IRIS' L - Teen girl tries to survive her hunt by a shape-shifting nightmare. Friend helps.

TFWGF - A young man mauled in Limbo is fast enough to outrun the beginning of the end of the world. A demigod assists him.

Double O - Adventurer sisters stumble upon a forgotten death and are joined in on the fight by the equivalent of a semi deity. Normal days are interrupted by pests.

B|C - Twin flames destined to destroy existence decide their own career path which ends them up in a war with plagued creatures that cannot burn but which ignite.

During the visit at his uncle's, Elliot keeps approaching his sister in ways which annoy her greatly. One night, they carry a fight. Elliot runs in the nearby woods. He faces a high cliff, yet he doesn't stop; he climbs it. He slips, reaching The Beyond.

Thank you a ton for the tagging! Doing this with siblings from a WIP called TFWGF! From the B/T Book Tetralogy WIP.

The Siblings: Eichi, the youngest; Elliot, the middle child (also the protagonist) and Iskandar, the eldest.

Who looks more like their dad?

Iskandar. She takes a lot from her father's side of the family.

Who looks more like their mom?

Eichi. He is the masculine version of her, practically.

Who eats the most?

Iskandar. She often has an appetite since she is a professional dancer. On top of that, she likes learning traditional dishes to try.

Who has been in the weirdest situations?

Elliot, definetly. Even before entering and leaving the astral plane and facing abominations of all magical kind, people simply made things awkward. That, or he misunderstood certain things and ended up acting based on his understanding. One time he went and caught a cisco fish (ilegally) when his mother told him to buy Cisco (the network). To be fair, she was not specific enough.

Who sleeps the most?

Eichi, one hundred percent! That hardworking boy is tired! College is pain. Law University has him up past unholy hours and his sleeping consists of half an hour naps every few hours and a four hour sleep at night. When free, he sleeps about twelve hours.

What is the worst habit of each?

Eichi leaves his books, notebooks and other junk scattered around on the floor in various piles. Iskandar jumps to conclusions. Elliot has a small spending problem, specifically on shoujo manga, statuettes and anything about glitches.

Who is the most dramatic?

The family says it is Elliot, but in reality, it is Iskandar. Always.

What is their best memory together?

When all three visited Bali for the second time, their paternal great-grandfather took them to the abandoned Taman Festival, told them folk tales, stories and made a roleplay game out of the enviornment. Elliot was often transifxed by the graffiti.

What is their worst memory together?

When Elliot physically, "ferally" attacked Iskandar.

Who's older?

Iskandar is around twenty years old. Elliot is seventeen and a half. Eichi is sixteen (and in college, yes. he is a 'gifted child').

Who is the certified "Bug Killer"?

Elliot. They unfaze him. He likes some and is painfully indifferent to others. His favorite bug is the red firebug.

Thank you to those who tagged me in this! I did remove some of the questions that didn't quite work for my characters, but it was so much fun to do! I would love to see more of these!

Who looks more like their dad?

Sam looks far more like their dad in her general facial structure than Jennifer does. Bryn’s origins are murky at best so I can’t say if he looks like either parent haha

Who looks more like their mom?

Jennifer looks a bit more like her mom, has very similar mannerisms though both she and Sam share their mother’s nose.

Who eats the most?

I would think Jennifer? Unless we count all the little bugs Bryn eats, in that case Bryn by a longshot.

Who has been in the weirdest situations?

Honestly, all three. But for the sake of this question, Sam. She has been kidnapped by the fae for breathing in their space and being kidnapped by shadows in the night is certainly a weird situation.

Who sleeps the most?

Bryn as he is a cat! This is a found family story so I am counting him (and he is the narrator, so it would be rude not to count him.)

What is the worst habit of each?

Sam is easily taken in and often impulsive when new situations arise. She doesn’t fully think through the outcome because she is so enthralled by the beauty and excitement of the moment.

Jennifer is often closed off and a bit harsh around new people, she tends to overcompensate for Sam’s friendliness and naiveté.

Bryn is a bit selfish. It doesn’t come up as bluntly in the story because he is the narrator and so it is told from his perspective with his justifications as the reader’s lenses.

Who is the most dramatic?

Hmmmm when it comes to fun situations? Easily Sam, by MILES. She lives and breathes dramatic fun, the adorable ball of sunshine.

What is their best memory together?

One that I haven’t included in the main story yet, but that I wrote for Writemas involving a cardboard car and teaching Bryn to drive. I will find a place to squeeze in that scene because I love it so much and so do all of them!

What is their worst memory together?

