Also it brings me zero pleasure to be Cassandra here, but “mass deportation” is a synonym for murder. I need you all to understand this. Even in the absolute best case scenario, it means large numbers of people being warehoused in slapdash facilities where illness spreads quickly and medical care is inadequate. It means government contractors providing food, trying to make a killing, and inevitably cutting corners on costs/quality/safety. It means police violence against people being rounded up. It means US citizen children being removed from their families or deported with them. It means people being returned to countries they fled in fear of their lives, and killed by domestic abusers/gangs/governments. It means bureaucratic mixups (/apathy/malice) that result in people getting dropped off in dangerous cities that they’ve never even visited late at night.

It means all of this and more, and if the government comes for your neighbors you should respond as if you are witnessing an attempted murder.

A Steve who cannot buy his boyfriend Eddie's movie tickets all time, take him out to bi weekly dinners, or even publicly win him a teddy bear at the fair is a Steve who pivots, and starts making trips the the closest hobby store.

The bigger one, that sells more than just a handful of D&D manuals.

The guys who hang around there are initially confused--the sports guy who should clearly be buying sports cards is instead coming in once a month to load up on everything from fantasy books to new dice. Clearly he has to be a nerd in disguise.

Yet when one brave soul casually asked what his preferred game was he said basketball, like a total normie.

Finally after a full year of this, the guy opens the door to the shop, but for once doesn't step in. Instead, Eddie steps through and gasps, before spinning and loudly accusing Steve of hiding the store from him.

"It's not my fault you refuse to drive this far out." Steve fires right back but there's a smile on his face, and the stores entire crew watch in awe as Steve follows Eddie around.

Steve is always careful in Hawkins, when it comes to not acting like they're in a relationship but its hard in the moment, and he's not as careful as he should be.

Eddie brings an entire armload of things to the front of the store and Steve insists on paying because;

"It's your birthday man, I'm not gonna make you pay for your own presents."

They leave, the two of them practically floating, leaving behind a bewildered group of people who immediately start arguing whether or not they heard the weird sporty guy call the metalhead "baby."

and THEN I got bit by a bug that said "Chicago house?" What if I could contrive a situation such that Edward and Bella could get married in Chicago? In a little old church just a few blocks from the house he grew up in. That he inherits from himself every few years. Which would be kept in good order and have minor updates made but stay true to the time period in which it was originally. And what if he had it fully furnished and decorated and stocked and they spent the night there before leaving on their honeymoon. And what if they lived there while Bella was human for a few years. What if it was restorative and healing for Edward to do that. What if he took this house that he had owned and not known what to do with or why he kept it. And what if he began to restore it as he fell in love hardly knowing what he was doing. What if the house was a metaphor for the humanity inside him brought back to life by the power of Bella's love for him?

I'm slowly making my way through a new project- editing the entirety of the album PUNCH by Autoheart to the Life Series.

I was originally planning to post all of the edits in order of the songs on the album, but I instead made the Lent one first and am too excited to keep it in my drafts any longer while I work on the first four songs of the album (especially since we're coming up on finals seasons and the amount of time I'll have to work on these is gonna plummet so fast). So instead, I'll be posting them as I make them and make a masterpost of them all in order at the end.

That being said, I hope you enjoy this! I'm really proud of it and a lot of work went into it.

The entire rest of the episode snarking about how it's no fun to be backstabbed and Tango just "🙃 Thoughts and prayers, that must really suck. it must be the worst to get betrayed by someone you trusted. oh wow. oh man. who would do that? that's awful."

"I won't defend you from Dad but I might try to stop you two from fighting."

All his allies like "I've just accepted the fact that I can't trust you while Etho's around because you'll betray me for him." / "Yeah, that's fair." They continue to let Bdubs stay in their base. He brags about how Etho lets him play pool in his basement and eat ice cream for breakfast. He would die for this man.

The fact that it's considered predictable that "of course Impulse gave you a clock again" so Cleo just sighs and asks to see it. Yeah of course Impulse clonked Bdubs on the head with that thing for another season, driving home I have not forgotten with every part of his being...

Nobody can trust this greasy little man and yet they adore him. He's just a sweetheart. Cinnamon roll. Everybody's angel. Haha he'll slam a sword through your stomach, loot your body, and walk off. He's never done anything wrong in his life btw.

I love the way Bdubs plays.

Fear and hunger gets a lot of recognition for the implementation of a unique dismembering mechanic in rpg combat as well as its interesting use of a limited save system but not enough for being able to level up your nonbinary dog by having them piss everywhere

my hottest theory about dragon age 2 was:

there were all those codex entries hinting that kirkwall has some kind of Evil Fucked Up Layout that's literally funneling blood magic energy through it for unknown purposes, and this is also thinning the veil and making all the mages increasingly prone to getting possessed.

and then anders is like "i need to find... gunpowder ingredients :) for normal reasons :)" but then his explosion does NOT look like a regular explosion, and actually is so weird? it makes like a vortex over the chantry and all the rubble is hovering somehow?? why did the explosion do that? aside from the obvious "The Writers Really Want You To Remember 9/11" angle that it's trying to beat you with in the cutscene, that's way too much effort for him to go to on purpose. like i assume he was just trying to blow up the building and kill elthina, not do whatever that was.

so i figured what would happen is that after he blows up the chantry, elthina walks out of the rubble, completely unscathed, bc she's actually the current incarnation of the... kirkwall bad vibes demon(?) that has been absorbing all the cursed energies this whole time. and that's why the explosion was so odd, bc it was interacting with the kirkwall demon's existing magical energy in the chantry. and she's the real final boss regardless of whether you side with mages or templars.
