I bring you Part 2 of Chapter 5 from "The Nightmare Before Halloween - The Scarecrow and the Hatter"

“They’re here.”

Punctually at 8:30 PM, just as Walker had foreseen, the Wayne family arrived at the party. They were our main target.

“I’ll turn on the visors.”

“Bruce Wayne is not wearing his mask.”

Fuck. Our goal was to neutralize Batman and he’d just ruined everything.

Drury/Cameron turned on the built-in microphone on the communicator so we could hear what was going on.

“Mr. Wayne! I was starting to think you wouldn’t come!”

“Mr. Van Cleer! Thank you for the invitation!”

“I couldn’t leave you out of it. What happened to your mask?”

“Oh, it ended up breaking while I was getting dressed…” He went on, but was cut by Jervis’ voice:

“Liar, my masks don’t break like that! He did what? Layed a hammer on it?”

“That’s a shame, Mr. Wayne. If you’d like, we have some spare masks that were offered to the reporters.”

“Don’t worry, Cameron. I don’t even like masks, they prevent people from appreciating my face.”

Drury/Cameron laughed.

“Well, these are my children: The oldest, Richard and Jason, the girls, Stephanie and Cassandra, and the middle ones, Timothy and Duke.”

Nightwing, Red Hood, Spoiler, Orphan, Red Robin and Signal. But where’s Robin?

“Damian Wayne is not there?!” I was starting to get desperate.

“Pleasure to meet you! Your youngest couldn’t make it?”

“No, Damian is studying with a friend.”

Even from outside Batman ruined my plans. Our plan included kidnapping Damian Wayne, but how would we do that if he wasn’t there?

“Oh, right. Well, enjoy the party! If you need anything, let me know.”

I banged my head two times against the van’s wall.

“Ok. Mad Hatter, change of plans. Let’s get… I don’t know…”

I thought about it for a second. Who would be the best option? We got to a conclusion at the same time:

“Tim Drake?”

Mad Hatter giggled.

“Great.” I said with a sigh. “But we need a way to neutralize Wayne.”

“Good news, the masks’ cameras are all working, including Mr. Wayne’s that is not broken at all!” Dammit. “The other Waynes are wearing masks. That’s nice.”

“Thank goodness.”

“Bad news.” I heard Lynns’ voice on the comms. “Nygma just saw that there will be night patrol at the bank. Five armed guards.”

Really? Things couldn’t get worse… Could they? My anxiety kicked in. It must have been noticeable, because Mad Hatter started talking to me:

“Scarecrow, it’ll be fine. We have plans B, C, D and everything for these situations. Breathe.” Breath in. “About neutralizing Wayne: I have an idea.” Breath out.

“Alright. Everything is fine. It’ll work.”

I spent the next minutes trying to keep positive thoughts: the money we would get, all the planning Jervis and I had done, me punching Penguin’s face, people screaming… That sort of thing. When I realized, the bank employees were getting out the front door and locking it up. The lights were still on and I could see the silhouettes of armed people inside. I hate it when Edward’s right.

I waited 15 minutes, like I had planned, and exited the van silently. The road was completely deserted, except for me and the car that must’ve belonged to the guards. I heard a caw. I looked behind and on top of the van was Nightmare, my pet crow.

“Good evening, Nightmare. Are you ready?”

“Ready!”

Yes, my crow speaks. No, I didn’t teach him. He’s just very smart, like most crows in fact, and learned by hearing people talk. I like to bring him on my plans, for the aesthetic more than anything.

Edward taught me how to turn off the bank’s security system. I got my laptop from the van, kneeled next to the door and started working on it. After five minutes, I heard the door unlocking and the lights went out. Inside, the guards yelled orders. I went in moments before one of them turned up at the entrance.

Review of 2023 Season

Summary

A mixed season. After the challenge of raising teams in 2022, we reduced our fixture list to just six matches. Once again, we struggled to raise a full squad for most games except for the last match when we were oversubscribed and pleased to have some youngsters playing for us…..which keeps us encouraged for the future!

