I take much pleasure in the way my mind works, I love my taste, my eye for beauty, the way I see love in all places, my willingness to understand without knowing.

the sheer fact that everyone moves through life with entirely different interpretations of reality is so wild to me. what a startling thing to realize, that it is rare that someone interprets the surrounding world in ways similar to you. I think that's maybe why when I do come by something such as a piece of literature, lyric, etc. which speaks to me so closely, so poetically, so vividly, I am alarmed and yet thrilled to know that there are thoughts and interpretations of the world and life itself that complement or resemble my own. that I am perhaps not alone in my perception of reality, that there are dreamers alike.
