I've always liked how Sokka isn't the only Water Sibling who picks up new, distinctively Water Tribe armor for the Day of Black Sun.

Katara doesn't wear the heavier set that Sokka and Hakoda don, maybe since her chosen role as a healer and flexible bender make it impractical, but I think her matching wrist, foot and shin plates with moon insignia show how her family and peers recognize her importance and capability as a vital part of the invasion.

Also, Water Sibs with cute little matching shoes is just adorable.
