Ceruse is the creator of 'Mong, the flying cat' in TGAU. In some worlds, he is known as a deity due to his contributions during his previous descent.

dream archive: slice of vibes/fluff vibes

starting in hospital ward due to unknown reasons. After chatting with the doctor, the popular kids came to visit me ( apparently I open the door and yeet to bed and sleep 🤨) I got woken up by someone climbing to my bed (brain awake, haven't open eyes), the person lay down and placed arm onto my back. So I shifted like a signal to them to move ww. He: "Hey, it's eun本" (?? my brain thinks it's using eun woo as reference but I only know his name and face lmao). I calm down and doze off ( I swear they never let me be awake in my romance dreams)

At some point, I woke up and saw his face ( i don't rmb how he look like 😃) and started talking in low voices but I'm half asleep and he is whispering so communication is difficult. He asked what hair color he should dye next and I couldn't hear lmao and ask him text instead. He kissed my face/cheek?? I was thinking black/ dark silver but then change mind so went to his Instagram to see what colors have been done. I typed 'eunha' lmao.

Summer Tease | Nora oneshot

Cora absentmindedly munched on a pocky as she stared at her barely legible notes. The monotonous lecture that was previously loud and clear is now being lulled into background noise, her brains were no longer absorbing information from the lecture. Her head was now leaning on her propped up left palm, her scribbles were getting slower, eyes were staring blankly at the screen.

"Why does this class have to be scheduled in the afternoon? Why did I think that registering this class in this time slot was a good idea?!" She could only groan at her stupidity - She woke up late on the day of module registration, had login issues with her account and had to choose between either an early morning or afternoon slot when everything was finally fixed. She had a genius idea of registering the afternoon class since she finds the morning slot was too early for her liking but failed to realise that this was to be taken in the summer and now she is regretting her life decisions hard. 

The sound of her classmate answering the professor’s question brought her attention back into class again. She quickly scribbled down the additional notes that were displayed on the slides and grabbed another pocky, willed herself to focus on the class. 

Her boost of energy from the pocky did not last long, however. 

Barely 10 minutes in, she could feel herself zoning out and her notes were slowly turning into illegible, messy squiggly lines. Cora could feel her eyelids were slowly drooping, the pocky was no longer effective. Rubbing her eyes, she resigned her fate and gave up on staying awake. At least the sessions were recorded. "I’ll just watch the recording later." Her eyes shifted towards the window beside her, gazing at the lazy streets of City A. Despite the pavements barely having any traffic, she could see the little cafes, eateries that were scattered along the street were filled with university students, who, like her, wanted to escape the summer heat, took respite in the cafes and eateries. Except, she was stuck watching the zoom session in the shared apartment, unable to escape the heat.

"A trip to the beach sounds like fun right now." She glanced at the clock, taking note of the remaining duration of the lecture before she was free and began reminiscing on the previous beach trip she took with Noah. It was a much needed break after all the intensive exams, projects and work they had to deal with. "Gotta ask Noah if he is up for another beach trip." She quickly made a note on a post-it to not forget and it was at this moment, her brain decided to rewind a particular scene that she has been actively avoiding. During their recent beach trip, she witnessed a scene of Noah taking off his drenched shirt after it got annoyingly clung to his body from the water activities they had and of course, Cora immediately averted her eyes out of respect but because he was sitting right beside her , she ends up ‘peeking’ at the fine-looking man through her peripherals. 

Noah Edrene, the sly bastard that has a bit of narcissism and the man that she unexpectedly fell in love with, definitely knew what he was doing, after all, he was putting on a show of him removing his shirt, his wet muscles glistens under the sun, ruffling his hair to the back. He even leans forward, bringing the space between him and her close to none as he grabs a towel from his bag.  He definitely enjoyed the tomato faced Cora and her trying not to peek. In his defense, Cora has one of the most adorable reactions and he who has caught feelings for her, was slowly wooing her, in his own way, though the two clearly like each other, they were both convinced that it was an unrequited love but that is something the duo would have to face in the future.