With our tour to Wales, and a match played on the beach, we have now played in atotal of 20 countries, seven English counties and on 51 different grounds…

Lynchmere. Lost

A timed game at Lynchmere. After declaring on 193 for five after 40 overs in 2022, this year was very different….. we batted disappointingly and were all out for 51after just 21 overs. Only Dick White (19) and Peter Doolen (10) reached double figures. Lynchmere reached the required target in 18 overs with just one wicket from Callan Green.

Hambledon Invitational. Match Abandoned / Rain stopped play

A 60 over game at Lurgashall. Hambledon batted first and declared at 203 for 7 after 29 overs. Two wickets each for Callan Green and Chris Booth; one wicket each for Pacer Scholfield and Adam Saward and a run out. Sadly the rain came down during the tea interval and so the match was abandoned.

Harry Baldwins. Draw

A 70 over game at Lurgashall. The Baldwins declared on 200 for five after 35 overs with two of their team retiring at the agreed 40 runs. There were two wickets for Dick White and a wicket each for Chris Booth, Peter Doolen and Joe Cuthbert. Two catches for Chris Booth and one (unusually) held by the wicket keeper. In reply, the Hammer Bottoms were 176 for eight after our allotted 35 overs. Good scores from Peter Doolen (35), Chris Booth (36), Mark Elliott (25) and Martin Waterhouse (29 not out)…. with James Blake and Martin batting sensibly at the end to secure the Draw.

Mad Hatters. Lost

A 70 over game at Lurgashall. Keen to avenge last years defeat, the Hatters declared on 242 for five after 31 overs with six of their batsmen retiring at the required 30 runs. Adam Saward got three wickets with a wicket each for Martin Waterhouse (close to his 70th birthday) and Richard Reincke (well into his eight decade!) In reply, Hammer Bottoms were all out for 107 with only Peter Doolen (38), Adam Saward (15), Martin Waterhouse (14) and David Graham (10) getting double figures. We were also helped by their Extras of 17! After 18 matches over the years, the Mad Hatters lead 6 -5.

White Hunters. Lost

A 70 over game at Lurgashall. The White Hunters put in a strong batting performance and declared on 252 for three after 34 overs. There was a wicket each for Richard Reincke, Will Fry and Pacer Scholfield….but with some expensive overs including Richard’s 22 making it the Most Expensive Over of the Season! In reply, the Hammer Bottoms were all out for 155 after 32 overs. Good scores from Pacer Scholfield (49), Andrew Mackenzie and Peter Doolen (16). We were kindly lent two White Hunter batsmen (Tim Gardner and Richard Perkins) but they failed to help us survive the final four overs to secure a draw!

Wimbledon Wombats. Won

A 70 over game at Lurgashall. The 12 man Wombats team batted first and were all out for 109 runs after 28 overs. There were two wickets each for Joe Cuthbert, Peter Doolen, Richard Reincke and Rishi Deb and one wicket each for Chris Booth, Freddie Saward (making a welcome return to the cricket pitch!) and James Bradley. The Bottoms got the required runs after 26 overs with good scores fromPeter Doolen (35), James Bradley (29 not out), and Pacer Scholfield (11)

Penolau yn Cymru

An Autumn tour to North Wales saw 30 of us play golf at Nefyn and Porthmadog, visit various castles and other sights, climb or train up Snowdon and play cricket on Black Rock Sands, Morfa Bychan, Porthmadog in North Wales…..making Wales our 20th country in which we have played cricket and the beach our 51st “ground”!

“C” VI v “D” VI Won by “C” VI

A six over format was agreed with each player bowling and batting for one over. The D’s batted first and scored 43 runs in their allotted overs. The C’s reached the target with three balls to spare and so retain the trophy. Highlights of the game included Richard Reincke in full cricket whites; a caught and bowled by Tom Plant; Shane Galtress’s batting; Charlie Meade-King’s dubious underarm bowling; and Dick White chasing the ball for over 100 yards as it was being blown towards the sea while James Blake ran eight runs, overtaking his batting partner, Richard Reincke!

