around you while the other brushes lightly along your back.
“Try to rest,” she says after a moment, her voice soft and low. “You are safe here.”
Safe. The word lingers in your mind, wrapping around you as securely as her arms. For the first time in what feels like forever, the weight on your chest starts to lift. You let your eyes drift closed, the steady rhythm of her breathing lulling you into a sense of peace.
As sleep starts to claim you, you hear her murmur, almost too softly to catch, “Je te protégerai toujours.” I will always protect you.

Managing Left Main Coronary Artery Disease Through Lifestyle Changes
Left Main Coronary Artery Disease (LMCAD) is a serious heart condition that requires immediate attention and effective management. The left main coronary artery supplies a significant portion of blood to the heart, and any blockage or narrowing in this artery can lead to life-threatening consequences, including heart attacks and heart failure. While surgical treatments like minimally invasive heart bypass surgery are often necessary in severe cases, adopting the right lifestyle changes can play a pivotal role in managing this condition, improving heart health, and enhancing quality of life.
At Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute, our expert cardiac care team focuses on a holistic approach that combines advanced treatments with patient education about lifestyle modifications. In this comprehensive guide, we will explore practical strategies to manage Left Main Coronary Artery Disease effectively through everyday habits.
Understanding Left Main Coronary Artery Disease
The left main coronary artery is responsible for delivering oxygenated blood to the left side of the heart, including the left ventricle and atrium. Left Main Coronary Artery Disease occurs when this artery becomes narrowed or blocked due to atherosclerosis, a buildup of fatty deposits called plaques.
Why is LMCAD Dangerous?
LMCAD is often referred to as a "widowmaker" because blockages in the left main artery can drastically reduce blood supply, leading to massive heart attacks.
Key Symptoms of LMCAD
Chest Pain (angina)
Shortness of breath
Fatigue
Pain in the neck, jaw, or arms
Dizziness or fainting spells
Recognizing these symptoms early is crucial for timely intervention and management.
The Role of Lifestyle Changes in Managing LMCAD
While surgical interventions such as minimally invasive heart bypass surgery can address blockages effectively, lifestyle changes are the cornerstone of long-term disease management. A healthy lifestyle can:
Slow the progression of atherosclerosis
Reduce the risk of complications like heart attacks
Improve overall cardiac function
Enhance the effectiveness of medical or surgical treatments
Let’s delve into the most impactful lifestyle changes you can adopt.
1. Adopting a Heart-Healthy Diet
A nutritious diet is one of the most effective ways to manage LMCAD. Focus on foods that promote heart health and reduce plaque buildup.
Key Dietary Guidelines:
Eat More Fruits and Vegetables: They are packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that improve heart function.
Choose Whole Grains: Swap refined grains for whole grains like oats, quinoa, and brown rice.
Incorporate Lean Proteins: Include sources like fish (rich in omega-3 fatty acids), poultry, legumes, and nuts.
Limit Saturated and Trans Fats: Avoid fried and processed foods to reduce bad cholesterol (LDL).
Reduce Sodium Intake: Excess salt can increase blood pressure, worsening LMCAD.
Heart-Healthy Foods to Include:
Fatty fish (salmon, mackerel)
Leafy greens (spinach, kale)
Berries (blueberries, strawberries)
Nuts (almonds, walnuts)
Olive oil
2. Regular Physical Activity
Exercise is vital for maintaining a healthy heart and improving blood circulation. Physical activity helps in controlling cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and weight.
Recommended Exercises:
Aerobic Exercises: Activities like brisk walking, cycling, and swimming for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week.
Strength Training: Incorporate light weightlifting 2 days a week.
Flexibility and Balance: Practices like yoga improve overall well-being.
Exercise Precautions:
Always consult your cardiologist before starting a new exercise regimen, especially if you have undergone minimally invasive heart bypass surgery.