"Cora? Back to earth Cora." She snapped back from her daydream , eyes widening at the sight of Noah being quite close but not close enough to be seen from the camera. His hair was semi wet from the shower he had just taken, a towel hanging on his head. His wet hair, tilted face and the cute smile that appeared once he got her attention was an attack to her precious maiden's heart. 

"Y-Yes?' She mentally cursed at her romantic feelings for this sly red haired man as she suppressed her incoming blush from the fatal attack. "What do you want for dinner?" Her reaction to his appearance didn't go unnoticed by Noah, who definitely knew what he was doing with that series of action and appearance, was adorable. A brilliant idea pops into his mind.  "Bouillabaisse from the restaurant down the corner? We can get the sorbet you like nearby?" Cora quickly answered, hoping her reaction did not give away her current battle with her rising feelings. "Sounds good." Noah immediately started his act, glancing at the pocky she was eating. 

"Is that a new flavour?" An innocent question that flew past her. "Yeah, it's pretty good. Here, you can try-" She grabbed the box, wanting to offer him some to try but nothing prepared her from the sudden movement of Noah-he leaned in and took a bite from the half eaten pocky in her mouth. 

"It's good." He licked his lips, a smirk appeared on his face at her expression. Cora was completely frozen. Her brain short circuited from Noah's action, face immediately turned bright red as she tried to process what just happened. "A-Ah ah" She struggled to form words. Noah chuckled at her reaction, amused. 

"Miss Cora." Her professor awkwardly spoke and coughed. She immediately froze at her sudden comment. "Cora?" He was puzzled and looked down  to see a class laughing and giggling. He too, went stunned and retracted himself out of view.

"W-wha-!" To her embarrassment, she realised what happened and her face immediately turned even redder than a tomato. She had forgotten her camera was on and everyone in the call saw some of Noah's head and towel, to what appears to be a kiss, which was false. "It's not what it looks like!" She yelled, though she had her mic mute. Noah cleared his throat, and left.

Cora unmuted her mic, trying to explain what happened and it was not what they were thinking. She was frantic, hands gesturing everywhere. "It's alright to be in a relationship but you must remember we are in a class." The professor was trying to maintain a professional appearance. 

"Yes..." In the end, Cora slumped, giving up her attempts of explanation. She dreads tomorrow's class, everyone would surely ask about her relationship with Noah which she was not ready to explain that she is living with the most popular guy on campus, while harbouring feelings and what just happened was not an indication of a romantic relationship. Though, she was thankful that Noah was not in the same major as her, to prevent things from getting worse.

Noah, who managed to return to his room, immediately plops on to his bed. His face buried into the pillow as a blush immediately forms on his cheeks and ears. "Ah…that was embarrassing…"

Noctis glance at the pop up as he gazed at the white portal. No one knows when it showed up, until a woodcutter from the nearby town who stumbled on to it on accident, only then it was noticed. "Suspicious." He thinks, tightening his grip on the hilt of his sword. Gates were the portals to domains and when created, a wave of mana are released, allowing them to detect it. That was until today. The unknown rank did not help with the situation. It was a first to have one labled as unknown. Would five S ranks be enough to clear this domain? They were the best in the country but they could also go in and never returned. His eyes narrowed, "Unknown rank, unknown domain. The first of its kind." He mutters, seemingly wants to burn the gate through glaring.

"Noctis, stop glaring at the gate." Jay taps his shoulder, gave him a wry smile. Noctis just grunted and turn his attention as the rest of the exploration team arrived. Victoria, Seia, Taka with Cael as the communication link between them and the Association.

"So that's the unknown gate." Seia hummed as she looks, "Wow, it really has no presence." Despite her light hearted tone, her body stance was tense and alert. "Alright, today’s mission is exploration. Do not engage unless there's an absolutely need." Jay, the leader, smiles as he reminds them once again. An unknown domains means unknown risks and he doesn't want any casualties if possible. "Break a leg, guys." Cael waved as the unit enters the domain.