2024 Season Outlook

We are keeping our six fixtures from 2023 and also have The Tablelands visiting from New Zealand. We played them in 2018 in a three-way T20 Tournament with Hong Kong Cricket Club and the memorable occasion of Charlie Meade-King getting five wickets for just eight runs! Hopefully, we shall be able to encourage more younger players to join us as we have another batch of regular players turning 70 this year! The Cornish Golf Tour is being repeated in April and in October we have 25 Hammer Bottoms visiting Japan, with one cricket match scheduled, against the Yokohama Country & Athletic Club.

So I am doing two Roddy lists,one for good guys ,one for bad guys as he was one of those actors who could easilly play both

So I might be cheating here.....Cause I haven SEEN it , this is a stage performance ,and it was never recorded fully ......However we do have the cast recording ,where Roddy does sing one song .....And based on his performance there ,and the fact this role helped catapult him into his career as a character actor ,I want a time machine so I can see this performance.In the song he oozes gleeful evilness .BEcause only one song exists ,I cant put him higher then 10 though

One of the more unique one off villain in the 60's Batman show , a failed author who can memorize books at super speed but cant write anythi9ng original ,turned supervillain who does book related crimes

5.Mephistopheles from The Devil and Mandy Breem/The Devil and Mr Rourke from Fantasy Island

Roddy delivers a rather interesting and menacing take on the devil ,and it is so entertaining to see him go head to head with Ricardo Montalbans Mr Rourke

4.Snowball from Pinky and the Brain

A super intelligent hamster and arch enemy of the Brain ,who better to play the superinteligent mouses arch enemy then Roddy

3.Tabaaqui from Mowglis Brothers

Roddy plays multiple roles in this adaptation of Rudyard Kipling classic story ,including the two villains,and while I think his Shere Khan is meh he is perfect for the slimey toady that is Tabaaqui the Jackal

2.Octavian from Cleopatra

The role that nearly got Roddy an oscar nomination if Fox didnt screw up , he steals the entire film from Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton ,despite mainly being in the second half,as the wonderfully conniving Octavian .The highlight of his performance is when he learns of Marc Antonys death

1.Jervis Tetch /Mad Hatter from Batman the Animated Series

My favorite villain in the show behind the Joker ,he breathed life into a C list rogue ,and is also the villain of my favorite episode Perchance to Dream .I think Roddy delivers a superb performance as this Wonderland obsessed rogue

So as you may already be aware, I'm friends with Richard K., The C. Cat, and he has told me things. Oh lord, things.

One was that it was thought by many that Hatter and Hare acted like a couple. The executive producer particularly would joke about it. AND he knew that takes had to be redone sometimes because of small things that were "too slashy" for Disney happening between them.

There was a time on youtube where diehard religious moms complained about the shippers being perverted, and it felt really good to say "well, there was some shipping going on by the cast and crew so joke's on you."

Also, LOL @ Reece for saying a few months ago "yeah, I guess I will have to agree [that Hatter was cute] since apparently he was my husband".

no kiss fine morning F56 ½° at 8 ¼ - A- with me in my study looking over Mrs. Briggs’s account - breakfast at 9 Richard Woodhead waiting for A- he waited till 10 and we then walked with him to Spa house wood, and fixed upon a large Scotch fir to be cut down for making out the new stable with at upper Holcans - from Spa house direct to Oozle hall (cottages) Henry Ingham there - A- agreed to give him 10/. a rood for taking the bit in below the garden, and throwing it to the garden - he strode it over and said there would be 4 roods - A- saw her cottage tenant and spoke about their being in arrear - her husband lived many years as farming man with Mr. Clark ‘at the hall’ (near) but when Mrs. Clarke died, he pulled him off a shilling a week, and so the man would not stay - had 8/. a week and his meat and would not stay to have only 7/. a week and his victuals - A- and I walked round by Pule neck and the old Bradford road to Northgate - there at 12 ¼ - took Mr. Husband to Hatter’s fold - then went with him to Water Lane mill - Longish while there - A- said Bairstow must be the person to prevent the mill people

