So, I’m currently in the midst of attempting the NaNoWriMo (no affiliation to the official site cuz I’ve heard some bad things there) and although I am well behind on my progress(and will most likely not complete the challenge), I do have to say that I have completed more writing than I have done in my numerous past failed writing projects.
For those who have heard of the challenge to write 50k words, yes it is hard especially when you have the levels of procrastination that I have. Still, it has been a good experience, and it has led me into actually finishing the project, even post November. Additionally the concept of “just write don’t edit” has done wonders, though I will say that I didn’t fully understand this concept until I took a Fiction writing class this year.
So, in other words, this account may crawl back from the grave as I slowly but surely post updates on my progress.

The other day, my friends and I were discussing Fanfics, and it reminded me of a StarCraft isekai fanfic that I was really into back in middle school. When I managed to find it , I was immediately sad to see that it had stopped being updated back in 2015, with the author stating in the last update about wanting to write more chapters.

A Watch From The Clouds
A view ever present,
Watching down below.
Wondering where the time went,
As the crow observed the humans’ show.
Soaring high near the clouds,
Like a ghost it stalked.
Looking at the crowds,
Searching for a story to become enthralled.
A few humans look,
Others don’t seem to see,
The shifting reality rook,
Watching from the clouds and flying ever free.

1922 • Film Review
Tumblr media
A solid thriller/drama. I enjoyed that the supernatural bits were rare, and that this was more or less a view on the aftermath of what transpired within the character’s lives/heads. There were some well done shots that I enjoyed as well.

The Witch • Review
Tumblr media
A very interesting film, going into it, I was expecting more of the horror genre from what I had remembered of trailers back when it first came out, though after watching it become more of a period drama with supernatural elements. It still had its horror elements, and disturbing imagery, and all in all, a solid watch during Halloween. I highly recommend this film to anyone and everyone.

The Hateful Eight - Extended Cut • Review
Tumblr media
Although I had already watched this before hand, I believe that was the theatrical cut. Still enjoyed this film, the extra scenes add to the building of the tensions, there are also some line changes, but other than that, it was mainly just the same film, just split into 4 different episodes, though I mainly watched all of them back to back. Other than that, good film.

SOMA #3
Tumblr media
*Spoilers Ahead*
I was able to get around Lurker, and got up to the communication center. I had a small chat with Catherine, as well as slowly picking up the pieces of what had happened to those who were at Upsilon. After the communication center was destroyed by underwater pressure, I strolled through the ocean, finding a little robotic friend. I continued forward until I found the Shuttle Bay, the location in which Catherine told me to head to, all while maneuvering other crazed robots, with my new little friend opening up the door for me before leaving.
At the Shuttle Bay, I found the last remaining member of Upsilon, Amy Azzaro, hooked up to some sort of bio-machine, forcing her to stay alive. Due to the only way to unlock power, I had to disconnect Amy, killing her in the processes. Then, I tried to use the shuttle to head to Lambda to meet with Catherine, a small brief moment of hope for a peaceful scene, only to crash, and be forced out into the ocean again, having to continue to Lambda on foot. When I finally got there, I found out that Catherine, or at least the Catherine that I have been speaking to, was nothing more than a memory scan that was linked to a robot. Catherine also told me that I wasn’t human, and just a diving suit with electronics connected, a thought that I would rather not think about.
After hooking up Catherine to my omni-tool, I also learned that the Earth was destroyed by a comet, and that the personnel of Pathos-II were all that was left of humanity. Additionally, a certain project known as the ARK was created to put memory scans of all of the personnel into a device and launch the device into space, where the scans will live in a utopia esc wonderland. After a quick investigation, me and the Catherine scan learned that the ARK didn’t make it that far, and where at the TAU location of Pathos-II. With that knowledge, Catherine and I headed out of Lambda, and after trying to use a vehicle that was broken, we planned to find one that wasn’t broken in a crashed ship. On the way there, I was haunted by the image of what looked to be a weird abomination. Finally getting to the crashed ship, I encountered the abomination, which looks to be a corrupted human. This is also where I had experienced my first death. Reawakening from the earliest save point, I ponder as to what else lays before me on this adventure, and for this character that I inhabit, this Simon Jarrett, and what mysteries lay in his past of getting here from Toronto.

Kill Bill Vol. 2 • Review
Tumblr media
Just like the first, a fantastic film, was a enjoyment through and through, though the first volume had a lot better fight scenes in my opinion. Other than that, good film.

SOMA #2
Tumblr media
I have encountered my first enemy, a blue glowing robot. I’m going to name it Lurker, cuz it lurks around I guess. I am currently cornered, though hopefully I can get out alive. I have yet to die, so I guess that means I’m on the right track.

I have begun to play SOMA, I believe this will be my first horror game that I will play. I was initially interested in the philosophical aspects of this game, and I am intrigued into what awaits me.

A Start
I currently have 2 projects in mind. Both are to finish out lists of entertainment, one is film, the other games. I may also venture towards YouTube, though this is a unknown for now. Otherwise, I will be noting my experiences with the forms of entertainment within this blog, as well as doing some creative writing as well. This is all.
