So. Toy Jimmy. When ever he gets injured, he gets a rip that needs to be manually stitched up. He doesn't know how to sew. God Joel. He made all the stupid toys by hand. He is VERY good at sewing.

The first thing Jim does after they make up is go "also. Um. I know you do a lot of sewing... and you're probably really good at it.. and I don't know how to sew..." this drags on for a bit because he doesnt know how to ask for help and the whole while Joel can just feel he's about to see the most disgusting shitty fucked stitching he's ever seen (he's completely right). Anyway he sees Jimmy's awful job of fixing a cut on his arm and goes "hmm okay I'll have to seam rip it but I can fix this up easy! You don't have any others that need immediate attention though right?" And Jimmy is quiet for a few seconds until he goes, "... I need to take my shirt off. Don't be weird, okay?" Bro has a BUNCH of these fucked up stitches over rips on his chest and arms. Joel is crashing out and it all seems like there's a shred of "okay this is still kinda fine" left here until Jimmy goes weakly "you should see my back". Joel walks around him. THERE ARE THESE FUCKING MASSIVE TEARS ARE SAFTEY PINNED TOGETHER BECAUSE HE CANT REACH THEM TO STICH THEM UP EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT. Joel crashes out even harder and immediately is like "right I am fixing this RIGHT NOW and you are getting sewing lessons afterwards because what the fuck". And then gay shit (wound tending) happens bleehhhh :P probably getting all these stitches pulled out is very uncomfortable for Jim so he's trying not to cry or move the whole time. And Joel is very locked in and eventually (after a botched seam rip stretches one of the tears a bit more) decides to distract Jimmy by explaining different types of thread, needles, stitches, and knots to him. He also gives him something to bite down with the added benefit of Jimmy not being able to complain about this sewing info dump.

And after this, whenever Jimmy gets hurt he just shoots Joel a text like "heyyyy guess who got shot by a skeleton again". And Joel has to come over and fix him up because yknow. They're friends and it's good to have healthy interactions. Plus Jimmy does need to learn to sew so it's a good learning opportunity. The first time Jimmy successfully manages to sew himself up he immediately runs to Joel and they are both very excited. Even after Jimmy becomes mostly self sufficient (except for some spots he can't reach and pain levels fucking up his motor skills) they still hang out a bunch.

Perhaps at some point Jimmy gets a massive cut over his face and barely makes it on his own to the lore and law building near spawn. It takes so long for him to type a misspelling ridden message to Joel asking him show up. Eventually the door swings open and he manages to get out some almost utter nonsense before passing out. Meanwhile Joel is incredibly confused and scared because ????? What???? The fuck???? Anyway he locks in and stitches Jimmy's face up and waits with him until he wakes up (Jimmy doesn't remember Joel showing up, or a lot from after he got the injury). Tee hee

Ultra mega fucked up mode is a few of his stitches staying in Jim's skin after esmp2 ends. So Joel and him try to figure out why this happened (spit balling stupid ideas while Joel is pulling stitches out and absent-mindedly patting gauze and sterilization stuff on the small wounds the stitching leaves behind). ok so a while back I was playing terrafirmagreg. once I got to steam power I switched over to gregtech community pack modern. i crafted the first hv circuit last night so my thoughts

Gregtech is desperately in need of better emi tooling. look this is a long one I made a GH ticket about it. (don't like. bother the author about it i just don't wanna explain twice)

note that this is not gtnh which is the pack everybody says is ultra grindy

Ore veins + high resource demands is fundamentally awesome. If you need more iron, you mine 20 stacks of iron. it is really nice to think in full stacks, and to know that e.g. if you turn 5 stacks of steel into plates you will find a use for them. By FAR the thing gt does best is just make huge ore veins so you're limited by your processing capacities and not raw materials.

Likewise, I like that thus far I haven't unlocked one-block solve-everythings. e.g. for ore processing it seems like I'll be using long lines of thermal centrifuges for the foreseeable future

Not a huge fan of having progression be "voltage" imo. like... LEDs are always gonna run at around 3.3 right. I understand that we're crushed under the weight of IC2 here but yknow.

the tier system as a broad concept I, surprisingly, really like. The goals of a tier feel different enough that it's not just "ok set up the same stuff again" but it's nice how you have to gradually bootstrap your way into being able to make that tier's stuff efficiently. Knowing that e.g. I will probably want a HV assembler helps with the learning curve.

I'm not a huge fan of the wiring and cable loss. "run diesel throughout your base, and put a generator adjacent to any machine you'd like to power" is less interesting than 'build a power station and run power everywhere from it'.

But at every stage gt seems to incentivize running fuel over running power. A fuel line can power lv/mv/hv generators. Even a wood pipe can transport diesel to power maybe 100 machines, while wires scale linearly in cost with the amount of amps you want to run through em.

(Probably this will change at some point, like if I'm gregtech I'm eventually making the only viable power source a multiblock nuclear reactor or something)

multiblocks: wallsharing is cool and I do like the capital investment of building an expensive but powerful multiblock. Buuuuut.... idk. I think especially when they just function like a machine but big, it's like.. eh. I think of create's "sequenced assembly" concept and wish it was applied here. Or just... something.

Item pipes: pretty good implementation. I think a lot of pipe mods err on the side of being too powerful. gt pipes feel like pipes, not conveyor belts/hopper chains (by this I mean that the pipes are kinda a symbolic connection and not a literal physical queue items travel through) but a pretty weak version of pipes compared to others.

I can feel on the horizon the specter of ae2 and I'm never sure how to feel about that. having every item/fluid/power available in one cable is just too much. At the same time, routing it all manually in separate pipes is a nightmare. idk. I haven't played with Create's package frog system but it seems like a good solution to 'how can we not just rely on ae2'.

The mod pack includes the classic gtnh decor mods and specifically the sloped frame blocks. It's interesting how iconic that is as part of the gregtech aesthetic.

I think the 1m^3 machine size is really good. That's silly but I was comparing it to Satisfactory a lot as two games where you need to build factories in 3d first person. and I think it's just a lot nicer to be able to walk around the machines at block scale instead of having machines that are too big.