A- said she would speak to Mr. Washington about it - sorry the man had not spoken to her before on the subject - before the masonwork was let - ...... shewed us the plan of his new house - to be completed by his cousin Bottomley for £146. told us this - but had not told Charles L- and begged us not to mention it - nor would he tell Mr. Washington who was Mr. Blackburne’s steward but told us it was - Mr. Peace attorney of Huddersfield, a very nice man - A- very civil to the Messrs. Haigh (3 brothers) of Honley who came fearing they had offended and apologizing then begging for a new building to their mill to cost £200 then they said £150 - without paying any percentage! - they have the mill cheap and 14 years of lease unexpired - A- said she would all required by the lease but nothing more - at 4 A- on the pony and I on ft. picked up Joseph Mann at Listerwick wheel race and went to Hipperholme Lane-ends to see about the water - Joseph M- to sink a hole 4ft. diameter in Thwaite’s tanhouse field just below the top wall to see if plenty of water could not be found there and carried down to the public house cottages A- has lately bought of Parchett - A- and I returned together about 5 20 - with Robert Mann + 4 at the great main drain - had Mr. Husband - the green room finished - made very neat and tidy by Mallinson’s man and boy (vid. Friday last) - dinner at 6 ½ - on coming thro’ the hall found George had hung the 2 dinner napkins on one of the arm chairs before the fire to dry (too damp on being taken from the press) odd appearance - called George - said I was shocked - this would not do - to ask Mrs. Briggs to shew him how to lay down the napkins and not make them too damp - spoke to Mrs. Briggs and asked her to shew him - at dinner found he had taken in the bottle of marsala with the cork drawn and an empty decanter to the Messrs. Haigh - I had told him to take them in to A- and me at dinner - he misunderstood - and I thought there would be no more of it - dinner at 6 ½ - coffee - as we were sitting at coffee - George came in, and said, he was sorry he had not been so comfortable of late - ‘I am sorry, too’ said I ‘but if you are not comfortable and if you think you can be more comfortable anywhere else, you can but try’ - he ‘should wish to try this day month’ - ‘very well’, said I very calmly ‘then you shall do so’ - and here the matter ended - A- did her French - A- and I agreed nobody would be very sorry at George’s going, and John (his father) soon after came to the door with a grim on his face, and looking more cheerful than we had seen him for long - wrote the last 37 lines till 9 55 pm then A- and I went to my aunt for 20 minutes - fine day - fair but cold and dull, and highish wind towards night - cold wind on the high ground all the day - raining at 11 25

What Dreams May Come, Pt.10

Henry’s Dreamscape. Refugee Camp. (Henry squats beside his motorcycle and opens his Tron lunchbox, which he now uses as a toolbox.) Henry: “Okay, Zen and the art of fixing a busted motorcycle. First lesson, know thy tools. Starting with the humble torque wrench.” Ella: (Taking the wrench:) “I like this torque wrench. Thanks for letting me help. Really.” (The moment is interrupted by three smelly thugs.) Thug 1: “The magical carriage is real. Bet it's worth its weight in gold.” Henry: “And let me guess. You fine fellows are here to kill us and take it?” Thug 1: “Hey, he's smarter than he looks.” Henry: “Yeah. Good thing you’re not.” (Henry and Ella leap into action, Ella armed with the wrench, Henry with his toolbox. The pair of them make short work of the thugs, working as a team and running off the would-be robbers.) Henry: (To Ella:) “You okay?” Ella: “Yeah, I’m fine. Nothing we couldn’t handle.” Soldier: “How about us?” (Turning at the sound of the voice, Henry and Ella see that a platoon of men have surrounded the camp. Glancing at their armour, Ella can tell they’re part of King Richard’s army.)

Storybrooke. (David sits outside his house on the front steps, staring at the coin in his hand. Upon hearing his name spoken, David looks up to see no one around. After hearing it again, he gets up to investigate. Seeing nothing, he is about to blame it on the wind when he turns and comes face to face with a vision of a man who's hands are covered in blood.) David: (Shocked:) "Father?" (Overcome by the sight of his long-dead father, David collapses to the ground.) Storybrooke. The Dragon’s Lair. (Needing a pick-me-up from her disappointing adventure through the dreamscape, Zelena sits at the bar drinking while Maleficent listens with less than a sympathetic ear.) Zelena: (Downing another shot:) "I know it was only a dream, but I couldn't even make that work." Maleficent: "A blind man and his two annoying, self-righteous children? Sounds to me like you had a lucky escape. Listen Red, count yourself lucky for what you have, not what you want. Besides, men are usually far more trouble than they're worth, trust me. (Spots Robin enter to begin her shift:) Oh, thank god. Robin, customer for you." (With that, Maleficent turns and heads toward her office in the back and out of sight.)

