I've got two exams coming on, you guys 😭

Analytical Chemistry on November 9th and Probability and Statistics on November 13th

Besides all that I've got the labs and the labs papers going on, and have a Fundamentals of Medical Microbiology seminar paper and presentation due on December 5th

After that December just get crazy and full of tests

But pheew! Just one more day of intensive cramming before my microbiology test tomorrow, and I still don't feel that ready. I think there was so much I could've done better if I stayed focused and studied accordingly to my plans... But, well, you know me!

Just gotta do my best with the little time that's left, and keep on going strong so the same thing doesn't happen next time.

Just gotta keep fusing with the library chair and read till I finish the topic, but gotta work up on that motivation 😂

By the way, it's my first time doing the Cornell Method and I really like it

Apologies + Explaining my Course Structure

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I spent soo much time without coming here and posting! I got really lazy past semester and didn't study at all, and then I was on vacations...

But now the semester has begun (actually it's in the middle of it and I'm having my exams) and I'm having trouble getting focused and getting stuff done, so I just though about coming back here and holding accountable, maybe that helps too.

So, I'm on my third semester on pharmaceutical science major, and just so you guys can keep track of it I'm gonna explain the former year and this one.

My course is structured like (Year x Semester y) and has five years and I have to finish all the classes before Y5S2, cause that semester is only for internship. The classes can only be taken at the same semester (1st or 2nd).

So last year I had Y1S1 and Y1S2, and this year I'm having Y2S1 AND Y2S2. I usually have 5 to 6 classes each semester, but since last semester I only passed 2 (and failed 4), during Y2S2 I'll gonna be doing 8 classes, and leaving one from Y2S2 to next year (Y3S2).

I'm at Y2S1, and I currently have 5 classes:

Fundamentals of medical microbiology

Organic Chemistry 2

Biochemistry 2

Probability and statistics

Analitycal chemistry

I was suposed to be on vacation, but i got bad grades, so I have some exams this month. They cover all the topics we studied this semester, and tho i already did studied a little for an exam and the math related stuff is pretty fresh in my mind (had a test not long ago), I'm worried cause I'm running out of time!

I have to do 100 practice questions for one subject I started today, I'm at number 3 and the exam is next week.

My calendar is:

9th: Chemical bonding theory exam

11th: Celular biology exam

18th: Math exam

So, i’m thinking that maybe having study buddies will help me getting motivated, so I did this post to help everyone looking for someone to be buddies with!

The idea is to write on the comment section your name, country and what you study (if you like, you could specify some subjects or just say the area like science). Who sees it and think you guys should talk, just like the comment, mention the person or message!

A little bit of math from last night, i got many doubts so i didnt complete at all this sheet, but I'll ask the teacher today so hopefully ill be able to do everything this afternoon

I’m kinda freaking out with a late study night for an anatomy test due tomorrow!

I counted, the teacher presented more than 400 slides, and the way she phrases things is so confusing (what’s worse, she copy directly from the book, not even a word different, instead of saying it her way and clarifying)

And i have a chemical bonding theory lab class tomorrow, to which i have to go to with an program installed on my desktop (and know how to use it)

Next week, i got like 4 tests in a row

Ugh, college is the worst

So, this was how i spent my tuesday night, instead as having sweet dreams while i sleep!

I’m worried because there were some subject that i got veeeeery low grades and, though most of the tests are just at the end of the month (like 20), i’ve started to study already! Anyways, this is just like 1/5 of math, and thats very slow

i didnt do much, because as the night was going on, tumblr did got the best of me, and got me trapped haha

but, as im trying to improve myself (gradually) you guys should cut a slack

But, ok, i need help getting things done and stuff, and i really think studyblr communitty will help me out w that, just seeing everyone so motivated keep me wanting to move on

Besides, the faster i get better grades in college, the faster i get my nights of sleep back (i drank 5 coffees in 15 hours!)

This was a note I took during my histology lab, the teacher is very tough and rude, but the subject itself is quite cool

I was completely lost in college, so i think this was actually the first appointment I did during a lab class (in all subjects)... I’m trying to get better at getting things done, faster (also, the tests are at the end of the month, what truuuuuuly gets me motivated). Didn’t study at all during high school, so i’m trying to break the routine here, and you guys should give me a break hahaha