The fact that a generator producing less than its full amperage does this crazy stutter sound as it rapidly goes off/on is INSANE. like c'mon if something is drawing a steady state 16 eu/t it should supply that & then make a softer whrrr than the normal one. Or have it wait until the internal buffer is 20%,kick on until it's 80%,shut off etc. Awful sound design

Big fckn redesigns here. Well mostly Charlie but Vaggie somewhat too 🥰🥰

Blue fits Charlie soooo much and I cease to see that many redesigns with this color. I still want red to be used in most of their designs because well. They are in hell, but not too present so to make way for other unique colors. Charlie has several physical traits from her parents but also she has some details in her clothes that match with them. When I uhh, introduce their designs you'll see lmao. I also tried to make her have a more roundish design, I jst LOVE those typ of designs omg. I just want the characters with not too many sharp corners pls Viv bro... 😔 oh yeah she's mixed cuz her mom's are darker in their redesigns. Alot of their genetics went down to Charlie so she doesn't look like an exact copy of Lucifer, I kind of hate that trend with hh and hb characters, like did the moxxies dad give birth to him bro 😭 also I kept her bow because it looks so cute and silly on her it just fits, I wish they made it bigger in her show design because it would fit her silliness so much. She has a cape with stars because morningSTAR smh why didnt they do something fun with that, missed potential but whatevs yknow I still love og designs no matter what anyone sayss. The wife ever. I had animation in mind more when I designed her, not like in a "How easy or hard would this be to animate" way. But I like to imagine when she's shocked her hair kind of fluffs out plus her actual fluff, when she's mad her bow turns into kind of horns and then her jacket expands like wings. Gave her a more hotel like outfit, she likes to work for fun (ew). Her socks are socks but she has some fluff under them she just tries to cover it up because she hates herself 🤪 (she doesn't hate her bigger body she actually feels much more comfortable chubby than when she was skinny with Adam. She was burdened with the weight of Adam's image of women... In this sorta rewrite she gained weight when she goes to the hotel because she's more happy. I'm dying I love chub Vaggie so much guys please) headcanon: she kind of likes fashion, it's like a fun hobby of hers to stitch together clothing and go out and buy clothes she'll never wear. She taught Charlie how to stitch and she SUCKS so you can jst see it on Charlie's pants.

Second outfits! Charlie's hotel uniform for. Well. Hotel stuff. She usually only wears it when new people come to the hotel, which.... isn't often, if at all. She still likes to keep it just in case. Also she goes really cartoonish when it happens, she does the looney tunes run and changes into her clothes in like 2 seconds. Can you see my vision? 😭😭

Vaggie's is in her armor. She has several pairs of armor lying around in the hotel in completely hidden spots. It's kind of surprising uhh. Yeah she wears it alot more than Charlie wears her alt uniform but still rare to find her in it. I don't get the whole thing with the exterminators and them not being able to fight according to Carmilla. Which is kinda stupid, I'm not gonna lie. So, instead of that, Vaggie has just let her guard down and has gotten much more comfortable in her surroundings so she feels like she doesn't need to fight anymore, she's just gotten rusty 's what I'm sayin. I have no idea how to draw armor. You can tell...

OKAY. here's the deal, i thought about it but i am unfortunately pedantic about wording.... 'realizes feelings' fundamentally doesn't apply for the trio, in my mind. They exist so far outside of the realm of typical relationships that its impossible to have.... for so much of it, its less of having feelings, and more the reassurance of someone who has always been there.

But perhaps i can try

Josephine and Jamie met when they were 10 and 12 respectivly, both kids who were traumatized and isolated from the people around them. It was Jamie who reached out to her first , offering a hand and a conversation, and from then on their friendship just kind of grew. I think Jamie has always known that Josise was important, but i think due to upbringing, society's downplayal of platonic relationships, and their own issues theyve never really were able to realize that to the full extent. On Josephine's end, i dont think she realized how strongly she felt until... well lets just say, until that was put in jeopardy. and the risk of loss was something she didn't quite know how to deal with, so she didn't. I think Jamie's had a bit of platonic infatuation with Alex since the first day they met, and always kind of knew, while somewhat resenting those emotions when they got older. Jamie was 13 when they met him, Alex was 15, and their introduction was Alex punching out another girl who had been harrasing Jamie - how could they have not idolize him after that? Alex wasnt exactly looking to make friends, but Jamie is nothing if not persistent, and time, as always passed. I don't think Alex is capable of realizing he has feelings, to him Jamie is just... Jamie, yknow? He wants to look after them, even when things are streneous. When Jamie and Josephine insisted on coming with him when he planned to break away from the school, perhaps he had an inkling then but... sometimes things Just Are.

Josephine and Alex is a bit more complicated. Alex was 15 and Josephine was 11 when they met, and their relationship has always leaned more on the familial side especially [theres a whole aspect here with a level of... upset on Josephines end, at the concept that anyone could ever replace what she's lost but thats a whole other can of worms]. Again, i dont think there ever was a specific realization of feelings, more so a sense of just... adjustment. Alex would 'acquire' higher level maths books from somewhere, Josie would explain a complicated concept to him in simpler terms, and time would press on. I think between the two of them now, theres still a lot of realization that needs to happen, and a desperate level of communicative matters that really need to occr.

and with all of them well..... isn't it how it always goes, that you don't know what you have until its gone?

Clothing Within Ranks

(Many people have made wonderful color analysis about good omens before me and I’m going to try and link where needed but I know l'm going to miss some so just know I am sorry about that - it’s not intentional)

What I wanted to get into today was what these colors mean for our characters, their ranks and roles, specifically Heavens uniforms over the years. I'm also only going to talk about the times we see more angels than just Aziraphale (and probably not even going to do a section on him here because that could be a whole post on its own) - one for comparison reasons and two this is already going to be quite long without getting into every single Aziraphale outfit

When going into this I was trying to look for why these angels were displaying these specific colors - what is an in-universe explanation? - what do these colors mean to Heaven? - what is with the big clothing changes throughout the years? why put these colors on clothing - making them physical instead of just atmospheric?

and I’ll admit I struggled with this and almost just gave up on it but I knew it wouldn't leave me alone so I pushed through and shout-out to these here metas that kept me sane and were my jumping off points but without further ado strap in it’s going to be a long one and let's just get into it.

We are going to start all the way back Before the Beginning because although there is not much to go off of (and going to be totally honest this is mostly just a crack thought but I figured why the hell not) there are still differences in their outfits, which I have touched on in a previous post. To summarize the difference is in the sleeves - the cut on Aziraphale’s sleeves are wider while crowley's have a more straight cut - but that is not what I wanted to touch on today, it's the placement of the gold on their sleeves. Aziraphale has the gold, which I should mention that the design on both them is the same, on the bottom of the sleeve but Crowley's is higher up by a couple inches.

Now this got me thinking about how the atmosphere of Heaven would have been before the War and this could just be me but I don't imagine there would a big need to show off rank - and I do believe they had a different ranking system during this time but that is a whole other thing - yknow it would just be something small nothing to really show off. Now we know that Crowley was probably a high ranking angel so to combine all this - what if how high the gold was on the sleeves was the indicator of how high they were in rank? I know that Aziraphale is not the lowest ranked angel but what if at the time he was? I mean he was referred to as a cherub here - which has been explained as just a young angel. Anyway this was mostly just a fun little thought.

