Hey Foxes,

I’m very sorry to be making this announcement, and sorry if it comes as a surprise, but after over a year and nine months, it’s time to say goodbye to The Foxhole Court. 

Nothing prepared me to lose over twelve characters in the span of a little over a month, and with both our recent losses and a number of remaining members consistently just barely skirting activity limits, I feel like I can no longer keep the roleplay going. I’ve put so much work into this place over the past several years, and it’s extremely sad for me to see the enthusiasm and commitment decrease to a fraction of what it once was. 

I’m grateful to have been able to run a roleplay for this long, and for all the games, gossip, and good times we’ve had along the way. For those of you who have stuck around to the end, thank you. 

For those of you playing canon characters, please remember that I created those bios explicitly for use at TFC. I ask that you do not take them elsewhere.

Hey Foxes!  That concludes tonight’s acceptances, and I’m thrilled to be welcoming our newest character to the Foxhole Court! I’ll be updating tags and pages shortly, so please let me know if you notice any mistakes!

Our next acceptances will take place one week from today on Sunday at 8PM EST.  We still have many open characters that I would love to see taken—especially our Vice Captain Claudia, who is very needed! We also have several slots available for original characters, both Foxes and Vixens.

We’ll be sticking in this timeline for another week, so keep that post-game action going! And, as always, I’m around to answer any questions you may have.

CONGRATULATIONS, BEE, YOU’VE BEEN ACCEPTED AS SYDNEY McCRAY!

To me, Sydney is someone who’s really struggling for balance. She wears two faces: the loving face she wears for her family, who she’d do anything to protect, isn’t one that very many other people get to see. She was afraid to leave her father because he needed her—but she didn’t how much she needed him, how protective she’d become of him, and how anxious she became away from him. It kept her from living her own life—in a way that her father never meant. I can’t wait to see where you take her!

Hey Foxes! And happy Friday! A reminder that our next acceptances will take place at their usual time of Sunday at 8PM EST, should I receive any applications before that time.

Claudia is our Vice Captain and, as our first season and first school-year wind down, our Captain-in-waiting. And, as a note, to fix our persistent problem of having too many dealers and not enough of everything else, I’ve switched her to a backliner.
