Calling all Fander Writers! You have from now through April 29th to sign up for Camp Cartoon!

What's Camp Cartoon? Well, gosh, I'm so glad ya asked!

Camp Cartoon is a month-long fanfiction writing event that starts May 1. When Campers (writers) sign-up (no later than April 29th), they submit two prompts they'd like to see filled. When all the forms are in, we sort everybody into their cabins with a handy-dandy Counselor (mod) to help out.

Starting on May 1st, everybody writes!

Campers in each cabin plan together to write gift fics for the other cabins' prompts. Every story earns a cabin points and there are special bonus points for finishing all of another cabin's prompts!

All stories must be complete and posted on AO3 and/or Tumblr by the end of the day on May 31st.

Camp Cartoon Sign-ups Open April 15th!

Well, color me embarrassed.

We’re well into April and I’m only now getting this little note out to everybody! I’d planned to post this at the tippity-top of the month but somebody^ started a rewatch of Animaniacs and I lost a week there.) But enough about that—Very Serious Sr. Picani mode activate!

Camp Cartoon is just three weeks away!

The Camp Counselors (mods) and I just couldn’t be more excited! Camper (writer) sign-up forms will be posted right here in this Bat Channel on April 15th.

Forms close on April 29th. We’ll also open up the Discord server on the 15th—campers can use the link at the end of the sign-up form.

We'll announce who’s in which cabin (teams) on the 30th right there on Discord and we can all get to writing those bunk notes on the 1st of May. Each camper (and counselor) will have exactamente 1 month to finish as many stories as their hearts desire (and their typing fingers allow!)

Every story a camper writes earns their cabins points. Cabins will also get super-dee-duper bonus points for finishing all the prompts of another cabin, so teamwork makes the dream work here!

Good evening. I hope I’m doing this right (and I hope I’m not too late).

I would like a ristretto brewed coffee with copious amounts of 2% milk, one HUGE dash of loganberry syrup, a teeny splash of peach syrup and enough chocolate shavings to cover the top.

(Canonverse, G/t featuring Logan who grows when he feels strong emotions - both positive and negative - which he sees as a defect and leads him to repress them (which of course backfires on him in a big way and Patton helps him), lots of hurt/comfort (but with a happy ending) and Logicality mutually pining/getting together)