The next time we see multiple examples of Angel clothes is in the Companion of Owls minisode and we get a lot of them. Now it has been pointed out before about how the gold embellishments are meant to show off their ranks as angels here - which is a great read so go do it - it really goes into the detail and it is probably easier to just go read it than me trying to summarize.

But why is this such a big difference from literally everything we have seen before? They are big and over the top and really showing off their status. For angels they really seem to be leaning into their pride for this whole story - just a visual way to show Heaven is not as good as they project - it’s giving when royals are just letting other people do their dirty work and when confronted about them sitting in their riches while their people suffer and they say “well what are we supposed to do about it?”

I also find it interesting that literally every other robe outfit we see from Aziraphale they are way more simple, almost like he has different outfits for when he is on a job and then when he is trying to blend in and live among humans - which just opens up a lot of cans

Lets fast forward to more modern times of season 1 and 2 to see how much things have changed and take a look at each angel individually (and the actual reason i wanted to do this post)

Gabriel

His main outfit consist of a gray suit with a white shirt and purple tie and tan shoes. He has some variations with a long gray coat and a gray turtleneck and scarf but we are really just going to focus on his main outfit. The gray is pretty straightforward as the color of archangels but the fully gray suit is specific to this council/leaders of angels. The purple tie is where it gets interesting though. Initially I thought it served the same purpose as his purple eyes, just as a way to show his rank as Supreme Archangel until purple showed up in other angels outfits also in places around their necks. So I had to look into what those angels did and how this would fit into what is essentially a government system. So yes this tie does symbolize him as a leader just not in what you expect.

I will get into the two kinds of base angels later but right now we are going to have to dive a little deeper to understand what the purple means - it is a job. I am proposing that the purple is an indicator that angel is a part of an intelligence/legal department in Heaven and because Gabriel has a solid purple tie instead of it in tartan, he is the leader of them or he at least is the angel they report to. It is a home for our creative angels, the ones making the plans. I will get into why the other angels fit into here when I talk about their outfits but as for why with Gabriel well lets look at his character (his season 1 character at least).

As Supreme Archangel he would need to be the angel that knows the most about what was going on, he very much wants to stick to the agreed upon plan, he spreads information around to make sure everything is going to said plan, and he very much does not want to know anything about the "illegal” back-channels that Heaven may have. These are just a few broad examples but it is worth something to look at. Now to understand the white and tan in his outfit we are going to have to move on to the rest of our gray suits - just remember he is the leader of all angels.

Michael

Their outfit consist of a gray suit and a white frilly shirt with white shoes. The gray suit is of course for their archangel council rank but what is with just the white? White is thought to be just the base color of angels and I think is was but it has changed a little. As the concept still fits with what I am about to propose - it is now just one of the two base kinds of angels.

I'll admit their outfit tripped me up so took a step back and looked at it backwards and it was Muriel that actually helped lock this in. Muriel starts out in a tan outfit but changes into a completely white officer outfit to complete a job - a job to blend in, observe, and confirm and it got me thinking of the actions we see Michael do. They are the one to get pictures of Aziraphale and Crowley, they are the back-channel to hell, and they refer to themselves as a duty officer to name a few.

So to put this all together I think the White is meant to show the angels that are for surveillance - to watch over and observe humanity - kind of like a civil service. Michael is the leader/representative of these angels and that's why the white is so big and frilly to show off this position instead of just a simple shirt.

Uriel

Their outfit is very similar to Micheals with a gray suit and solid color shirt underneath though his is tan. Again the gray suit for their archangel council rank and with the new addition of tan.

So after taking a look at the angels that wear tan Uriel, Sandalphon, Aziraphale, and a few background angels let me introduce the second kind of base angels - the protective ones - the fighters- think of them like the military. Uriel would then be the leader/representative of this group with their tan frilly shirt. Uriel and Sandalphon have pretty similar attitudes as I imagine a pretty high up military officer would have and you have an actual platoon of angels dressed in military uniform - all in shades of tan.

Now I do think something changed in Heaven that required them to start forming this protective side instead of just leaving it as it was or maybe it's the simple fact that God likes threes more. The reason I say this is because in the Companion of Owls minisode Uriel is nowhere to be found and the lack of any tan in Aziraphales outfit until Golgotha in 33 A.D. but even then not consistently until 1793. It just paints a picture that this side is a later development but I am getting off track.

This is the end of the Archangel council and moving forward it will be lower ranked angels which have a lot more to their clothes. You may be wondering about Sandalphon and Saraqael as we see them working with the other archangels as a group of four well then stay tuned we are about to get into it

Sandalphon

Its outfit is mainly various shades of tan which stands out so visually from the others he is grouped with. A long tan coat with black buttons and a tan based tartan waistcoat and pants -it's a big change from the gray. He’s one of the darkest angel outfits we see considering it is bordering on brown and it's long coat, it doesn't look too good for his morals.

Now his tartan consist of a lighter tan and gray which if it wasn't clear enough what kind of base angel catagory it was in, it is the protective one, and the gray to show he is still an archangel. So he is still a high ranking angel probably just below Uriel. But we see him with the council, receiving reports from Aziraphale, why would he be there then? Well what has Heaven been preparing and training for these past few years? A war. It wouldn't be too far fetched to think they would bring in the highest ranking angel that is actually working with the angel troops to keep them updated on how it is looking and for him to be informed of what is going on, on Earth.

It is also worth noting his connection to the Metatron, they are brothers in actual angel lore, their clothes are kind of mirrors of each other (plus the black buttons people), and the fact that Sandalphon completes the weird obsession with fours that the Metatron has but I can get into that later.

So basically what I'm saying is that it was brought on specifically for Armageddon and it would explain why he wasn't there in season 2 (besides the fact the actor couldn't make it)

Saraqael

Their outfit is mainly white with some interesting colors in the tartan on their collar, cuffs, and in a stripe down their pants. The white of their outfit puts them under Michaels surveillance side of base angels which makes sense when looking at their actions, always trying to make themselves invisible and just watching plus they are the one who goes looking for Gabriel on the security cameras. But now on to their tartan which consist of white, a light gray, a dark gray, purple and a blue-green color.

