My Tiana came in!!! She is absolutely gorgeous and I love EVERY inch of her!! This is my first 17 in with the LA boxes and I think they’re just absolutely divine!! I really love the detailing! So happy to finally have a 17 in Tiana in my collection!!!

STORM IS HERE!!!

Of course I had to get The GameStop Exclusive Storm Barbie from their Marvel 80th Celebration line! She is such a great quality doll I might even cave and get Jean and Mystique later (they’re still available online as of 10/21!)

She is so fun to pose and absolutely photogenic and yet these pics don’t even do her justice!

The cape attaches to the front of her bodice with her iconic ruby and to her wrists; held together by a thin black elastic. It looks like the cape ends in loops for her wrists to be potentially threaded through, but I didn’t feel like taking her apart. It seems to function just fine with the elastic. The lower part of her thighs (just above the knees) have double-sided tape to keep her boots up. It’s... kind of annoying personally, but I get it. I’m only using her for display only so I don’t plan on redressing her any time soon! The boots have hard soles but are “flats”; no heels or stilettos to stand on. While the elbows and knees use M2M joints, her torso and ankles do not. So having her stand on her own is near impossible. Her hair is long, thick, and super soft! And it has a bit of iridescence to it, sometimes having blue undertones but I guess that depends on the environment and lighting lol! She does come with the stand pictured and a COA!  SOOO glad I got this doll!!!

Good news!

I got a free ticket to go to GHC 2019 (https://ghc.anitab.org/) - A huge tech conference in Orlando for women! As someone who has been trying for 3 years to actually get an IT job, this is a great thing.

I know how to use hyperlinks but tumblr hates when people are directed off site so we gotta do it like that)

Thankfully, most of the trip is paid for.  I just need to pitch in a bit with the plane ticket and have some money for meals - no more than 100$.

I am not asking for donations. There are a lot of people worse off than myself who need it.

Instead, I’m selling things! Mainly a bunch of Funko, toys (Mattel dolls and a TON of MH accessories), I have some books and video games (Nintendo), and a bunch of other things I don’t want.

D23 Exclusive 17” Ariel

This doll has truly won me over! As you all know, I was initially very skeptical of this doll but she is so gorgeous! I absolutely love her face mold and the little details of her dress. I plan to display her without the front cover so you can see the bottom layers of her dress!

Hey Sam! To you and all the other Floridian collectors and anyone else in the hurricane’s path: make sure you keep your dolls away from windows, but also, get them as high up as you can. When Harvey hit, I moved the dolls closest to the windows away, but flooding never occurred to me and I moved them too low. I lost my FF Anna to the flood waters because that was my first hurricane and flooding never crossed my mind as something to worry about. So elevate your dolls too!