Zelena: "Hey stranger, when did you get back?" Robin: "You're kidding, right? Haven't you heard?" Zelena: "No, I... haven't really checked in with anyone, I came straight here." Robin: "From the dream world?" Zelena: "Yes, but how did you... Oh, your aunts told you didn't they?" Robin: "Yeah and Mom, you can't mess around with that stuff anymore. Promise me." Zelena: (Scoffs:) "I don't think that'll be a problem, my experience was hardly what you'd call fulfilling. But enough about that, what's your news?" Robin: (Takes a deep breath:) "When Alice and I crossed the town line back into Storybrooke, some guy followed us." Zelena: "What?" Robin: (Nods:) "From the Land Without Magic." Zelena: "So, what happened?" Robin: "Well at first we thought we caused it, but it turns out the guy was texting and driving so that's why he... drove into a tree." Zelena: "The bloody idiot. Were you hurt?" Robin: (Shaking her head:) "No, Alice and I are fine, but the guy had some injuries." Zelena: "Serves him right, the daft twit. I'm so glad you're all right." Robin: "Yeah, me too. Jefferson said that dreamscapes are not to be messed with." Zelena: "The Mad Hatter? What's he got to do with it?" Robin: "He's the one who warned Alice and I about the dream world. He said bad things will happen if-" Zelena: "Oh, sweetie. There's a reason he's known as the Mad Hatter. The man's bonkers. Don't worry about him." Robin: "Well he sounded pretty serious about it." Zelena: "Yeah, well you've nothing to worry about. My dreamscape was one big bust." Robin: "Why, what happened?" Zelena: "It doesn't matter. I went there looking for something that just... wasn't meant to be." Robin: "I'm sorry." Zelena: "No, I'm sorry. Robin, I want you to know something. Any happiness I have, it all began with you." (Mother and Daughter stand and embrace as Zelena allows a tear to fall down her cheek.) Storybrooke General Hospital. (Greg Mendell walks back to his room attached to an IV stand. Entering, he finds two people waiting for him.) Rumplestiltskin: "Ah, Mr. Mendell. Glad to see you're up and around." Greg: "W-who are you?" Rumplestiltskin: (Gesturing toward her:) "This is Alice. She was there at the scene of your accident and wanted to see how you were." Greg: "I-I'm fine." Alice: "Are you sure? My girlfriend and I feel partly responsible for what happened." Greg: (Shaking his head and taking a seat beside her on the bed:) "No, please, it was my fault. I should've been concentrating on the road." Alice: "Well, as long as you're all right." Greg: (Smiles:) "I'll live. (Turning to look at the man beside them:) A-and you are?" Rumplestiltskin: "That's not half as important right now as finding out who you are." Greg: "I-" Rumplestiltskin: "No, no, dearie. Not here. My friend and I have many questions and I think it best if we were not disturbed while I ask them. Let's go for a drive, shall we?" (Greg glances nervously at Alice, who smiles.) On The Road. (Alice stares at Rumplestiltskin while he drives.) Alice: "I don't know about this." Rumplestiltskin: "Alice, we're just going to ask our friend a few questions." Alice: "Yeah, but-" Rumplestiltskin: "I had my suspicions about Mr. Mendell the moment he entered our lives. Now with the sudden reappearance of our mutual acquaintance, along with his warning, there's definitely more going on that meets the eye." Alice: "You think Mr. Mendell isn't who he says he is?" Rumplestiltskin: "Oh, I know he isn't. Alice, those protective spells across the town line are among the most powerful magic ever created. No mere 'ordinary' man should ever have been able to penetrate them." Alice: (Glancing back towards the trunk of the car:) "So who do you think he is?" Rumplestiltskin: "I'm not sure. But if my inkling is correct, we could all be in a lot of danger." (Alice's eyes widen at this, looking once more towards the trunk and the faint sound of pounding coming from it.)