At this point we know what the white means as well that light gray is for archangel rank so that leaves the rest. The purple puts them under Gabriels intelligence/legal team which make sense as they are seen as one of our more intelligent angels. The dark-gray I am going to say puts them in connection with the Metatron and the reason it is not fully black is because they are doubtful about him, maybe even scared. Now the blue-green color had me stumped for a bit but the most satisfying conclusion I came up with is that it is for the angels that are planning/apart of the Second Coming - another job. This particular shade of blue-green is new to this season and only on angels particularly associated with bringing about the Second Coming - Saraqael, Muriel, Jimbriel, and the Metatron(i think but not a big deal if not).

This is why we see Saraqael grouped in with the archangel council this season - Heaven has shifted into planning mode instead of fighting.

Muriel

Before I get started I just wanted to say they were the reason I almost threw this all away because of their color combinations but I think I pulled it around

So lets just get into this - they are wearing a tan outfit and have a very similar tartan to Saraqael with the purple, the blue-green, and a dark gray.

This color combination with the tan and this kind of tartan really threw me for a loop. Why would a protective kind of angel be doing these jobs? So I went looking into actual u.k. military rankings because I didn't know anything about them and tried to find out what the lowest ranking members did. And one of the jobs of a lance corporal is a clerk which rung the bell that they also say they are a Scrivener, which is also a clerk.

It has been theorized that they work under Saraqael which seems to be reflected with the tartan. But what their actual job seems to be is writing down and recording these agreed upon Second Coming plans, yknow War plans and filing them. (also looking back there seems to be a very light shade of gray stripe in the tartan - almost like it is faded - maybe a visual hint they were demoted)

I also think it is interesting they sent another protective angel who has a love for written word down to Earth and eventually ends up staying. Only this time they have the complete knowledge of what Heaven is planning even if they don't realize it - they were the one who wrote it down.

The Metatron

Yes we are going to end with him because I guess he deserves a mention. No but seriously his outfit is interesting and hard to read particularly - mainly because it is very difficult to find good pictures - so I don't have a lot of clear cut answers for him and most of this is speculation I guess you could say but I figured I had to include him. His outfit consist of black long coat, pants, and tie with the addition of a blue flower?? shape on it, and a white shirt with blue vertical stripes underneath.

Now he is the only angel we see wear black as the base color in their main outfit - the only other time is Aziraphale’s magician outfit - which has interesting implications of this color - is it a mystery? An illusion? He also seems to have influence over the darker colors we see in heaven, as Saraqael is the only angel we see recognized him. But since I don't have an answer for that so let’s move on to the blue.

I go back and forth on whether this is the same blue that I talked about earlier or just like a generic blue - either way they both kind of boil down to the same thing for Heaven - and that is that Heaven is going through a change. Most of the time when we see blue it is with Aziraphale who we see change a lot for an angel and we see him start to include shades of blue in his outfit in 1601 (though I could see an argument for 537 a.d.) We also see Heaven itself go from a warm yellow undertone and change into the cool blue undertone at some point. And if you think this Second Coming isn't going to involve a big change in Heaven - well have fun. It is also the color Jesus is draped in on the Resurrectionists sign. But anyway lost the plot a little there - my point is that the Metatron seems to like to change things into his favor.

Remember when I said I'd get into the Metatron and his connection to fours well lets get into that now. In the design of the blue parts of his tie their seems to be four sides to it and it got me thinking other fours we see. Another instantance of fours directly related to the Metatron is right before he appears in season 1 four lights float down and when they connect then boom Metatron head. Now on to more nuisance fours and you get that they have a running theme that one of them is off, Adam - the only non-human in his for person friend group, Pollution - pestilence’s replacement, and most importantly the forth archangel pushed up into the archangel council. The thing is without the insistance there be four of them the rankings in heaven would fall into a pretty pyramid scheme - a perfect three one of Gods favorite. But I've probably rambled for far too long about this and it’s getting into other things so I'll leave it here.

So just to summarize what the colors mean

White - is for our base angels that are meant to surveillance

Tan - is for our base angels that are meant to protect

Gray - to show archangel rank - gray suit is for the council

Purple - is a job type for intelligence/legal dealings

Blue-Green - is a job type specifically for planning the Second Coming

Blue - just meant to symbolize change in heaven/angels

Black - just sus - it's a mystery - hiding something

Yknow as a joke I was thinking "man wouldn't it be funny if chujin and starlo ended up a couple instead and ceroba was just punching a pillow in her room" but then I started thinking how maybe Starlo would've ended up a bit more responsible being around Chujin, actually making the town not just something to role-play in but an actual home. They would've ended up settling in, having a child, keeping it safe. Chujin would've probably stayed the same though, and he would've ended up with the same fate. But when his messages go out to Starlo and not Ceroba, I don't think Starlo would have the guts to finish his work.

So he doesn't. He takes his time to grieve and continues to run the town. The tapes sit at the bottom of their house as he continues to raise their kid. Though of course, with the Wild East being a real town now and not just for play, it brings in real threats. And the sheriff gets called to the scene when it's too late, and his child falls down in front of his own eyes.

From there the story plays out like the rest, he sends their body to the lab in hopes it works but never hears back, meanwhile his time acting as sheriff wears you down little by little. By the time Clover comes around, Starlo doesn't have much hope left. But he knew one thing he hadn't tried yet, so he acts on Chujins plans and takes Clover in under his wing. From there he puts them through rigorous training, dangerous training. And at one point, he sets the rest of the Fiesty Five on you until you withstand their attacks, before shooting you down to 1 hp himself. Before Clover can do anything, they pass out.

They come to moments later, laying on the bed with the Fiesty Five around them asking if they're OK. They tell you then that they broke things off with Starlo for now, calling him reckless and crueler then he ever is. Before they can stop them Clover leaves and tries to find Starlo themself. From there the battle goes the same as it does before, with Ceroba rushing to stop Starlo at the last attack. He apologizes, and explains everything to Ceroba and Clover, telling them that he and Clover need to go to the Lab to find his child. He asks Ceroba to watch the town for now as he goes off to the Steamworks with Clover.

From there it's essentially the same, Starlo following Clover as they try to uncover more and more. But before they can make it to the lab, the posse come back to find you with Ceroba at the lead. They saw the tapes, and Starlo runs with Ceroba on his heels. Clover goes back and watches the tapes with Martlet and you both head out to find Starlo again.

At the cherry blossom tree Ceroba confronts Starlo, and Starlo can barely talk as he cries. He already failed Chujjn by not trying the first time, he failed his child by not being able to show up in time. He refuses to fail them again. He swears he'll bring their child back and after that he can carry out all of Chujin's plan once and for all. But when Martlet threatens to run away with Clover, he doesn't hold back. He shoots Martlet and Ceroba clean in the arm, not enough to kill but enough for them to pass out, and he confronts Clover one final time. A sense of flawed justice runs through him as he does, glowing with light as he taps into his powers and his magic strengthens. It's the Final Showdown, and Clover knows there's only so few ways it can end.