3. Managing Stress Effectively
Stress is a major contributor to heart diseases, including LMCAD. Chronic stress can lead to high blood pressure, inflammation, and unhealthy coping habits like overeating or smoking.
Stress-Reduction Techniques:
Mindfulness Meditation: Spend 10-15 minutes a day focusing on deep breathing and relaxation.
Yoga and Tai Chi: Gentle movements can calm the mind and body.
Engage in Hobbies: Activities like gardening, reading, or painting can reduce stress.
Seek Support: Counseling or joining support groups can help manage emotional stress.
4. Quitting Smoking
Smoking is a major risk factor for atherosclerosis and worsens LMCAD. Quitting smoking immediately improves heart health and reduces the risk of further artery blockages.
Benefits of Quitting Smoking:
Improved blood circulation
Lower blood pressure
Reduced plaque buildup
Enhanced oxygen levels in the body
Seek support from healthcare providers or nicotine replacement therapies to make quitting more manageable.
5. Limiting Alcohol Intake
Excessive alcohol consumption can raise blood pressure and cholesterol levels, increasing the risk of heart diseases.
Healthy Guidelines:
Men: Limit to 2 drinks per day
Women: Limit to 1 drink per day
If you’re unsure about how alcohol affects your condition, consult your cardiologist for personalized advice.
6. Maintaining a Healthy Weight
Being overweight places extra strain on the heart, exacerbating LMCAD. Losing excess weight through diet and exercise can significantly improve heart function.
Tips for Weight Management:
Monitor calorie intake.
Eat smaller portions.
Avoid sugary and processed foods.
Stay active consistently.
7. Monitoring Blood Pressure and Cholesterol
High blood pressure and cholesterol are primary culprits behind artery blockages.
Key Actions:
Check Blood Pressure Regularly: Aim for less than 120/80 mmHg.
Manage Cholesterol Levels: LDL cholesterol should remain low, while HDL (good cholesterol) should be higher.
Follow your doctor’s medication recommendations.
8. Taking Prescribed Medications
Alongside lifestyle changes, taking prescribed medications is essential for managing LMCAD effectively.
Common Medications:
Statins: To control cholesterol
Beta-blockers: To reduce heart rate and blood pressure
Antiplatelet Drugs: To prevent blood clots
9. Regular Health Check-Ups
Routine follow-ups with your cardiologist ensure timely monitoring of your heart health. Diagnostic tests like angiograms, ECGs, and stress tests help evaluate the progression of LMCAD.
10. Post-Surgical Recovery and Lifestyle Adaptations
If you have undergone minimally invasive heart bypass surgery or any cardiac intervention, adopting the right lifestyle is even more critical during recovery.
Post-Surgery Tips:
Follow your doctor’s recovery plan.
Gradually resume physical activity.
Eat a balanced diet.
Attend cardiac rehabilitation programs.
Conclusion
Managing Left Main Coronary Artery Disease requires a comprehensive approach that includes medical intervention, lifestyle modifications, and ongoing care. By adopting a heart-healthy diet, engaging in regular physical activity, managing stress, and quitting harmful habits like smoking, individuals can significantly improve their heart health and overall quality of life.
At Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute, we are committed to providing advanced cardiac care while empowering patients to make informed lifestyle changes for a healthier future. Remember, small changes in your daily routine can lead to significant improvements in managing LMCAD and preventing complications. Prioritize your heart today for a stronger tomorrow!

