summary: taion and you go on a date - but it takes him a while to realize it's actually a date!

“hold on a moment…”

taion and you had been chatting and dining together for about an hour now, trying out the restaurant in the city that monica had recommended, when the boy suddenly stopped, his eyes wandering up and down you, then towards the food on the table, then back to you.

“are we on a date right now…?”

a smile hushed over your lips, as it seemed to finally click for taion why you had dressed up and had asked him to wear something nice as well. or why your hand has been brushing up against his all evening.

“you finally noticed~?” you asked amused, but not without playfully adding, “and here i was, thinking you were the smart one out of the two of us!”

Noah - I think he likes to give out words of affirmation :] that, or reassuring physical affection. he is The shoulder pat dude. in terms of receiving, he's definitely a physical affection sort of dude. give him a good kiss on the forehead and he is Flustered forever.

Mio - she likes to create little melodies for people!! that, and she adores playing with others hair. her favourite pastime is fiddling with Noah's hair as he does other things. she receives praise the best, getting super giddy whenever someone tells her she did good. it's nice to be appreciated :]

Eunie - she's definitely a bantering sort of girl. she's not too good with formalities, and gets too awkward with physical gestures. her wit is her greatest power, and she uses it to her advantage. the more she bickers with you, the more she loves you. alongside that, she enjoys smaller acts of service. it's nice to just help out, no quick words necessary. on the receiving end, she adores getting gifts or similar small gestures. she will keep anything you give her, I like to think she's got a little box of trinkets that she always keeps with her.

Taion - he gives out gifts extremely well, as he's terrible with words. why verbalize when you can show your affection through a kindly wrapped present, or a warm cup of tea? he enjoys crafting for other people, and has even made specialized mondo to represent every person close to him. on the receiving end, he really softens up when it comes to small acts of kindness or aiding gestures. he loves physical affection as well, though he's not too trained in the field and gets incredibly flustered whenever it happens.

Lanz - partially inspired by a fanfic, but he excels in gift giving, alongside quality time! although his skills aren't the best, he loves to make little items and trinkets for his friends. he also just loves to be with people, be it enjoying the day to day life or fighting back to back. he lives to protect, and he enjoys every moment alongside those he loves. he receives words of affirmation the most, always smiling wide with praise. he appreciates the support more than he can explain, as it serves as a constant motivator for himself. he will live up to these words, so that one day they'll be accurate.

Sena - she best gives out affirmations and praise, as a way to give those she cares about something she wishes she had. but of course, she just loves and supports her friends regardless. all her praise comes from the heart! on the receiving end, I believe she is unfortunately touch starved. she loves physical attention, and nearly melts any time Mio tends to her hair (although it's in terribly small time frames, due to the flames). she's found a lot of solace in Lanz's far and few between hugs.

Akira and Taion as Mermen

Just remembered that I actually turned Akira Kurusu (a.k.a. Joker) from Persona 5 into a merman for Day 9 of my Mermay prompts, but I added him along with Taion from Xenoblade 3, who is also becoming to a Merman, so I decided to make this because I feel like they feel the same as mermen, so what do you think?
