WATERLOGGED OVERFLOW DTIYS

Happy pride month! There's some queer tension in the room today!!

Heres the deal:

I will chose three winners at the end, but all participants will get a colorless doodle of a Rain World character of their choice.

Rules:

Submissions will be due by July 7th

You may change the pose but keep it a similar vibe

You may change the background/location

You may make changes to their outfits (as long as they're still recognizable as Waterlogged moon and nsh)

You may NOT change the characters

You may NOT trace

You may NOT use AI

The tag for this will be [#wl overflow dtiys] but if you post it please add the Waterlogged and overflow tags as well! [#rw waterlogged, #rw waterlogged au, #rw wl overflow]. PLEASE MENTION ME IN YOUR POST! if you want to.

Rewards will be:

First place: full body drawing with background of two rain world based characters; colored (may be OC, canon, or both)

Second place: full body drawing of one rain world OC, or one rain world canon character; colored

Third place: full body lineart of one Canon rain world character or Rain World OC; no color

Participants: bust doodle of one rain world canon character; no color

I love Moon's hand in NSH's wires, and how it looks like they've been caught in the middle of something. Very nice shading!!

The shapes are very tasty and the glow of the wires is a delightful touch! I think I particularly like Moon's stare in this one. Very hunt ready.

The scratchy and unsettling feeling of it all... the distorted alert symbols... the dark but not blind dark... I'd say you're well deserving of first place!!

@lavendertoastmoth I really liked the close up, cramped tension of the piece. How it made it more threatening. The blood was a neat touch as well!

@druidshollow the extra details in the screens and the hexagonal danger alerts were very fun to see. The backglow of the room too? Delicious.

@angstmachine-rw seeing a variation in the pose was exciting! And I enjoy how the alert symbols blur depending on distance. Always love seeing Moon with her spear.

@dvepalki the claws on Moon give her such a menacing energy... very tasty.

@thenyandrawsnstuff the darkness and overtone made it so spooky... and the pinpoint eyes almost like bullets in the night. Menacing!

augh i feel bad because i want to do ur overflow dtiys SO BAD but i’ve gotten such horrific art block that everything i make just looks bad (to me) and i don’t want to give you something that i think looks half assed/bad :(( if you don’t get a submission from me just know i am mentally beaming you with the awesome idea i have in my head of it right now <3 if i do manage to finish it late i’ll still tag you tho lmfao

I'd be willing to do a time extension! I know it was meant to be pride month only, but I did start a week late into the month. So I might extend the date some.
