Transchara / Fictionkin / IRL tips !!

¹ Appearance

• If you possibly can, change your appearance to resemble more of your character, for example i dress all white in jirai kei & shiro lolita fashion, because it reminds me of my fictotype that dresses all white. If you have more money, you can either dye your hair or buy a wig in the color of your character. Getting a character that your chara has will also do the work! Other things could include scars, tattoos, eye lenses, birth marks, glasses, piercings, possibly changing your voice tone

² Personality

• I'm not telling you, to completely change yourself to resemble your chara (unless that's what you want to do) but a good thing is creating maybe a backup account on (for example) tumblr, that will match your chara's aesthetic, if possible ask your friends / family / close people / strangers online to call you the name of your chara (if they ask why tell them you just like em very much, least thing they'll do is think you're delusional and SHOULD accept it) create playlists that you think they would listen to, maybe try talking like them / change your accent a bit, if you're looking in the mirror try to imagine that you look like them. You can also write down their personality traits and try to resemble them!! (unless they're harmful) like for example, you're chara is a hero, try to do something nice everyday for other people, be nice & generous <3

If you're transDID, then we found these tips (We don't like linking other tips but we didn't want to focus on purely disordered plurality too much).

Hypnosis can help, but we honestly don't know how to do that!

If you're transitioning to a disordered system then you need to figure out what 'trauma' caused each alter to split & why they formed the way they did (or if you just want to be traumagenic).

Call yourself plural (duh) and talk to yourself as much as you can (Either outloud or internally)!

Research plurality!!! (duh)

Practice different voices, behaviors, handwriting, art styles, & similar.

If you ever don't want to do something then try/pretend to switch with a headmate willing to do it.