Should Clover spare, the story plays out the same. His friends come to and stay by his side, and Clover decides to give up their soul for monsterkind. However, should Clover kill Starlo, all that's left behind is his hat and badge. And as Ceroba comes to, she can only stand still as she watches his dust blow away. She slowly stands up and gathers Starlos things, silent as she heads to the exit before saying one last thing.

"You know, I don't think his plan could have worked despite everything. Someone like you was never pure in the first place."

what is your take on what happened during the infamous kook year? Did Kiara and Rafe have a thing going on or not? What really went down between Sarah and Kie? How bad was it after Kie was ostracized at the academy? How did she make up with the pogues?

OOOoohhhh anon, bringing me back to the kook year!!!! (not that it ever really leaves my mind...)

I don't think Kie and Rafe had a thing, but I could def see him being a creeper with Kiara hanging around the house and whatnots. It feels like he's had a crush on her with some of his behavior throughout the series (who could blame him?). However, his idea of her and the version he makes up in his head are not reality...

What went down btw Sarah and Kie: they got too close for Sarah's comfort and she lashed out and cast Kiara aside. Sarah explains in canon that this is a pattern for her. And to me, it feels fairly obvious there were crushing feelings on at least Kiara's side, if not both. As for how bad it got...I think it was pretty bad for her parents to agree to let her go back to Kildare high! I think whatever Sarah Cameron says pretty much goes in those parts, at least that's how they portray her. So if she's done with Kiara...then everyone else is too. Which, actually is interesting to think about that not only is Sarah defying/going back on everything by being with John B, but by being best friends with Kiara again.

How Kiara made up with the Pogues I could see going down a variety of ways...

In one way, I could see JJ holding the biggest grudge because of his abandonment issues, taking it harder bc of his buried feelings for her, etc. However, there's also a possibility he knows more of what went down than the others (e.g. defending her when Pope's going after her) so possibly he was one of the first to forgive. I think if JJ really, truly knew how bad it was, he'd be there for her and take her back in an instant, no matter what she did. I think Pope's reaction of being more upset is in line with his personality of being more rigid, and Kie broke the rules, yknow. And JB, similarly with his personality, I could see him being more positive and quicker to come around. John B just wants the band together, and he'll do whatever it takes to make that happen. I'm not sure how Kiara would reach out to them; she can be headstrong and proud so I don't think it would be super dramatic right off. But I think the story would come out over time. In canon, it kinda looks like she's telling the rest of the Pogues what happened in real time. In my mind, she might reach out to JJ first. John B was dealing with his dad being missing, and I don't think Pope would be as comfortable to reach out. And jiara has a way of saying what needs to be said without having to really say it.

OMG YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! absolutely. i will ramble about aroace literally anybody on the drop of a dime this is one of the best anons to get actually

nene's story is actually the one i have the least about, to be perfectly honest. i have a plot for both emu and tsukasa's stories, but haven't quite figured out one for nene. honestly, i think nene's the type of aroace to not really... care about it that much. she'd never cared about love or romance to begin with, so when she realized it was because she was aroace, it was mostly like "hm. cool. im gonna go play animal crossing now".

as for finding out... i think it would have happened in middle school, back when she was Online Gamer Nene TM full time. with how much she loves games and storytelling, it really only makes sense she'd want to engage with fandom content like fics. however, just... seeing the way people sexualize her favorite characters, or only write/draw shipping content... she didn't care for it. she didn't want to engage with that. not that there was anything wrong with it! people can do whatever they want with fictional game characters. she just. didnt care about it herself. which led to her feeling even more isolated even within her favorite hobbies. i think this would sort of lead her to playing a variety of games so she doesn't have to worry about getting absorbed in fandoms she doesn't care to be a part of. she still checks, every once in a while. for games that she really likes. i think its through this that she eventually stumbles across a popular aroace headcannon, goes "what", googles it, and is like "wow. thats me. sick". and then moves on

but like. even when she's moved on. it's still really nice to know, yknow? it explains why she felt like the odd one out not wanting to ship stuff, or even care to entertain it. there's people out there just like her. it makes her less anxious, a little more sure of herself.

she doesn't ever tell anyone. not even rui. (i mean, they hadn't talked in ages. how is she supposed to? "hi, we havent had a genuine conversation in years, how are you? by the way i discovered im aroace and you probably don't know what that means and honestly i dont really care about it myself. have a good day".) (and once they do start talking again, it just... never came up. she never felt the need to, and he never felt the need to ask.) until my epilouge chapter where they all end up coming out like WHAT WERE ALL AROACE THATS SO SILLY anyways

in casual life, i think nene would have been the type for adults to go "oooh, you have a crush on him, don't you? look at you, all red and shy just thinking about him" when shes simply Just Like That. it was really annoying. she knew she didn't like them like that and that was that. but shes too scared to say that so she just took it. definitely didn't help the "nene needs to learn how to make friends" department. honestly, her only relief from it was with rui- both her parents and the kamishiro parents recognized that the two really did care about each other, but it wasn't like that. also no way in hell they're ruining the one friendship their kids have.

later with emu, i don't think there was any point where people even considered a romance, at least not at first glance. it wasn't like people at school even knew about emu (minus when she snuck in, but why would this hyperactive pink thing be looking for that shy second year?). and people walking the streets didn't really assume they liked each other like that since they were two girls. nene's mom was a little curious if they were dating since emu comes over so often and is so physically affectionate, but she never really pressed. she was mostly just happy nene has friends over that aren't just rui. (also, emu's aroace too, so nothing in her demeanor even made nene consider it could have been romantic. shes just Emu.)

for tsukasa, it's a similar thing. by the time people have realized the two are friends, nene's confident in herself and her feelings enough to shut down the people who would even dare assume she likes a buffoon like that star in that way. there's those people that go "oh but you're mean to him and girls are mean to boys when they have a crush on them" but she's tough enough to go "ew" and move on. (she did complain about it a little to rui on a walk home once. if he ended up in her classroom the next day to "grab her for lunch" and weaponize his dangerous reputation to intimidate them when she wasn't looking, it was sheer coincidence.)

also, i think out of the four, nene falls most on the loveless scale. tsukasa, emu, and rui are all beings made of love despite the fact they don't fall in it. nene's a bit different. she cares about her friends, and she's super good at making them (despite what she thinks), but she doesn't really... love them. not in the ways people usually want to describe love. she would kill a man for them in a heartbeat, don't get me wrong. she just experiences those sorts of feelings differently. it's care, and determination, and hope, and happiness, but not... love. not completely.

