Something I find so sad is the fact that it would have been so easy to prove who was the Avatar if Yun and Kyoshi had known their birthdays. But since they were both abandoned in some way they didn’t know 😭

Arcane × atla AU (more specific the Kyoshi novels)

[There is the chill version and the "real" version]

Characters:

Kyoshi: born in Zaun, secret daugther of two criminal gang liders (Jesa and Hark)

abandoned at 5/6 at (im divided between a more isolated part of Zaun or a "lower" part of Piltover but im leading more over Zaun) until Kelsang could finally "formally" adopt her at 14y/o when he snoop Kyoshi into a Job (maid like, haven't decided what yet) in the academy (and/or with a scholarship in the chill AU)

Rangi: she and Hei-Ran are from enother contry (fire nation equivalent, idk any League names) but they still nobility and part of the crazy rich people there

Rangi had already finish a military academy in her home nation which could count as school, but she still goes to the academy, both to learn complementary (and maybe get more validation at her job) and to tutor Yun (and non-oficialy Kyoshi)

[She has a job at the Piltover enforcers departament, fully deserved, but she still feels like proving herself over and over on how she isnt there just bc of her mother]

Yun: also from Zaun, really smart and charismatic which helped him make lots of money as a swindler tricking people, is now Jianzhu pupil and top studant in the academy

Jianzhu wants him to be a politician so bad but Yun secretly is not sure if that what he want, especially bc its already corroding his happines when he didnt even graduate yet

I still haven't decide how i will make the Kuruk magic legacy part or an avatar equivalent and make it tragic for the "real AU" but ITS THERE

Jianzhu: concil member (the worse type, a mix of that blond one with ambessa, or "Piltover Silco")

target of Jinx's (Yun's) bomb

Kelsang: also a concil member, but in a Haimerdinger type of way

he could maybe still be a monk (or the universe equivalent) who got in troble for some situation with the concil (he know how corrupt and mess up it is, but he dosen't have much power there)

Knows Kyoshi since she was a kid, and its trying to find a way to help/adopt her since forever, but for piltover goverment is trash reasons it took until she was like 14

Life long friends with Hei-Ran, Jianzhu and Kuruk (if he is alive or dead depends of what version of this AU you prefer) but he notice how they can may be starting to be a bit more corrupt/greedy (Jianzhu, with Hei-Ran acepting) or ""lazy"" (Kuruk)

Hei-Ran: basically the same of canon, really good mother/mother-in-law, ex head mistress of the academy Rangi was in, and at a really high position in Piltover (still dont know if its in the concil or in the academy)

Cassandra paralels, im not gonna extend much on this one

Flying opera company:

Kyoshi's (and Rangi's but she wont admit it yet) Zaunites friend [Every character paralel with them its dead so im not doing this rn]

How long they know each other depend on the version: Kyoshi goes looking for them when everything goes nuts in the real version, and indeterminate (idk yet) in the chill version

Ether way they join her in finding ways to improve life conditions Zaun and give it independence

(you can interpret this as "Kyoshi studing to graduate in sociology or smth like that" from "Kyoshi as a fusion of Jinx and Vi")

[In my opinion she's more of a Ekko then a Jinx/Servica but still counts]

Also if they are still a full on smugglers gang or just some trouble kids in high school its up to the au version

just saying It would be pretty funny if they go to the academy too and Kyoshi is friends with both the little revolutionary theater/dance group and the top class students rich kids with no in between

(Jimpa its her friend too in but idk exacly what to do to him [and Lao Ge] yet)

This is and took longer then i expected so i'll be doing the diferences between the chill AU/real AU in enother post (maybe idk)

But basically the chill one its just a high school/magic academy AU

But the other one wont follow exacly the Arcane nor the novels story, im thinking in a mix of both (like, the Kyoshi Yun mix up will happen, and its related with Kuruk, but add hextec and black rose to it) so i still have to think about it more