Kingdom Of Valencia. (The Jester exits his quarters just as Madelena corners him.) Queen Madelena: “Where are you going? It's time for four o’clock fool-around.” Jester: “Is it? M-my sundial must be slow because of the... c-clouds.” Queen Madelena: “If you're worried I'm upset about you helping my husband with that ridiculous show, then don't be. Who cares? He's an idiot.” Jester: (Pulling away from her:) “Yes, well, that's the thing. I don't think I can do this anymore. I guess I just feel a little... guilty.” Queen Madelena: “Well, that's very noble of you to care about someone's feelings. Guards! If you're developing a conscience, then you're no good to me. (To the guards:) Take him to the dungeon, the really scary one. With the mice.” Jester: “Wait, no! Please! (As he’s being dragged away:) At least let me change my clothes! These are gang colors!” King Richard: (Rounding the corner:) “Oh, hello. I was just coming to see Steve.” Queen Madelena: “Who's Steve?” King Richard: “Steve McKinzie. The jester. You don't know his name? Well, no matter. (Taking her arm:) Say, what do you call a tiny mosquito in a tin suit?” Queen Madelena: (Allowing herself to be lead away:) “Oh, God.” King Richard: “Nope. A gnat in shining armor. (Chuckles:) I've got so many of these.” Queen Madelena: “Please stop talking.” King Richard: (Laughing:) “No, I love talking with you.”

Storybrooke. Swan-Mills House. Morning. (Extracting herself gently from her wife's embrace, Regina slowly sits up, fixes her hair and pads softly towards the bathroom. A short time later, at the sound of the shower running, Emma yawns then pushes herself up onto her elbows. With only the slightest hint of trepidation, Emma slides out of bed and walks over to the bathroom. Standing at the door, she smiles at the sound of singing coming from the shower.) Regina: (Upon seeing Emma enter the steam filled room:) "Hey, you." Emma: (Stretches languidly:) "Hey yourself." Regina: "Well? You coming in here or not?" (With a smirk, Regina turns her back and resumes her shower. Not needing to be asked twice, Emma quickly removes her shirt and underwear before joining her wife.) Emma: (Kissing Regina's shoulder:) "Good morning." Regina: "Mm, morning." Emma: "Well this is definitely different to last time we were in here together." Regina: "Mmhmm. A lot has changed for the better." Emma: "You're telling me. (Sliding her hands softly up and over her wife's belly:) We're getting pretty big." Regina: (Laughing:) "Yes we are." (Placing her hands over Emma's, Regina turns and faces her wife, kissing her deeply.) Emma: (As they part briefly:) "I wasn't too rough with you, was I? I mean-" Regina: "Shh. Baby and I are fine. All that remains is the memory and the glorious night's sleep that came with it." Emma: (Slightly relieved:) "That's great to hear. I know it was just a dream, that we weren't really there but-" Regina: "It was real to us. Every. (Kiss:) Magical. (Kiss:) Moment of it." Emma: "I have never felt closer to you than I do right now, and I am so excited we're on this journey together." Regina: (Smiles:) "Forever."