[ system: you have entered 'Sanctuary of ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ]

One foot in and they were immediately overwhelmed. Their knees buckled and they were gasping for "air". Heavy heaving and coughs was heard in the otherwise serene and quiet, lush forest. The air was heavily concentrated with mana. A whiff was enough to make them keel over. It felt like pure mana has invaded their body, causing their body to take in more than what they could handle. Gasping, Victoria extends her hand, casting a skill.

「 Skill Activation: circle of survival 」

A purple hued dome envelopes the crew and begins filtering out excess mana. Gradually, sounds of heaving, chokes died down as they slowly adapts to the mana level of the domain. Victoria was the first to recover. "Is everyone okay?" Her raspy voice calls out with a few cough to clear her throat. Nods were given as all of them sit up once they could breath again. All of them had grim expressions on their face. While Victoria's skill enabled the party to breath again, the mana levels were an issue. In a place that is mana rich and heavily concentrated, the monsters here would not be easy. They took a moment to survey their surrounding.

Shades of green surrounds them with various plants and trees. An overgrown forest with no signs of beasts and monsters. The leaves sway gently whenever there was a breeze. It was so slient that they could hear each other's breathings and an occasional leaf rustling. It's unusual. Perhaps they were used to having the sounds of the insects from the forests back home that the complete silent was eerie to them. "Detection has been deployed, we can move anytime." Seia broke the silence. "Okay, let's move." Jay whispered.

Traversing the forest was not easy. The forest was a giant. Not only was it huge, the plants that grew here were ginormous enough that they feels like an insect. Noctis hacked and slashes the plants to make a patheway as they searched. There was nothing except plants. "Seia, anything on the detection circle?" Taka asked. She shook her head. He sighs. They have been walking what feels like hours and they are not seeing anything. Their uneasiness grew as they marched on. "How big is this forest?" Noctis wonders, not liking the lack of monsters ironically. It made him feel unease yet relief at the same time. "How far is the boss location?" He continues to wonder as he clears the path. He stopped. Everyone stopped.

Infront of them was an unusual sight. Light gleamed on the amber egg-shape objects. A very tall tree looms over eggs, the roots and parts of its branches and vines envelopes them like they were protecting it. "Seia." Jay commanded. "No signs of potential mothers nearby." she continued. It was strange. The domain did not contain a single lifeform. "Hey, do you think we have entered a resting place for recovery? The domain was titled sanctuary." Taka asked, taking note of the sleeping figures.

"Possible. Let's scower the perimeter." Jay finally made a decision. Armed and battle ready, they came out of the dense forest and into the clearing, treading carefully. Other than the eggs, there was nothing. Victoria and Seia observed the eggs at a safe distance. "Do you think it's safe to kill? Victoria questioned, noting the lack of potential mothers means they could prevent the birth of future bosses. Seia doesn’t know. Despite her longevity as an elf, a false move could cause them death. "Perhaps. But let's wait for Jay's decision." She concluded, walking. "There's really nothing here. Is this really an unknown rank domain?" She doesn’t like this, too much unknown odds. The group eventually makes their way into the perimeter and finally, right enough of the eggs. Nothing was triggered.

The eggs were an amber gem that cocoons the individuals. Inside the eggs, they could see a man and a woman inside, in a fetus position. The man have light golden hair while the lady have black hair that held in a ponytail. A katana cradles between her. Their outfit were in tatters, like they have just fought a war. Both had their eyes closed. "They are alive." Seia detects, it was a very faint signal from their mana, so faint that they blend in with the mana in the surroundings like an object.

[ system: congratulations, you have found the missing guardians of the old world. ]

"Guardians of the old world? What does that mean?" Noctis's eyebrows furrowed.

[ system: you now earned the title 'Discovers of the heart ]

[ system: the heart welcomes you. you are now the second to enter its abode. ]

[ system: a favor has been bestowed to you. 'Please bring the guardians to Shuji.' ]

"Woah, woah, we do not bring back bosses into our homeland." Noctis rejects the favour. Bring them would be a free pass to their's country destruction.

[ system: the sanctuary says they are humans who once fought the great war. ]

"No way...The great war?!" Seia's eyes widened at the information. "The war that has occurred 1000 years ago?" She was speechless. A war that her master, Shuji, once told her. A war that was so terrible that it nearly caused the world to go extinct.

