On a scale to 'it's all just a dream' to 'the world is gonna fucking DIE', how disastrous would the consequences be if what was inside the studio spread out?

Also, if an urban explorer disregarded warnings and went into the studio, what would they find?

Well, since all this is the result of just a tiny sliver of the black basin being transported to Earth’s surface, it certainly wouldn’t be good. At all. But I think, when taking into terms its sentience (or even sapience), the basin is more like a parasite. If it got out, it wouldn’t gorge itself out in the open, but instead hide itself in nooks and slowly take over different establishments, along with people’s lives.

As for the other question, nothing of note if they weren’t led astray. If no one knew they were coming, and they didn’t stay for long or go too deep, they would just find the interesting but uneventful remains of a once great studio. It only gets weird when someone feeds into that morbid curiosity.

Whilst drawing this, I actually came up with a mini comic idea for him, so keep your eyes out for that, too!

WIP Lyfrassir Edda ultimate sketchbook

I turned Lyfrassir Edda into my dnd character, over a few months I have now over 300 drawings of him. This is a wip of all the traditional art I have of him, compiled together in a cohesive way :)

He’d be a warlock to a great old one, unknowingly spreading the horrors of the Bifrost through knowledge alone as he flees further and further into the outer universe

A bit of backstory on his life back on Midgard :) I’m writing a dnd oneshot set there though I have enough lore to make a campaign

This page is still a wip but this is more of the cultural side of Midgard/ Yggdrasil system as a whole

LOVECRAFTOBER: DAY EIGHT: The Nameless Mist, Magnum Innominandum, Milk of the Void

Affiliation: Court of Azathoth A fun design! Their form in the story/comic is mostly just the background mist monster of many mouths and three eyes. The rare humanoid form appears rarely.

The Nameless Mist is sibling to Darkness and Nyarlathotep and makes up the trio of outer gods that rule supreme with only Azathoth being more powerful. Powerful, chaotic, and with a certain glee for whispering madness across all points of reality, they are revered and feared in equal part.... except by theirsiblings. By Nyarlathotep's own account the Nameless Mist never can shut up, always jabbering away insistently with thousands of voices and mouths. On rare occasions, they will condense into a humanoid form, much like their sibling, taking on a Roman-esque form as the last time they were on Earth was during the height of the Roman empire....and most likely was the whispering voices of insanity in the emperors that brought it low. The Nameless Mist has no care for mortals or other god-like beings. They simply do as they please with a noted disregard for everything. Only their siblings and Tru'Nembra can truly hold their attention in conversation. Not even their own spawn, Yogsothoth matters.

Thoughts on yogsothoth

Yoggy!!!

Yog-Sothoth has for a long time been one of my favorite Mythos entities. I just think it's neat.

A lot of my interpretation is that whenever anyone interacts with it, they're only really getting Part of Yog-Sothoth. Experiencing the full force of its attention would straight up kill someone, just because of how far Beyond humanity it is.

It's also wholly amoral in my interpretation but in the sense that like. The sun is amoral. It is a conscious force of nature, and it doesn't care about humanity. There's no more malice behind Yog-Sothoth melting someone's mind because they looked too far any more than there's malice in long term sun damage leading to skin cancer. It's just what happens if you're exposed to it for too long.

I also think that the Akashic Records of Theosophosy could be part of Yog-Sothoth (both in terms of Lovecraft himself taking inspiration from that and "if a character accesses the Akashic Records they're really just contacting Yog-Sothoth)

Not sure how many people can relate to this but my medical conditions and the rest of who i am clash in the perfect way for my brain to be constantly shifting from “I do not deserve life, nor do i deserve death nor the clickiest of toys” to “FUCK YOU i AM THE MOST POWERFUL GOD IN ALL OF THE POSSIBLE MULTIVERSES i AM ENTROPY i WILL SUMMON YOGSOTHOTH DIRECTLY INTO THE BONES OF THOSE WHO HAVE WRONGED ME” to “the fitness grahm pacer test is the powerhouse of the cell because big business hath decreed that the vampire soup must be filled with the biproducts of the mutilated corpses of the damned” and that throws off everyone that i talk to in increadibly violent ways.
