Sometimes the simplest workouts end up being the hardest! 10 Squats and 4 muscle-ups (modified), as many rounds as possible for 15min. I as myself everyday, what makes a good workout? Is it one that leaves you lifeless and broken, or one that allows you to live? I find that waving the intensity of training is key for longevity. Some days you train and can’t roll out of bed the next day, and other days you feel like you can move mountains after a workout. A good workout addressed your weaknesses and sharpens your strengths. Post workout carbs. Even though I eat mainly proteins and veggies, I eat good clean carbohydrates around physical activity. In my opinion sweet potatoes are king for refueling and keeping muscle on amidst prolong training sessions. Finding time to workout can be the biggest obstacle we face. Please take these 3 tips to pretty much guarantee you get your workout in: Tip 1: Plan your workout the day prior. Write out the complete warm up, the main exercises with target reps and weight, and a quick cool down. Tip 2: Try something new and challenging! Stop doing the same old boring workout. Program a new skill to learn and master. Such as kettlebell snatches, or pistol squats. Tip 3: Do interval training! Not every workout has to be 3 sets of 10 with 1-2 min rest. Try hitting squats, then KB swings, the leg raises, followed by walking lunges for one giant set. Repeat for 5 rounds. 20 minutes later you might be hovering over a trash with but satisfied with a huge leg pump. For more tips and workout ideas please follow and share. I recently changed up my morning routine by skipping the intense WODs and focusing on mobility. Starting the day off with awesome mobility sessions has improved all of my workouts during the day!!! My goal has always been to improve strength, keep muscle and maintain conditioning, however without improving mobility the risks of injury are too great. I saw my wife @mobilitybee do her yoga and mobility routines every morning while I worked out and I knew that I should be doing what she was doing. I knew that I always wanted to become more flexible and mobile but never prioritized it. Now I do, and it is paying off HUGE!! Every morning I wake up stiff as a board and after our session I actually feel loose, pain free, strong, and confident in my movement.
