So, my headcanon voices so far:

Zool - sounds like either David Tennant as the 10th Doctor or Daniel Radcliffe

Zooz - sounds like either Martha or Rose, the 10th Doctor's companions

Zoon - the smart half sounds like Larry Bundy Jr., the goofier half, on the other hand, sounds more like Matt Rose

I wanted to contribute to this fandom (of three people) with biological hcs lol.

I couldn't tell you what their teeth could look like.

Other things I didn't make images of: This alien species can consume and tolerate large doses of sugar (the reason Zool is always eating candy).

Their blood comes in various shades of green, a few of which are almost greenish yellow.

Despite not having many fingers, they have a great grip.

It's funny how just about EVERY source that talks about Zool says the first game is about the title character crash landing on Earth and defeating Krool's baddies there when clearly, that's not the case.

Sure, he DOES end up on Earth in the book, Cool Zool (and the cliffhanger ending in Zool Rules by extension), in a very isekai sort of way, but the manuals for both of the games make no mention of Earth as a setting (not to mention the levels are basically set in some real weird and trippy locations).

It's right up there with all the magazines thinking Zool was an ant back in the 90s to the point Gremlin had to do a little stunt to dispell that myth lol. Only ants in the games are the ones made out of music notes. XD

Green eneloid – leaves planet

Pixel art for today based on videogame Zool 2 for computer system IBM PC MS DOS. Beautfiul colorful graphics! And such interesting characters, a little strange, but bright and beautiful worlds.

All of these - it is very interesting to explore! I remember how I like to play in Jazz Jackrabbit. And in this game - I played too! But in first part. Game about a squirrel it was – maybe, it was mr Nutz. I like a lot, all the time, a game when such 2d games, where there is interesting background. And you jump, you walk, doing something! It is very deep process! Such adventure!

And this is my drawing based on the same theme. Green eneloid is walking by planet. So, here are growing purple leaves. And, under the ground – buried a big eggs. Of some creatures. Eneloid don’t take a risk, right now, to dig them out and to look what is it. Mainly, trees are here more close to a fence. But it is, they are a trees. So, only thing you have - is to walk along such roads – a places with no such trees.

And here by sky - a little ducklings , chickens are flying and some green things with eyes. They are, as idea, not dangerous. But, they are not taking you into account. And can crush into you. They are, simply, fly, all of them into one direction. So, once in one side, and after in another side. And lots of them, every time!

Interesting planet, it is, for this time – green eneloid thinks.

So, it is a funny thing, that Zool is green, Jazz Jackrabbit is green too! And here green eneloid – he also will be green! I played a lot in Jazz Jackrabbit with brother at MS DOS. It is even better, maybe, then a Sonic for Sega! I am serious! So, a lot this game, I like, and my brother too!