anyways aroace gamer nene so real fic will happen once i figure out how to tie these ideas to a plot 👍

Do you have a specific process for designing characters? Be it original or reimagining canon designs of fandom

hmm, well, i don't remember the last time i properly designed an original character, so nothing on that front. for reimagining designs... i don't have a step by step way i do it, it varies from character to character, but i can point out some of the things i do that might be helpful?

i largely base my designs on the vibes the character gives me: their manner of speech, their actions, their story and personality. and also the world and environment around them if it affects the character. it sounds pretty obvious but like, duh.

im gonna try and explain on gillion's example since its the one you mentioned. he's a himbo, a swimmer and a paladin, so he's gonna be buff or at least a little thicker. he's a triton, so he's short. he's also short for the reason that he is in an unfamiliar for him world and he might feel small in it. he's also short because it makes him look almost child like, connecting it to his trauma and lack of childhood that manifests in his behavior now. gillion is kind or at least trying to be, so his features will be softer and rounder. but sometimes he's chaotic or harsh, so he has some sharp features too. though they're secondary, the softness is still the main focus.

i also really like to think and overthink the designs while drawing. i try to keep everything simpler and less detailed, showing personality with shapes rather than uhh presence(?), but that means that details i do include have a lot of thought behind them.

one of my favorite things is practically. i love to think about what a character would realistically wear in the climate they're in, which clothing would be comfortable for their anatomy and field of work. would certain things get in the way or would they be helpful? how would they style their hair, do they need it tied back or do they not care? would they wear make up, why yes or why not? etc etc etc. i like asking myself questions and answering them in the design.

continuing with the gillion example. he's constantly wet because he's a triton (again, yes), so it would be more comfortable for him to wear a wetsuit. other clothes may stick to him and be uncomfortable, or get stuck on his fins, etc. he doesn't have any piercings, there's no way he would've gotten them in the undersea, and on the surface i don't think there was anything meaningful enough to promt him to get it. plus fin ears. he doesn't have his hair styled in a complicated way because of the coral on his head. doesn't wear a lot of jewelry because he jumps in the water a lot and it'll easily get lost. no belts or flowy bits because they constrict the movement and might get in the way.

and then like. all the personal headcanons and preferences and little bits and things. there's a lot of elements that i draw just because i like how they look. or because that's a comfortable thing for me, or because it's cute or hot or sad or whatever. or because i saw it while looking for inspiration and i really liked it. just bullshitting with the design and making it my own, yknow?

for gillion. gave him a cool long tail and lots of fins everywhere because i like it when inhuman characters are openly and visibly inhuman and have distinct features. and gillion is VERY much not human, part of his personality is being confused about humans. big ol yellow eyes with slits — look cool, also doubles as an inhuman feature, also makes him look curious about the world. small black stripes all over his body — make him look more fishy, plus because there's a lot of them and they're all the same they form a pattern that looks more like a natural anatomical feature and draw less attention. coral that goes around his head and not only the front like a tiara— makes it feel more three dimensional and looks cool in perspective (also i kinda just drew it wrong and never fixed it). coral and fins are pink — adds some much needed color variation and contrast, plus pink is one of the more natural colors which again make him look animalistic and not magical, plus ties in with pretzel. his skin is closer to green than blue — removes blue from the color pallet (especially with his eyes being yellow instead of blue), making the design more coherent and pleasing, allows me to properly introduce reds and purples without it looking like a mess of colors (although it still does sometimes). sharp teeth — fish, cute. yellowish underbelly — supports the yellow for the eyes and makes it stand out less, plus again, animalistic feature. little to no details on the clothing — creates good negative space that lets the eyes rest and focus the attention on everything else. his fringe and hair are floating around and don't follow the laws of physics — personal headcanon that it always looks like he's under water, plus adds roundness to the design because of the waves and curls.

ookay haha sorry didn't mean to write down literally every design decision here-- kind of derailed the post again.

basically yeah, for me designing is like a dialog with myself where i ask and answer questions. also something that wasn't mentioned are references and inspiration. if i don't have a good idea when i start, i usually scroll through my gallery or pinterest for some time to get ideas and figure out the general direction i want to take the design, maybe also find some fun stuff to include, etc.

hopefully this long ramble was at least somewhat helpful or gave you insight on my progress. i wanted to draw some things to also visually explain the design decisions for gill, but i think I'll do it later and in a separate post, and maybe include chip and jay too...

I just watched transformers one and wow it was great! So here is my reaction to it basically.

Let me just say that before this movie I had only seen. The bayverse movies, and then maybe some stuff from some of the cartoons? Enough to know the names "bumblebee, Optimus prime, starscream, Megatron, ratchet" and then like the general terms of. Autobots and deceptions and such.

Some have said that like there was too much exposition? But honestly I feel like it was needed since yknow. Without the humans in this, we the audience need to be told about this.

Plus even for stuff that they're supposed to know, like the whole lie from sentinel about how he's trying to find the leadership thing. You can say that the reason why people talk about it all the time is just him trying to say the lie so many times that it becomes the truth. And then there's just the exposition of stuff they don't know. Overall I feel this was handled well.

I do kind of think it takes a little bit too long of the set up in the first act. But honestly I think it's just because the third act is so good that I wish there was more time to see that whole stuff. But also I kind of get why it's paced the way it is. And I can't really point to scenes to get rid of? Other than just like. Trimming down. But idk. I think it's good and I understand why things are like how it is.

The vocal performances were good! I mean. Keegan Michael key was just. Himself for most of the time but also he's the comic relief so it's fine.

Scarlett Johanson did good, i did forget she was her so that's good. She sounded just like. The character.

I was especially surprised with Chris Hemsworth, he did an amazing job of how. As the story goes on, and Orion becomes Optimus, he sounds more and more like. Him.

I am partially uh biased I think to Brian tyree hudson just because. Wow! Megatron. Was so. It was so good. His performance. And the writing. And the character animation. And the action with him. Everything about him was perfect and I feel like he really stole the show in the later parts.

I feel like it's the first time where like. Friends to enemies really hit. Like. Okay I do love professor x and magneto, and idk how it goes down in the comics. But I'm thinking of the beach divorce. Logically, intellectually I know the reasons why magneto is against Xavier. And I know why he does what he does in the movie. But it never really hits? Like there is never a definitive thing that feels like. The breaking point in their friendship. Because the reason why magneto is himself is what happened when he was a kid.

But with transformers one. The transformation (haha) of Orion to Optimus, of d16 to Megatron. Happens simultaneously. And their reaction to the truth about sentinel is evidence.

