I remember lacking in confidence so bad that I would cry driving home from my photo shoots with major clients I once had like @byashleystewart because I knew my performance was poor. My mind had me all over the place. Where was I going to sleep when I left that shoot? Did I have enough for gas & food?😢(Lord take my hand) Will the repo man find my car? I'd prayed for him not too because I needed to make sure I could make it to my next set, casting, shoot, go see, etc. Not only that, but if he took my car, he would also take my personal belongings because I had one tote to the right of me, two in the back, a hamper, & a gang of shoes in my trunk: so, where could I park Ruby(that's what I call her), where would we be both be safe? ... All of that going through my head & trying to get the perfect shot: so much pressure & I needed to deliver but couldn't. Life was suffocating my dreams & interfering with my future. I knew something had to give but at that time, I didn't know where to begin. Backs turned, whispers, slander, insults, laughs, fake love, abandonment, rejection: the enemy had it out for me(truth is, he still does). ... Today I stand bold in my beauty of blossoming.🥀I traded GOD #BeautyForAshes 😔Pain propelled me into my purpose. Heartbreak triggered my healing. Postpartum presented me with an opportunity to persevere. GOD gave me a new GLOW.🌷Today, I am the owner of 3 businesses (new in their stages but they're mine). Doing, acting upon, & pursuing things I had no idea was at my reach.🌹 ...
