Jack who just wants to keep Sam with him forever and ever because no one ever showed him kindness and understanding and was there for him like Sam and he has so few people that he holds on so tight when he does have someone. Jack fantasizing about keeping Sam with him and maybe thinking about keeping him locked up so he can’t leave because Jack gets kept in the bunker by Sam and Dean and they’re doing that to keep him safe so if he wants to do that to Sam well that’s just what you do when you love someone, right? And what he doesn’t realize is that that’s exactly what his father did, in a way. That Sam was locked in the cage with his father for decades, trapped and at his father’s mercy. Jack who doesn’t realize that he’s being just like his father because his desire to have Sam as his own feels like love.