I have more to say about that. And everything but it's hard to quite explain rn. I still have to stew over.

Oh but also I like how in this film it seems very evident of how their transformations are linked to their personality.

Megatron being focussed on war = tank. Optimus wanting to help others, being a strong leader = truck

Bee and his hyperactivity = sports car

Arachnid's surveillance, obeying sentinel = drone

my dear devoted readers, today i come to you all with some really interesting info about the development of the planetary subspecies and tycho's handling with it

unfortunately however, this post will be lacking in screenshots, due to those who dmed me not wanting to face any sort of retaliation from the rest of the team (for this i do apologize, typically i try my best to include verifiable evidence for any claims i make on here but for this one you guys will have to take my word on it, but i promise that everything said here is truthful to the info ive received)

so first of all, i had some people from terra staff message me a bit ago to talk about it, mainly to deflect give more info and clear up misconceptions.

heres some of the main points:

lore about the general species is being worked on, theyre just trying to figure out the best way to present it (and apparently they thought making a whole secondary site for extra lore would make sense? they might not follow through with this though because someone explained how dumb that is and how you can just use LK)

coy and civ started the species with no lore so thats why its taking so long (this doesnt explain why the planetary subspecies took precedence over like. basic building blocks. but ok)

the planetary subtype wont have as many plot holes when released "in full" (why release it if it isnt finished??)

so to all of those points, i asked the hard hitting questions im sure you all are dying to know:

"i guess my main issue is why was the planet subspecies released in such a half baked state? why not work on finishing the general species lore first instead of doing it in such a confusing order? and as an add-on to that, why even release the planet subspecies when multiple people say its not even finished? this just seems like a huge mess of self-imposed problems there are other events and such that can be done while species lore and even the planetary species are worked on, why not expand upon one of the other pre-established subtypes first instead of rushing out a new subtype when nobody was even asking for it"

now put a pin in this because while i was waiting for a response, i actually had another member of staff dm me.

i asked them the same questions as above and they told me that tycho had supposedly been planning the planetary subtype before he even got ownership of the species. it seems that because of this, him and temul pretty much fast-tracked the development and release of it because they had personal involvement in it, all the while ignoring suggestions made by lore writers and other staff members. (however it should be noted that on further discussion with the other person who dmed me, temul was very receptive to suggestions, its just tycho who was the main blocker to ideas. apparently, according to one of the DMers, temul was even ok with having all the lore info on the main site, it was tycho who said he didnt like/want the idea after it was brought to the coder) there were even people part of the discussion that WANTED the subtype to be all celestial bodies (like, yknow, the logical idea that most members ALSO want), but tycho kicked that idea to the curb in favor of only having planets. apparently "literally everything involving lore has been pretty much pushed to the side because both them and tycho are just so excited about making this subtype real." in other words, tycho wanted to charge forward with their personal endeavors without paying attention to the work that NEEDED to be done in the species. additionally, they had this to say

"I don't blame them for being excited, I think it's a really cool subspecies, but they're both coming up with things on the spot as the event goes on and it's just getting convoluted and straying farther from the original idea"

so just going based off this, id say theres some pretty big trouble in paradise when it comes to the work being done behind the scenes

this was my response:

"sorry if this comes off as rude, but i think thats a pretty..chaotic? way of doing things at best it really doesnt read in the best way to know that tycho/temul/others will shove aside more important matters to focus on the thing they want and it comes off as selfish. it still boggles me why they thought the subtype release was more important than having general species lore, and even more so that if they supposedly cared about the subspecies so deeply why they would rush it out with little to no info seemingly even being finished."

to which they responded that the subtype isnt more important than the general species lore, but there really isnt anything they can do about it.

additionally as a side note, apparently there are lots of ~important~ people checking this blog (but its not allowed to be mentioned at least in the lore writer/OA server), to which i say hii! feel free to address the various controversies here that get swept under the rug like the bdsm demon shit weve been talking about!!

anyways

thats basically where our convo ended, i think it paints a very pretty picture of how things seem to be going in the background especially relating to this new subtype.

now remember how i said to put a pin in that other conversation? lets get back to that,

the response i got to my BURNING QUESTIONS was...an idk? the person dming me really had no explanation for why the subtype was rushed out, just that tycho said he had the idea for a while and wanted the rest of the team to expand upon it.

so after my other convo, i was intrigued to learn more about the previously mentioned trouble in paradise. i asked:

"hm, im gonna make an assumption here would you say that tycho and temul pushed out the subspecies without really..consulting? the rest of the [team]? it seems like there wasnt a ton of aggreeance on this and i actually had another person dm me saying that tycho and temul would frequently throw out suggestions from the [rest of the team] like would you say it would be a fair assessment to say that most of the [other members of staff] werent completely on board with the new subspecies being released at the current time and in its current state

this answer was intriguing as well, they said that tycho really didnt pose it to the team, more so just said "here you go, this is what youre doing now." they also confirmed my suspicion that a lot of people really dont agree with the subtype rules, in fact "everyone" wants to change the subtype to not require the planets be circular (which is a pretty dumb rule, even Earth isnt circular), but tycho says no so they just have to roll with it. they say they like tycho and think hes a cool guy, but "sometimes his decision making skills aren’t so hot"

later on in further discussion, they said this (section has been paraphrased by me to protect anonymity)

my guess is they released the subtype in its current state just to give members a taste of whats being worked on in the background, but in my opinion it should have been kept secret until it was completely finalized. both to avoid a community uprorar and confusion, and for the simple fact that its just sloppy and doesnt look good for the species. honestly, we dont even know what things will be changed on official release, the discussions are still ongoing. the team is very disjointed at the moment, there are attempts to make communication with the whole team, but miscommunication is very frequent. there was actually an issue yesterday relating to the new subtype (but i cant go very in depth with that) there are lots of things i dont agree with, but i dont feel like im able to speak up. like for example, the second site idea didnt seem that bad at first, but the more i thought about it the less it made sense. despite that, everyone else seemed fine with it so my opinion really didnt matter anyway.

in addition, they also said that they're losing passion for the species, since every day, every new controversy, and every instance of sweeping things under the rug seems to be bringing everything closer to crumbling down.

what can we gather from all this? well, like previously stated, there seems to be trouble in paradise. this seems like a coy 2.0 situation where everyone can see the clear solution, but the one guy in charge doesnt like it so everyone just has to abide buy his rule. in addition, it seems like terra staff is just a shitty workplace in general, where team members feel they wont have their voices heard, or that their suggestions will immediately be kicked back. i think this is all a VERY interesting glimpse into what things are like behind the scenes, and im curious what others think about it all.

