Summary: The ninth of my Halloween-centric fics

"Oh, wow," Viv coos," Look at-"

"No!" You snap quickly," Mama, no!"

"No?"

"Eyes closed!" You order," Not finished!"

Viv laughs, playing along and covering her eyes with your hands.

It had been a surprise for her to come down for the rest of the week but the surprise had worn off at some point during dinner last night when you told Viv she smelt weird and needed to get in the shower after the hours she spent driving down in the car.

You and Beth spent a lot of time at training with Arsenal, up and out of the house for club Halloween before Viv had even woken up this morning.

That's part of the reason why Viv is playing along right now.

Your Halloween costume has remained a mystery to her with the move up to Manchester. Your life is based in London, at least most of the time.

There's already childcare sorted out down here and while you like coming to City training to hang out with the girls, at Arsenal you've got Laura and Lotte and everyone else who you've known since coming home.

London is home and Viv gets that.

It just means she hears more than she sees when it comes to you during the season.

Including what your Halloween costume is.

She's already got a bit of an idea, from Beth not being able to keep a secret and the glimpse she just got before you insisted she close her eyes.

"Myle!" Viv hears you call. "Myle, here! In! In, Myle!"

She smothers her laughter as the yapping of Myle while you scold her.

"Can I open my eyes now, Munchkin?"

"Hmmm," You hum," Eyes closed, Mama. Mummy! Mummy! Muuuummy!"

Viv keeps her hands over her eyes as the soft footsteps of Beth pad over from the kitchen.

"Yes?"

"Myle not get in the basket."

Beth laughs a little and there's a bit of a rustle before you finally speak again.

"Kay, Mama! Eyes open!"

Viv's heart swells as she looks at you, all dressed up like Dorothy with Myle in a basket like Toto the dog.

"Look at you," Viv coos," Give me a little twirl!"

"That's what Auntie Lolo say!" You say, delighted as you twirl around," And Auntie Laura say I look good!"

"Well they were right." Viv kneels down in front of you, pulling at your dress and petting Myle's head. "You look so good."

"Mummy-Mummy say that I'm from Wiz' o' Oz."

"Wizard of Oz, that's right," Viv says," You're Munchkin like the munchkins and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz."

"Everyone was very impressed with her costume," Beth says, coming back into the living room with some snacks and a little bucket with an even smaller pumpkin face on it.

"Ky-Ky gave lots o' sweeties!" You say, rummaging in your little bucket before dumping it all out onto Viv's lap," Yay! Sweeties! Yay!"

Beth very gently takes one of your wildly grabbing hands before you can snatch one of the Haribo packets.

"Only a few, Munchkin. Remember? We share."

"Share!" You repeat," I share!"

With your free hand, you grab a still wrapped piece of taffy and try to shove it into Viv's mouth.

"We share!" You say to Beth, head bobbing up and down just as Myle escapes from the basket, bounding over to sit in your lap. "Myle! We share!"

Viv grabs your second free hand quickly. "How about we don't feed Myle human sweets? We can give her puppy treats."

"Okay! Puppy treats! Puppy treats, Myle!"

You hurry up quickly, nearly tripping over your Dorothy dress on your way to the kitchen.

"I'll go and help her," Beth says with a sigh," Before she tries to climb the counters again. Can you pull up the movies? I've got a few of them lined up."

"We're letting her watch Halloween movies?" Viv says doubtfully, face twisted in disbelief.

"Kid's movies," Beth corrects," Nothing too scary. I checked. Do you know we've never shown her the Wizard of Oz? I thought we could start there."

"Good idea," Viv says," But I feel like the witch could scare her a bit."

Beth grins, flexing her arms jokingly. "You see these guns? I can protect her."

Viv rolls her eyes. "Go and use those guns to help our kid before she tries to break into the chocolate cupboard again. Then we'll see which one of us she wants to protect her from the scary witch."

Hey I didn't see any requesting rules. I'm sorry if you posted them before but I didn't see them. I completely understand if this is too much. (Ngl I've thought about writing it myself)

I was wondering if you could write about a symptom with a reader who has a form of Conversion disorder/ A form of Fnd?

