Why is Curt so hard to draw for literally no reason

BAD TOKENS is a fantastical project consisting of multiple creative works and stories, told through various artistic mediums: writing -> prose = books (the Standalone Tetralogy, B.T's 1st story); visual art -> webcomics (a Tetralogy's Volume's Spinoff Prequels: H.D + AE) & a print comic (another new B.T story); video/physical game -> (battle) card game (the GFUG story, B.T's 2nd story) ; audio-visual -> musical (some other new B.T story); streaming -> vtubing /larping (the final B.T story). Huge project.

Uhm... anyone interested in this silly little thing?

I thought a community would be a good spot to have all stuff related to B\T (WIPs) in one place.

Scene

Tommy sitting at his kitchen table, over a bowl of bland instant oats and a glass of water, unable to make himself anything better. Feeling undeserving of even flavour after what he did. Staring at his phone hoping Buck will call him back, or even a text. Anything.

It rings. He hurries to answer before seeing Howie on the caller ID. Disappointed, he answers.

Howie sounds shaken, scared. Tommy's face pales. He stands up abruptly shaking his kitchen table. His glass of water tips over. He rushes for the door, grabbing his keys, knocking over the bowl he puts it in near the entryway. He barely remembers to lock the door behind him.

The car drive over to the hospital is quick. One moment he's home, the next he's speed walking through the long white halls, looking for the family he doesn't feel he deserves to be a part of. Going over in his mind the last things he ever said to the man he knows is the love of his life. The regret growing. Disbelief that he never even got the chance to say he loves him.

The waiting room is silent. Maddie staring at a wall. Howie trying to keep it together. Eddie sitting on the floor hands in his hair, stressed. Bobby praying. Hen pacing.

He takes a seat close to Eddie, and stares at the ground. This can't be the end.

okay so yes the hades!owen and orpheus!curt dynamic is mm so full of the angst but im also obsessed with the persephone!curt and eurydice!owen dynamic.

like the tragedy of seeing the former version of the man who is controlling you and is so cruel and the hope that maybe itll turn out different for them. maybe itll be better for this version of yourself. to remember what it was like to be young and in love.
