i present to you all: spontaneous jaffa cake baking! the ghibli vibes were honestly perfect. i promised myself a week or two ago that i would start putting myself back into a work schedule in september in preparation for the university term starting in october - coming back to academia after being on lockdown since march is going to be exhausting and incredibly challenging, especially given that i’m about to enter my first year of uni at an institution renowned for rigorous study regimes, so i reckon i’d better get a head start! might even have to finally jump into the 100 days of productivity challenge to keep me on track

Okay I’m gonna blow my own horn for a moment. At the beginning of this year I got a traumatic brain injury that left me seriously unwell. I experienced serious cognitive and physical impairments and I’ve worked so hard at rehabilitating my body and mind. I’m no stranger to physical injury but this year has been really hard, especially losing my memory and ability to concentrate and speak and think.

Anyway, I worked my ass off, graduated uni and started honours and I had my first shift back at work on Monday!!! I’m exhausted but so proud of myself and grateful for my health.