[ yes. ]

The party was stumped. Their records say no one returned despite them being victorious and now they are being told there are survivors, just trapped or in this case, sleeping in the domain. "Can humans live that long?" They wondered. This was shocking news.

"How can we trust you?" Seia questioned. They have to make sure it wasn't a trick by the domain. None of them knew the war well and she only had hear bits from her master.

[system: the sanctuary offers a brooch. ]

A branch went towards them, handing a gold brooch with intricate patterns that shaped into a tree with a ruby at its center. The brooch has magic imbued to them. "That's master's insignia." Seia confirms.

"Master gave his insignia...He has entered the domain before." She concluded and nods to Jay. "Alright, we will take them back." He agreed. While he doesn't trust the domain, he trust Seia and Shuji, the world's only EX rank.

[ system: the cocoons will now be open. ]

The eggs glowed, turning into pure mana and opens, revealing the brown haired man and black hair lady, their clothes were in tatters. Victoria did basic check up on them, all injuries have been healed. Both Noctis and Taka carried the unconscious duo.

[ system: the sanctuary thanks them and opens an exit to the world as gratitude. ]

A blue portal opens as right beside them as another message pings.

[ system: ???? rank domain has been cleared. Time left to closure: 5 minutes. ]

"Let's go." They entered the portal and came out from the original portal where the team and Cael was waiting. Cael was surprised to see the two new faces. "Who are they?"

"It's a long story but to keep it short, they were humans trapped in the domain." Jay explains with a sigh. "Cael, could you contact Mr. Shuji? Tell him we have an urgent case that he needs to look at." He asks, pointing towards the unconscious. Cael nods and calls Shuji. They then bring the duo to a nearby hospital for a more thorough checkup.

notes. this is more of an introspection than an actual x reader bc i just think that leander goes a lil insane every time he remembers that he is the first person mc has ever touched with their bare hands before 

LEANDER is painfully aware of his reputation; knows that you’ve heard rumours of how the corner room you currently occupy in the wet wick was once exclusively for him and his one-night-stands, vere’s little quips of him getting some action with a stranger or two in dark alleys, and he hasn’t exactly been subtle with the way he looks at you in the candlelight when you’re huddled together in one of the booths. he knows that you’re no fool, that you’re not deaf to the warnings to stay away from him lest you fall too deep into his spell of dark magic— 

but you stay anyway. 

perhaps it is because he is one of the few to offer you some semblance of comfort in the unfamiliar streets of eridia without asking for anything else, or because he is the only one capable of touching your bare hands and remain sane enough to see the exact shade of your pretty eyes, but whatever the reason, he finds himself unable to care. he finds himself doing a lot of uncharacteristic things since you’ve come around, actually.

leander does not believe in god, has never even entertained such thoughts of a divine entity existing with the sort of life he’s led since birth, but he thinks that despite your curse, you are the closest thing to an angel he’s ever met. leander feels bad about it, really; the thoughts that plague his mind when he lets you trace the grooves and scars of his calloused hands, your darkened fingertips ghosting upon the skin of his forearm like a dancer from the amaryllis district. he feels guilty, as if he’s taking advantage of your trust like this, even if you’re the one who’s touching him, but it’s outweighed by that something that leander still can’t name even after all those nights of laying awake in night or nursing his nth bottle of rum in the wet wick at some ungodly hour of the night; something about how you touch him like he’s the only solid thing in the world, the look in your eyes when you find your fingers wandering over to the scar on his face. 

there is no such thing as heaven or hell, just the monsters (soulless and mortal) that linger in the space between, but your touch is divine, and for the first time in his life, leander wants nothing more than to repent for his sins, to whisper his confessions against the warm dark-gold of your knuckles as if he could find some semblance of forgiveness in your skin.

so in this route I did, kuras’s ending was tweaked and added more dialogue. I’m not sure if anyone found it but I think it be could his hidden red choice that isn’t a red choice? Anyways, here is the full route (I have no idea what affects this ending so start to end!) :