Sam being taken by the Fae in the middle of the night, it was awful for everyone.

Who's older?

Bryn, though by the maturing rate of his species he would only be like 15 in human years thereabouts. If we are not counting him (and he would be offended) then Jennifer.

Who is the certified "Bug Killer"?

Again, Bryn. He’s a cat, he just can’t help himself! Bugs are extra protein!

BAD TOKENS is a fantastical project consisting of multiple creative works and stories, told through various artistic mediums: writing -> prose = books (the Standalone Tetralogy, B.T's 1st story); visual art -> webcomics (a Tetralogy's Volume's Spinoff Prequels: H.D + AE) & a print comic (another new B.T story); video/physical game -> (battle) card game (the GFUG story, B.T's 2nd story) ; audio-visual -> musical (some other new B.T story); streaming -> vtubing /larping (the final B.T story). Huge project.

I never thought much of furbys. Never had one. Seen them around, consumed content with/of that Mama horror game.

It depends on what you mean by critter but yeah, I have (had) loads. (Mostly apearances).

They usually are lore relevant. Elliot's story/book has so so many critters and spirit animals.

For example: fire squirrels, deers with hyperbolic antlers, raccoons with unhinged jaw

Speaking of trends from the past, I want to bring up a particularly furry one. Specifically, furbys! Did you collect them? Did you long to collect them? Did you find them creepy?

Alexis Dalliance started out life as a TTRPG character, and lasted ~10 years of IRL game-play, despite dying ~3 times, becoming a temporarily disembodied spirit, and spending some time as an owl.

She was supposed to be a traditional thief, but I kept rolling terribly when pickpocketing people. Apparently my dice wanted me to be a good guy ^.^; I settled for her backstory including being light-fingered off market stalls, not people.

When I, the player, was introduced to wargs, the GM did such a good job of describing their terrifying mien, he scared me enough that I felt compelled to weave that terror into Alexis's background.

Don't mind me spilling some thoughts! 🌻

For the past month, I have been writing on my story called Mind Roots and worked on a summary for TFWGF (2nd wip).

This past week I've been daydreaming different scenarios, for my other WIP named Snake and Crow. Even tho' the story is already planned out, rather thoroughly.

It's an old plan finally taking shape.

And I've been brainstorming a story for a comic! One I'm planning on drawing. Someday.

I wanna put M.R through Grammarly. Just to try it out. Also, translating some finished stories in my mother tongue. On the side.

Anyone want to rumble about what you have written/thought of for your projects recently? What you have been up to basically?

Making yourself laugh is the best~

Elliot and Yule have a "partners"/"kid and caretaker"/"acquaintances to buddies" kinda relationship.

Yes, they're chill. Yule was surprised to find a human in The Beyond but was overall welcoming. Elliot panicked at first and just knows Yule is an astral being, not a demigod.

It happens in a reality from Earth. The Beyond is a version of The Afterlife and Limbo.

Elliot is the middle child (17). His baby brother, Eichi, is a gifted kid who got in college early (16). Their big sister is named Iskandar (20).

Elliot and Eichi are close and their dynamic is pretty pure and soft, being sweet to one another, sometimes making inside jokes. Eichi is very attached to his older brother.

Iskandar and Elliot... have beef.

Iskandar and Eichi love each other but are not really friends, or ever have been.

They all have a cousin named Salem (18). Elliot's the closest to him. They are absolute besties.

Tilda is looking for her brother. Are there any family members in your story? Siblings? Parents? Uncles? Tell us about them!

Elliot nods and looks around silently. His eyes immediately land on one of the top rows of candy: A carton box full of sour patches.

Elliot points with his index finger. 'Sour,' he tries to get past the lump in his throat. All that comes out is a hum as he aggressively points.

He loves sour. Even if his taste buds don't.

"You're back again?" Mareen seems surprised. "You know, I didn't think anyone was actually going to be coming by this place. Alright, might as well just...help yourself."

She gestures to the front counter.

"What type do you want?"

For me it was cereal.

For my boy Elliot, his late-night movie-night snack would be jam and butter. (No bread).

His brother, Eichi, would convince him to throw some chips with salt in the mix, so Elliot's stomach won't cause him trouble after bed.

Iskandar would scold both and give them water.

Every summer, Elliot and his siblings travel to the countryside to visit their cousin, Salem. They will visit at the beginning of the book.

It is mundane in Fall's Village but hanging out with the animals and people is pleasant. There is a lot of space and nature to run around also.

Mareen and Tilda have gone traveling. Do your characters travel during the book? If so, where do they go and what is it like?