It's a umbrella term but to put it into words for what it; it is when a person experiences temporary physical symptoms, such as blindness or paralysis, that do not have a physical cause. While the exact cause of conversion disorder is unknown, researchers believe it occurs in response to stressful situations or trauma.

I personally have problems with my legs not moving at all for inconsistent periods of time.(Could be 5 mins or 3 hours) (Dw I'm fine I have a mobility aid)

So my question is which yandere twst boy do you think would take advantage of the whole leg thing most?

Once again I completely understand if this is out of your comfort zone and sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I just really like your work

He is also very condescending about it :( and unlike Leona, he doesn’t really understand when enough is enough. Might have to complain to Jade or Azul if he goes too far with his comments or ‘jokes’.

Now imagine… you get taken to twst, and you still have conversion disorder, but no mobility aid. Crowley ain’t gonna help you. That’s just facts. So you go to Mr tech wiz on campus, Idia Shroud. But but but… he doesn’t really know what he’s supposed to be building for you 🥺 and he wants to get it right…. So you HAVE to stay with him whenever he works on it!! So he can get it right for you!!! Yeah you’re not getting a mobility aid. Man’s won’t even finish a fucking walker or wheelchair or walking stick for you, because it’ll never be “just right” or “perfect” enough for you…

Really this is just his way of ensuring you have to hangout with him. He just likes you so much 🥺👉👈

this idea came to me in a dream. quite literally. the brain is a wonderful organ (is it bad that i created a whole au because of a dream. Is that something i should be concerned about)

meet PISCIS ROSEUS .

which, PLEASE correct me if im wrong, translates to pink fish in latin! as the name of the au suggests, Roseus is basically The Axolotl's messenger. kind of?

the au takes place after weirdmageddon, and instead of Bill being in the theraprism, The Axolotl decides that he should be revived and put back into Gravity Falls. just... under supervision, that is. Roseus is The Axolotl's creation (is NOT the Axolotl themself), and is essentially Bill's guardian. The Axolotl can view through Roseus' third eye and communicate with them through it, seen here

The Axolotl gives them insight on what to do, maybe some advice or guidance.

Bill, on the other hand, is very much irritated that he constantly has to be baby-sat by a pink, frilly salamander— let alone their creation that, for some reason, looks like him. The Axolotl thought it was a good idea to make Roseus have a similar appearance to Bill so they could connect with each other more easily. (Bill absolutely DESPISES it)

what makes it even worse for Bill is that his powers have been revoked, and can only float around... with some limitations.

I remember when I first played through this YEARS ago, I was gobsmacked at this part. Like I could not believe this mouse was already gonna die. Like, I was expecting the narrator to be like "you can't leave him here," or "you need to get help!" No. It's "the wasps are surrounding." Your friend is dying on the ground and the enemy is approaching, you need to run or you'll both die.

and Dyvim is SO READY to give up his life here!! He wants the wizard to go and save himself! Sending him to his people to save them!! His last thoughts here are of his people and who will save them 😭😭😭😭 It's such a good encapsulation of his character. He's determined, compassionate, and a soldier.

OH! And how Diego didn't give a shit. He's like "damn that sucks, go follow that mouse." If the wiz hasn't already started to dislike the Council of Light this is absolutely where it starts.

I don't remember how he gets rescued, I'm sure I'll make another screaming post about it when i get to it, but I think my wiz go back for Dyvim the moment he can. Like, Azteca was a huge turning point for my wiz, and so soon after he's just like "I refuse to be the cause of any more deaths" and does everything to help him. PLUS HE'S A LIFE WIZARD. Bro knows healing, so even if he's at death's door, he thinks he can bring him back, even if he only thinks that because he's coping.

Ok hi im here to yap finally. You just happened to ask about the one person mentioned I didn’t really have any sort of idea of what they look like so I had to ponder a respectable enough design to show off. Patience Parker. Mary-Crane Watson’s “”close female friend””.

She is a byproduct of what I’m now realizing is my favorite way to make “ocs” which is someone posits a guy as a joke and then yes and-ing with a friend until we get attached to the really stupid idea/joke. Which you know what. Probably in the spirit of Wiz lmao.