So yknow how in past posts I've said my mom is rude to me (telling me to go to hell is one of the many things she's said) and is nicer to everyone in my family? So yeah basically this all happened not even five minutes ago and basically I say "mom i think I have insomnia and depression can you try and schedule an appointment with my doctor" and she starts saying "no you don't need to go to the doctor your fine" and goes off on "you don't try to sleep at night you stay up and read or draw and think about whatever the fuck you want and you don't try to sleep" like last night I stared up at my ceiling or had my eyes closed and I only got four to five hours of sleep. I tried falling asleep. But I couldn't. I fell asleep at 11:30 last night. And then she starts saying "you dont get to defend yourself" and my irl friend let's me vent abt my mom right and so my mom stops talking and says "who are you texting" nd takes my phone before I can even respond and I say "why can't I talk to my friend" saysi explain why I am and she sits there with her mouth open like shocked or whatever and then she has the audacity to say "you don't get to feel emotions" and you do, mom? You get to decide my emotions? You get to tell me how I feel? Cause you dont. You make me feel like the scum of the earth and I don't matter, but you don't get to tell me that my feelings don't matter. She accuses me of yelling, I'm not yelling. I'm loosing my voice cus I was sick and I'm full on crying cus of all this shit like bro now your standing in the doorway of the bathroom apologizing? "Clean the mascara off your face" why? So dad doesn't see I've been crying? Like sorry i don't hate her, but don't fucking tell me my emotions don't matter then tell me to do shit that'll make it seem like shit didn't happen that's fucking unacceptable and it's beyond cruel to treat your fucking kid like that. And we wonder why people have mental illness and their mental health is bad. COOL. I WILL SPOIL EVERYTHING. LIKE OVERLY DETAILED OVERANALYSIS

Alright so we start in the year 1957, where a man is being tortured. Because that's what happened in 1957, apparently.

This is secret Agent Curt Mega, we love him. He's arrogant, kinda an ass, but he's good at his job.

So the person torturing him is trying to figure out where the blueprints he stole had gone. Curt doesn't give him much information, and the man gives up. He goes "personal history does have it's benefits, Mega" all silly and shit, and then he shoots his assistant in the legs and helps Curt free. This is Agent Owen Carvour of MI6, the most british bitch you've ever fucking met. He is amazing, we love him (probably even more than Curt).

So the two men hatch a plan to escape the compound while and absolutely amazing opening number plays in the background. They start their escape, Curt's drinking because he doesn't really care too much. He also eats a banana, super harmless, and sets the bomb to go off for 3 minutes instead of the agreed upon 4, less smart.

So Curt and Owen get caught, they're running up the stairs and suddenly-

OWEN TRIPS ON THE BANANA AND FALLS OFF THE BALCONY

so yeah, super harmless banana.

We flash forward to 1961, a now bearded Curt is getting a mission briefing. We learn from his informant he hasn't been in the field in 4 years since Owen fell. Curt sings a song about getting off his ass after becoming a shell of himself. Spy again it's who I am doesn't even matter if I killed my best friend, and all that shit.

The next scene we meet a few new characters. Sergio, who's selling a bomb that Curt needs to stop, and the Deadliest Man Alive, who we'll be seeing a lot of. We also meet someone we'll later learn to be Tatiana, a russian, who's doing the same thing as Curt.

They sing a great song about bombs and date nights and shit until Curt comes in to stop the arms deal. When Curt comes down, The DMA turns to him and tries to shoot him before going "this ain't over between you and me" before running off. Sergio gives them the bomb now that the DMA is gone. Tatiana comes over to Curt and tries to take the bomb away, kicking him in the balls before running off with the bomb. Luckily for Curt, he got where she was staying

He goes back to the agency where we meet Cynthia Houston, his boss, who talks about the deadliest man alive and his mission. We also meet Barb, who gives Curt cool spy gadgets before he leaves. She has a very obvious crush on him during this entire show btw.

So Curt goes off to Tati's hotel and basically just tries to get with her for the mission and fails because of Mr Dick Big, what a name. They finally get their time alone and Tati tells him she's not working for the Russians, which surprises Curt. They go up to her room, but they get stopped by the deadliest man alive. It was all a trap to get Curt to fall into their plan.

We meet one of the villains! BARON VON NAZI. He's a silly guy who keeps glitter up his sleeves but he's also... yknow a nazi. He sings a silly song about how people villainize the nazi's and it's all kinda uncomfortable but the song is painfully catchy. They explain their plan to kill a new prince from a republic being formed. Then on that land they're going to build a "nazi super castle" and take over the world.

Curt thinks this is all crazy, and then he's left alone with the DMA. Ahhh Torture Tango, I don't think I can really describe this scene

So Tatiana comes in and saves Curt, but the DMA gets one shot on Curt.

Act 2! We're at the gala in whatever the countries called idk how to spell it and we get MY BOY VANDER SINGING AN AMAZING SONG WE LOVE THE PRINCE MY BELOVED <3

It's revealed that the prince is just the worst, everyone kinda hates him. he's a big dumbass, pretty much. and so Curt comes out, Cynthia's pissed because he was told to abandon the mission and disobeyed, and then not only did she fire him on the spot, he then went up and tried to tell everyone the prince was about to die, and so of course the DMA and Baron shoot the prince.

Tatiana grabs Curt to get him out of there, and then brings him to his mothers safe house. Mrs Mega is great, top tier mom. Overly obsessed with her sons love life, but she's great. So Curt and Tatiana have a conversation about their lives, Tatiana reveals her family history and how she's on the run from the Russians, while Curt talks about the night he lost Owen and how afraid he's been since then.

Tati and Curt kiss. They hate it. Curt's gay! Tati is chill about it, THEY'RE BESTIES AND LOVELY!

Anyways now Curt, Tatiana, Barb, and the Informant all go and drink before their big mission to stop the Nazi's. So they go back to the country I forget the name of, and the informant disguises himself as one of the diplomates and infiltrates their meeting. They all sign this document that gives the land to the Nazi's, and then Curt and Tati come in. The DMA stabs the Baron in the back (literally) and the we get the reveal.

The Deadliest Man Alive goes behind the curtain, takes off his mask, and is revealed to be Owen Carvour, Curt's partner from 4 years ago.

Owen begins to explain his evil plan, his group, Chimera, needs to mine for silicon to make their archival system which will reveal all the words secrets. Owen shoots the informant and runs off, expecting Curt to follow me. Tatiana goes to destroy the base and Curt goes after Owen

Another scene I can't explain and that you just need to watch for yourself

Curt comes back and works to take down Chimera, and that's where the show ends