A Short Time Later. (Having showered and dressed, the pair are about to head down to breakfast when Regina calls Emma back.) Regina: "Emma, about yesterday... You were right. I was a little rough on Snow and she didn't deserve it." Emma: "She'll forgive you, it's what Mom does." Regina: "Yeah, I know, but... I guess old habits die hard. I shouldn't be keeping her at arms length. She's family and despite our history, I truly care for her." Emma: "She loves you too, so much." Regina: "I know. I'll make it up to her somehow. I just wanted you to know that..." Emma: "Message received." Regina: "Yeah." Emma: "Awesome. (Taking her wife's hand, she leads them toward the stairs:) And all it took was me pounding you against a tree." Regina: "Emma! (As Emma laughs:) You know our son could've heard that." Emma: “He’s not even here. And trust me, if Henry’s dreamscape is half as fun as ours, it’ll take a lot more than that to wake him up.” Henry's Dreamscape. Kingdom of Valencia. (Ella, Henry and several of the refugees are lead into the castle by the king's soldiers. Standing at the staircase is a gloating King Richard.) King Richard: "Well, well, well. How the mighty have fallen. Princess Ella of Valencia and her rebels. (To a guard:) Has she been searched?" Guard: "Yes, Sire." King Richard: (As the guard holds out the Jewel of Valencia:) "Ah ha. I'll take that, thank you. (To Henry:) And if it isn't the hero." Henry: "The name's Henry and this isn't over yet." (Seizing the guard's sword, Henry manages to disarm three soldiers before turning to see Ella in Gareth's grasp.) Gareth: (With a knife at Ella's throat:) "Your move... 'Cause I haven't killed anybody all day.” King Richard: “Gareth! We agreed I would say the cool things.” Gareth: (To Henry:) “So, what's it gonna be?” King Richard: “Damn it, Gareth!” Henry: “Fine.” (Drops the sword.) Ella: “Henry, no!” Henry: “Now let her go.” King Richard: “You are so noble. But, no, I don’t think I will. Well, well, well... Looks like it's time for dinner. (To Gareth:) Nailed it.” Gareth: “Boom.” The Dungeons. (Henry, Ella and the other prisoners are lead into the dungeons.) King Richard: (To Ella:) “Well, normally I would let you say your goodbyes but I'm executing Henry the hero straight away. Guards, take this man to the gallows immediately.” Ella: (As Henry is hauled away and a hood put over his head, Gareth closes the cell door:) “No!” King Richard: (To Gareth:) “Hmm. It's nice to finally have people down here. Feels lived in.” 

Storybrooke. (Dressed only in his hospital gown and robe, Greg Mendell is shoved inside a shipping container. Following him inside are Alice and Rumplestiltskin.) Rumplestiltskin: "There, we shouldn't be disturbed here. Now, dearie. Who are you?" Greg: "M-my name is Greg Mendell, I'm from-" Rumplestiltskin: "Don't insult my intelligence. Tell me who you really are." Greg: (Looking back and forth between Alice and Rumplestiltskin:) "Okay, I give up, who the hell am I?" Alice: "Sometimes that's the greatest puzzle isn't it?" Rumplestiltskin: "Tell us who you are!" Greg: "You're mad, you've gone mad." Alice: (Shakily:) "We're all mad here!" (Alice suddenly pulls out a gun.) Rumplestiltskin: "Alice, what are you doing?" Alice: "This was in your glove box. I thought you wanted me to bring it?" Rumplestiltskin: "No, I keep that for my protection. I still have enemies. Now, put the gun down." Alice: "No, sorry. We don't have a choice." Greg: (Panicked:) "Why are you doing this?" Alice: (Waving the gun around frantically:) "Because we need answers." Rumplestiltskin: "Alice, no!" (When Rumplestiltskin makes a move for the gun, it goes off, shooting him. Aghast at what she's just done, Alice drops the gun as Rumplestiltskin collapses to the floor, a pool of blood forming around him. Having seen more than enough, Greg Mendell turns and runs out of the container, as fast as his legs will carry him.) Henry's Dreamscape. Kingdom Of Valencia. Gallows. (Striding confidently onto the platform, Richard approaches the hooded man.) King Richard: "Not so tough, are you now, (Removes the hood:) Henr- (The Chef is revealed underneath the hood:) Aah!!" Chef: "Aah!!" Meanwhile... (Henry is pushed into a chair and his hood removed. Laid before him is an exquisite banquet of food.) Queen Madelena: (Entering the room:) "Hello, darling." Henry: (Turns:) "Queen Madelena?" Queen Madelena: "There's braised rabbit and Bordaux." Henry: "You saved me?" Queen Madelena: "Oh, I've done a lot more than that. (Picking up a bread knife, she cuts Henry's hands free:) I have a proposal for you. (Taking a seat opposite:) I've written someone, and he's coming to execute my plan. He doesn't play nice. (Raising her goblet:) Everything's about to change."

George: Yes, the sequencing, I wouldn't have a potatoes and steak dinner, but I would have steak and potatoes.