Tree Felling How to Safely Fell a Tree
Tree felling is a process of cutting down a whole tree using quality cutting tools and allowing it to fall in place. This is different to bucking, where the tree is cut up into logs ready for removal, and limbing, which is the process of removing unwanted branches from trees. There are several reasons why you may need to fell a tree, such as structural damage, a lack of light or disease. It is important to use a qualified, experienced tree service to ensure the best results. Tree felling should always be carried out with the utmost care to minimise environmental impact and ensure your safety. It is essential to prepare the area before commencing tree felling. The feller should assess the site for hazards, including interlocking branches or dead tops of other trees, and clear the area around the base of the fallen tree to provide an escape route. It is also important to check that the ground condition is dry and suitable for safe felling. If the site has a slope, the faller should clear the entire downhill side and make sure the work area is secured and lookouts are in place. Before starting the felling cuts, the feller should make a notch cut at a 45-degree angle on one side of the tree, and a back cut on the other side at a few inches above the notch. This weakens the base of the tree, helping guide its direction of fall. Once the notch and back cuts are made, the saw operator should carefully examine the surroundings, considering the lean of the tree, surrounding obstacles and the potential impact on buildings or power lines. During the felling process, it is very important to maintain control of the saw blade at all times. This will prevent the wood from splitting violently, which could potentially lead to a severe accident. It is also essential to keep the blade clean of sand, mud and other debris, as this can cause kickback and injury. The feller should be aware of the direction of the wind, as this can significantly affect how a tree lands. After making the felling cut, the saw operator should take a few minutes break to let the tree settle. It is important to do this because dead branches, called widowmakers, can fall several minutes after a tree has been felled and can severely injure or kill saw operators. Regular tree felling helps to reduce the risk of accidents due to unstable or leaning trees, especially during storms or high winds. It also improves the health and biodiversity of forests, as it creates space for new growth and understory vegetation. As a result, we can plant more trees to replace those that have been felled, which in turn promotes ecological balance and sustainability. To learn more about Tree Felling, contact the team at Tree Services Sydney. We have the expertise and experience necessary to safely remove any type of tree from your property. via https://petestreeworxwa2.wordpress.com/2024/07/19/tree-felling-how-to-safely-fell-a-tree/

At the time of Overwatch's major events, Kelaro has left Talon on his own and been virtually adopted by some of the members of the main Overwatch group. His relation to various other characters is... a bit complicated.
Soldier: 76 Jack was Eamon’s hero and role model for the longest time. However, when finally given the chance to meet, Eamon is met by the older version, whose jaded worldview crushes him. Eamon becomes resentful and vocally insulting of the personality his ex-hero has come to adopt. Reaper Eamon’s closest confidante while in Talon. Both feel manipulated by the world around them - and in Talon in current - but see the benefit of using the organization to achieve their own goals. They develop a friendship that, though distant, is mutually dangerously protective. Widowmaker Eamon met her while in Talon. Over the course of a few missions, the two mutually discovered they were incapable of acting as a unit under the guidance of either one of them directly. However, both have a respect for the others’ abilities, and can function well as a unit if neither is attempting to command. Ana Eamon was Initially shunned by the sniper for his severe lack of morals and his distaste for her daughter and good friends. However, she came to recognize him as little more than a child who’d seen too much and simply needed direction. Ana took it upon herself to provide that direction, much as the problems that caused irked her. Genji Genji and Eamon bonded over their individual epiphanies that a person’s history does not determine who they are or what they will do - that each individual’s destiny is laid out by the choices they make. Genji is the strongest hand in guiding Eamon to develop a strong moral backbone that centers others. Lucio + D.VA Lucio’s joyful nature and D.Va’s competitive nature are the perfect balance for Eamon, and the three quickly develop a “clique” of sorts, enlisting Torbjorn’s help in developing a three-way shortwave radio system that they use to communicate. CONSTANTLY. No, like. CONSTANTLY. As for the others, Eamon has a tentative relationship with most. He just hasn’t taken the time to talk to and become close to anyone else.

Widowmaker Guida in italiano (Pixel skipping/Input lag)
eDPI & Pixel skipping
Qualche esempio personale:
3200 eDPI: https://youtu.be/SSR_Vt5HGqY?t=81
3700 eDPI: https://go.twitch.tv/videos/182184438
4000 eDPI (footage intero): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CLux5ftJGU&t=
=============
Input Lag
Cosa fare?