Patience! She keeps a decent herd (?) of giant spiders as livestock and harvests and spins their silk into usable fibers. Lucian never really cared for them but even he could acknowledge the Night Forest doesn’t lend itself to a ton of options. Goats and sheep are very heavily relied on for meat, milk, and fabric,yes, but they’re always looking at you. Tempting you to “live deliciously” or something. Well the creatures of the forest eat enough people as is, no one needs to get any tastier. She honestly came to mind because I was wondering what kind of food and goods would be viable in the Night Forest. The silk is the main product, but you’d honestly be surprised at how many people can’t tell the difference between spider eggs and chicken eggs. Absolutely no one. …But they made good bait! So there’s that.

She’s a very… close friend of Mary-Crane. It’s really nice, the sense of community, seeing these two widows be so close and supportive of eachother. It was a tragedy when Patience’s husband, Guin Stacy fell to the Malughast. His family was from Heap originally, the Night Forest doesn’t get all too many converts, so he did always stand out. Hard to run from beasts and ghosts when you can only manage a waddle :(. It was even sadder when not a week later Mary-Cranes husband took a tumble into the spider pen. You can only tame them to such an extent. A tragic accident, for sure.

I think she’s on the more lighthearted side as far as Night Forest residents go, but she’s still a fantasy puritan, isn’t she. She’s not friendly to Solomon, but she’s not as outwardly viscous as some. If he was a competent monster slayer she’d still be married, no? Not that she’d ever admit that

..which gave wiz enough time to recover. He was trying to fix his kitchen when suddenly. . .the sound of ice shattering and falling to the floor, when he managed to get to the throne room, all he saw was an abandoned ice dagger. So, he took it. In honor of his king.

Then, after getting word of what happened to thaniyel and griefer in turitopolis, he (painfully) chose to go help, struggling in the heat. And yada yada defeating the bubonic plant and stuff, he didnt want to but.. thaniyel didnt deserve that fear anymore. So wiz took the venomshank.

side tracked! He went to the Guru thinking he could clear his mind.. ..instead ended up sparring with his own king until he got the ability to call his majesty into battle! Yippee!!

then.. Shedletsky got word of his 'bravery' (impulsiveness). so he asked wiz to go get the ghostwalker! wiz agreed, thinking it'd be easy. Oh boy was he wrong.

After fighting through way too many zombies and skeletons and vlads, he got to the haunted manor.

Imagine the mental panic one has when he finds a dead version of himself! He spiraled into panic, lost track for a bit, finally got back on focus, captured the basement turkey after getting shot, yada yada ghost potion.

And of course this impulsive idiot touched it. Waking up in the dream world, who the fuck is builderman, yada yada. He took down Greed pretty easily, suffered a bit with Solitude, and just barely made it past Fear. Hatred was the issue. He had so much of it just bottled up, hell, it somehow overpowered his own solitude.

He struggled hard, and.. some of the 'heros' came to help. Eventually, one got him through it. He thanked them, just before he.. left.. Talking with his stupid 'clone' and that damn penguin, then MONTHS later, getting called up by shedletsky..

Which is when he went to get the firebrand, which im not documenting right now.

alex has been racing endurance for at least 5 years by the time this fic happens, and he's both really good at it and enjoying it far more than he ever did f1. (distance from george a plus... not fully fleshed out in my head but somewhere between wife #1 and wife #2 there was a brief period where alex thought It might Finally Happen, but it didn't, and now it's sort of ruined.) i like to think by 2053 he's very happy and settled and either barely thinks of george or can't think of anything but him, because he has to wake up next to his bad breath every morning.

charles is still racing in 2033, chasing the title he unfortunately doesn't have in the timeline of winners i put together to make sure i knew what their careers had looked like... the leclerc kid from older older oscar's timeline is going to have a lot of pressure on his shoulders to do what his dad couldn't 💀

i kept it deliberately vague about everyone else because it was hard enough coming up with a timeline for oscar and lando's careers without the complication on working out what everyone else did... essentially from 2027-2030 they were dominant, won it all etc. then oscar had his crash and lando's back collapsed on him, and mclaren are searching desperately for that high again. lando won his first championship in 2025 because that's actually canon i don't know if anybody has realised yet.............. 🔮🧘🏻‍♀️🧿🕯
