I'm not dead, just in recovery

I've been struggling a lot with my health this year, plus my scanner broke and I have to set up a new one. But miraculously I'm still here, so to see more of my work follow me on Instagram and feel free to drop me a message.

Balin update!  He`s had his scan and there`s some good new and some bad. The scan showed he had a 3cm by 2cm lump They took a sample of it through a needle, that`s why he has a shaved patch.  The sample showed that it`s probably not cancer!! It is however a very large abscess that could need surgery. They said this could cost around £300 to £400 He`s been put onto antibiotics as well as the steroids  So far they seem to be having an effect and he is gaining weight again  I`m still taking art commissions and textile commissions Again, thank you so so much to everyone who has commissioned me and donated <3 <3 <3

It`s not looking good for Balin. He`s going back to see the vet tomorrow because he passed blood. It`s not progressed to internal bleeding yet, but I`m not hopeful

Some would argue that this is in fact the first guide. This guide is there through out all, the beginning, middle, and end. Do not be afraid, for whether it is your time or not this guide will be there to show the way

With all that`s happening I`m not feeling too great, so I`m drawing Ben and Poe to help I see this as an AU where Ben never left but he struggles with the ever present threat of Snoke trying to break into his mind

Balin seems to be responding to the medication! After taking his meds he seems to be in less pain which is a good sign! He`s eating better now but as you can see he`s still underweight.  At the end of his course of meds the vet is going to check if they have had any effect on the size of the tumour. Thank you so so much to everyone who had commissioned me and donated to help him! I couldn`t help him without you!

I made a small post about this on my main blog, but this is the official one. This is Balin, hes the sweetest oaf you will ever find, he`s around 5, and he was taken to the vet today because he`d lost weight from not eating and drinking enough.  At the vet they found a suspected tumour that is in/on his colon and his kidneys. To be 100% sure they need to give him a scan that will cost £100. For now he has been given steroids in the hopes that it will shrink the tumour slightly.  To help with his vet bills I`m offering commissions here  I also make clothes and other textiles which can be found here You can also donate to my Ko-fi, every bit counts If he has any hope of survival we need to see if the tumour can be operated on, and then if it can there will be additional costs of the operation. Balin is very important to both me and my sister, he`s practically her therapy pet and is a great help when she`s having autism flareups.   Please, please if you can, donate or commission me <3
